    I'v never riden an electric scooter in my life but i purchased a Nami Burn e 2 max and i can handle it just fine.
    My R1 is way more dangerous then this scooter. But yes guys this scooter is soooo thrilling to ride. If you are a thrill seeker such as myself the Nami is TOTALLY fine. I think what he means is if you arnt a thrill seeker or adrenalin junky then dont get this as a first scooter. If you are like me. DEFFINITLY get it!

      @@shanew7361 i havnt had to change brakes or tyres yet.
      I can tell you the brakes are very grippy, duel piston hydrolic logan.
      Tyres seem fine. I was expecting pmt tyres but that was not the case.
      1 thing ill mention is it says it has a 120km range and it does in eco mode. No1 gona stay in that mode.
      My X mode is maxed out on all perfomance settings and if i ride it flat out at an average 90kmph i will get about 40 km's out of the battery.
      I prefer to leave it in S mode because i can easily get well over 60km.
      But when i hit the hiway im always switching it onto X mode as S mode sits on around 70kmph abit sliw for hiway use.
      If you do get it mate i suggest purchasing at least 1 revision mirror as a must and be awear that the blinkers in the daytime are next to usless in regards to traffic behind you noticing. They are fine at night.
      Last thing you will have to unclip the two wires on either side of the deck to unrestrict it if purchasing it in Australia. Other then that.
      I dont have any byers regret at all i fucking love it!

    I would argue against recommending new riders not to try one of these, like you said, it can be tuned down and will just give them a lot more range at the end of the day.
    Nothing wrong with buying something with decent quality instead of entry level rubbish and running it limited

    • @dcunplugged31
      @dcunplugged31  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I'm more worried about people hurting themselves from themselves. Yes 100% they are very tam but would you put you 13 year old brother or sister on it ? In full unlocked. Yes you would have put down the power but what if they watch a video on how to max it out and as soon as they got around a corner they maxed it out....... When making TH-cam video's you have a responsibility and opportunity to both show and stop bad things from happening. I personally try to look after my followers and am not reckless nor do I try to be miss leading. You may find it fine but someone with money may buy this thinking it would make a good gift to someone and then end up in hospital or worse. Not saying your wrong but its like giving the keys to a ferrari to someone that just got there license. On this channel I speak to a broad audience who both young and old would appreciate the warning.

    • @JamiePineappleWyatt
      @JamiePineappleWyatt 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@dcunplugged31 legally speaking a 13 year old shouldn't even be near it or any scooter for that fact, doing so would be irresponsible.
      What they do on their own is their responsibility.
      Like I said, tuned down its perfect for a new user, tuned up, not a chance. It's not your responsibility at the end of the day.
      Just saying, I've met many, MANY people who dived directly into a nami and have had no problems at all.
      It's like saying, hey kid heres a v8 turbo mustang, have fun. Common sense still applies to everyday man.
      I speak to all myself too, but dont forget, you cant treat your audience like a bunch of babies.
      There was no animosity in my message, just pointing out to those who arent scared of buying something decent and treating it appropriately, that these are probably one of the best picks on the entire market.
      P.S I've seen first timers ride wepeds.

      @JamiePineappleWyatt 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      They are powerful for a first time rider, but that's the whole idea behind tuning them down, a lot of people start off in gear one in single motor on new rides just to get a feel for them. I get asked quite often on how to de-tune scooters for this very purpose.
      Would you agree that this would be a great first scooter, given that it was tuned down and treated like an actual motor vehicle and not a toy?

      @@dcunplugged31 Nami has a larger battery, so this is no surprise. I have a 40AH battery on order which I will be wiring up to be easily swappable between the original battery. So I'm not concerned about range. But I have also heard that the 72V is more "fuel efficient" compared to the 60V. To be honest if the Nami or Wolf King GT had easy access to the battery (like the Lightning) I would prob pull the trigger. IPX rating is also not a big issue as I have also increased the water proofing, I have tested by leaving Lightning out in the rain for a few hours and test drove it for 1 hr in heavy rain through large puddles. Will be increasing the waterproofing in the future so I can cross a 3 meter wide creek about 25 cm deep. Hopefully you will do a comparison between the 2 in the future. Will be waiting on the Nami review! Cheers

    1. You mounted the rear bracket wrong. Damper should be under the bracket not above.
    2. Easier way to adjust damper range is to make sure there is equal amount of the silver shaft showing on the damper on both sides of it.

    • @dcunplugged31
      @dcunplugged31  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      1. It doesn't matter wear its mounted top or bottom as it has a ball joint on both sides. I'd class it as personal preference so there would be no right or wrong. If you want to get technical. And eliminate " binding " always find the straightest parth with less angles.. Top
      2. This is not the case as shown in the video the cylinder mount is quite a way up if you centre both the cylinder mount the cylinder to the poll it slides along. You would only be able to steer one way really well and not the other. This is why the cylinder mount is close to the top of the black piston use a quick thumb measurement will get you very close to where you need to be.

    • @vripiatbuzoi9188
      @vripiatbuzoi9188 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@dcunplugged31 1. Yes it could be mounted on top as you have shown but the angle of movement will not be neutral but slightly diagonal. Mounted on the bottom like it should and you'll see the angle will be more straight and natural. I made the same mistake as most do. But I saw an official video on proper install then realized they were right. Under is better.
      2. Not true. Maybe you misunderstood. Put the steering bar straight and then adjust damper so that the exposed chrome piston rod coming out of both sides of piston body is equal in length. That is most accurate way. You'll be precise to the milliliter first time around. Non of this back and forth, left/right, trial and error stuff. But if you like your way fine. Just trying to save others extra work and imprecision.

    I don't understand could you clarify not wanting New riders to have this scooter? It's probably one of the safest scooters out there. You could have just recommended to leave an eco mode until you're ready to experience other driving modes and let adults make their own decision.
    I think what you meant to say is this should not be a first scooter for children.

      Iv seen adults with big egos turn around that ride race motorcycle jump on one of these and almost eat it after that he come back saying this is not like a motorbike and I ride 1000cc race bikes and this thing is dangerous. I agree can be a good first scooter how ever basic human error / pride and ego they put it in X because they think its like a bike 🏍 then all you can do is watch. I say this as a reviewer and take responsibility in showing a product but also showing the dangers of its performance. You wouldn't give a 18 year old a 1000cc race bike as there first motorbike. E-scooters are no different... I'm not going to do the agree to disagree back and forth I put it in there as a disclaimer or warning.
