Thank you for this video. I’m having the issue where the detergent isn’t getting rinsed and mixed off the door and bottom. I’m about to order this pump and hope it fixes it.
@@appliancepartspros , i fixed it temporarily, its from lack of use, i took it out and spun the motor and to be nosey i removed the cover to the electronics to take a look, those two small tabs on the top will break but oh well,
Great instructions. In your experience, what might happen to this pump (or other parts) if the water main to my house was turned off while the dishwasher was in mid cycle, so it was running dry. I turned it off, but I'm not sure how long it was running. I found very little information online (most said make sure the water is on) but after the water main to my house was turned on, I tried to run the DW through a cycle. I came on and the water from the previous cycle drained out like normal, but no water was getting into the machine. I would think that one of the motors burned up or a circuit in the appliance tripped or something. Any idea you might offer would be appreciated. Of course, I'd rather pay for a part or two than have to buy a new DW, but chasing rabbits ain't no fun.
Thank you!!! Your solved my problem 😉
You're welcome!
Great video! Thanks for the helpful tips and info! Grateful for you guys!

Make sure that water is coming into the dishwasher first before you buy a new pump
@@czechiann how do I verify that?
did you replace it? did it help? I have same problem like you.
Did the pump fix it? Have the same problem
@@drasticmart yes it did. It was fairly easy to do. Been running well ever since.
can i test this part with a meter? also how much voltage goes into this part from the wiring harness, thank you
You can test this part for voltage. This part should have 120vac. If the part has 120vac and does not come on then you will need to replace the part.

If the wheel dosent spin near the check ball does that mean the circulation pump is bad
That should turn, if it doesn't then that would indicate a bad circulation pump.
Great video! Is this what I need to replace if the wash arms aren’t spinning?
What is the model number of your dishwasher?
