After watching this so many times, I just realized something. Since Rowan did the entire production himself, he pocketed the fifty grand. Playtech paid for an instructional video to be produced at that location. So, Rowan did it. And got fifty grand for doing it.

This was actually a very informative video and I'm genuinely impressed. I documented all the DOs and the DONTs from this instructional video.
The DOs and DONTs Rowan were teaching us:
Starting at 0:45
Do meet everyone with a friendly smile
Do not sit on or try on the products on display
Do not game on the clock
When moving products, make sure you are looking forward with two hands on the cart
Clean and dust display products
Proper tool safety, do not play with power tools
Do not try on the glasses on display
Do not use the drive chair while on the clock
When carrying products, be sure to only take what you can safely hold, don't over stack your load
Always suggest the Steel Series
Be sure to take your allocated break time, do not go over your break time
Properly stock items while abiding by all FIFO rules

I've loved this series from the first episode. I used to work at Best Buy, and my god, I get chills watching it sometimes.
I see Alan has finally decided to join the herd. That look of 'here we go again' and 'maybe if I don't say anything, it will all go away' was priceless. or 50 grand.

That was the most beautiful production I've ever seen. I'm turning my life around due to the insightful, heart wrenching production. The Producer/Director/Writer/Cast/Photographer/Designer/Editor/Costume Designer/Composer/Casting Director did an amazing 10 jobs.

This reminds me of a video I made back in highschool when I thought I was a hot shot director. I filmed a promo for a friends startup business which was eerily similar to this one. I didn't notice it then, but when I look back on it now, it was soo corny and poorly acted, no wonder no-one took me seriously as a director after that
i love that i was in the previous episode (funeral, as an extra), and then this was an idea i submitted. the best part is the training video would of taken longer to make than the actual episode.

This might be my favourite Bored, and I'm definitely stealing Rowan's snap-finger-point-way-too-close-to-the-face for my own real life interactions.
My other favourite part is the watch tap, because that's either suggesting "Okay, I've got to get back to work" or far more likely "Okay, I'm going to keep playing, but YOU'VE got to get back to work."
