    We are the champions OF THE WORLD is sung at the 1:12 mark, at least on the version of the song from Forever Gold album. So it is not exactly false memory.

      A little, yeah. But after watching quite a few of his videos, I'm getting used to his tendency to mispronounce words with confidence. Actually, I suddenly find it a little funny that Mandela would be one of them, in a video about false memory and the Mandela Effect.

    *QUEEN DID SING **_"of the world"_** IN THEIR SONG, 'WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS!'*
    *THE CHORUS IS SUNG 3 TIMES DURING THE SONG, AND ONLY IN THE 3rd CHORUS IS THE **_"of the world"_** PART OMITTED*
    *IN MANY (IF NOT MOST) LIVE PERFORMANCES, MERCURY ACTUALLY SINGS IT IN ALL 3 CHORUSES*
    *YOUR VIDEO IS INCORRECT, I AM RIGHT, AND THEREFORE I AM THE CHAMPION - OF THE WORLD!*

    • @angeleyesgreen1586
      @angeleyesgreen1586 6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      N Albertsson he was taking about the album version that was recorded during the times when songs were faded out, so you kept singing them after they were technically done. I actually prefer this method over the very final way songs have been ended since, I think, the late '90's. But that's just my preference.

    • @NilsAlbertsson
      @NilsAlbertsson 6 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      @angeleyes green... *That doesn't matter a bit! The line is sung "fully" in most cases... This track, incidentally, never had a vocal fade-out, making your point even more wank!*
      *Also, anybody who claims to prefer the fuck awful, and long since abandoned fade-out recording **-method-** gimmick, over normal endings, is clearly not a credible music lover, and is a wet cum-sock... Sorry, that's just the way it is, so kindly piss the fuck off. Thank you.*

    • @MQWriting
      @MQWriting 5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Although it's pretty apparent based on his language that N Alberston has completely lost his mind over a pretty trivial matter, he is correct in that the song never had a fade out. However, what you're both missing is that the video's narrator clearly refers to the song's ending. Go back and watch again. He says, "Everyone knows how it goes at the end." "The end." He is referring to how the song ends. Problem is, how many people actually remember it ending with "of the world?" Anyone who has listened to the song more than a few times knows Mercury doesn't sing "...of the world" at the end.

    • @VGamingJunkieVT

      It’s a case where the brain doesn’t remember minute details, they simply remember that the other choruses ended that way and, to save on brain power, simply assume the last one must have as well.

      I think that was intentional to showcase the false memory problem. Since the song debuted in Rocky III, they took the footage from Rocky III while describing what happened in the original Rocky, where people misremembered the song being from. Like they were misremembering Mr. T as Apollo Creed as well.

    I can clearly remember in the late 90's going to my local library and renting Logan's Run. Part way through the movie I paused it, and thought: "Man is there a lot of nudity for a PG movie." I checked the case, sure enough PG. I chalked it up to the ratings system being new in the 70's.
    I later found out what I saw was the long cut of the movie. Only problem, I've been informed since that the long cut was never released on home video. And even more recently I've been told the some of the footage was accidentally destroyed by the studio.
    This would be weird enough, but I remember different cuts of a half dozen other movies.

      LovedWife1 - i think you're totally right, just the other day I lost a cheeto in my bedroom, here's my theory:
      1 - I dropped it
      2 - it rolled under the desk
      3 - a group of ants (and possibly some cockroaches - i think they're working together on this) dragged it to their lair
      4 - upon the holding of the cheeto, a signal was transmitted to the white house indicating the location of said cheeto
      5 - three drones were launched, one went to southern China, another one went to the coast of Antarctica (don't get me started on this one) and the other one went to Iceland
      6 - the drones triangulate the signal (because everyone knows ants can't use GPS)
      7 - all the drones fly to the calculated position and crash into each other in order to create a distraction
      8 - i go outside to see what all the fuss is about
      9 - a team composed of SWAT members, Israeli special forces and a kangaroo (i'll tell you why later) carefully pick my lock and rendezvous at the cheeto site
      10 - a satanic ritual is performed around the cheeto
      11 - the cheeto is taken to a top secret location that i know but just don't feel like telling you
      12 - it is placed in cryogenic conditions to preserve it in the best way
      13 - the queen of England smokes a joint (in her reptile form of course)
      14 - the queen gets the munchies
      15 - the cheeto is ever-so-carefully transported to her vicinity where it is placed in the center of a pentagram
      16 - the queen eats the cheeto
      17 - illuminati confirmed.

    As I was walking with my youngest brother across the Bow River in Calgary Alberta one winter in order to get to school quicker, I fell through the ice and was slowly being dragged under by the fast current.
    I was flailing and scraping against the ice surface to stay above, instead of being dragged under.
    During this panic, I threw my abnormally long hand knitted scarf that I received as a gift from a relative that I do not remember (must have thought I was 7 feet tall or something), to my brother, telling him to grab onto it, hold it tight and dig his feet into the ice, until I finally pulled myself out.
    It was still my favorite scarf, since it was warm and I could wrap it around me a few times over.
    This was the true reenactment of that situation, but the way i remembered it and told the story dozens of times over the years was vastly different.
    The same premise happened where I fell through the ice, but instead it was my brother who was in a panic, telling me he couldnt lose his brother, and I calmly tossed him my scarf to get him to relax and pull me out, ending with a big hug.... but NOPE it didnt happen like that ........n this universe at least.

    I knew that Pikachu's tail was all-yellow, but what I didn't realise about Pokémon is that Kirby is its own franchise. I think it's because Super Smash Bros had Pikachu and Kirby and they kinda looked similar, then Jigglypuff was an unlockable character which was the '3rd' Pokémon available in the game. I didn't realise until around 15 years later that Kirby wasn't a Pokémon and so that only Pikachu and Jigglypuff were applicable in that game.

      Propaganda? lmao. There's nothing, theoretically scientific about the Mandela effect correlating at all to a "parallel universe". Have enough people say something wrong and eventually everyone will follow even if they never seen the source. For instance the only reason "Luke, I am your father" became a mainstream quote even though it was wrong is because "No, I am your father" isn't as recognizable without context. Just like if a company purposely misspells their product as "Froot loops" for decades and everyone refers to them as fruit loops, eventually everyone will just think they are literally fruit loops.

      TH-cam is a global network of servers, that share information. As it seems, views are gathered locally and then shared with the network later, while likes seem to be registered at a central service. That seems to cause views and comments to load in later than likes.
      There are tons of examples where people debate who was first, because when they commented, they didn't see any comment, even though someone had posted one a couple minutes ago. It's quite usual for comments to take 5-10 minutes to show globally. I think the same is true for views in general. Only likes are faster, that's why they often seem mismatched.

    I have experienced some of these. There was a song that I heard frequently as a child. For some reason that I don't remember I didn't hear it for a really long time - 10 some odd years. When I heard it again, it didn't sound like I remembered it. The song hadn't changed - my memory of it had and since my memory was all I had to go on for the years I didn't hear the song, the change created in my head remained. Oh, I also have a movie qoute that isn't actually a movie qoute because Humphrey Bogart never said "Play it again, Sam" in "Casablanca".

    Another movie misquote is "Play it again Sam." Neither Humphrey Bogart nor Ingrid Bergman ever said this.
