in the Railway series, (the books that Thomas and Friend's is based on) it's stated in the story Bad Look-Out that only the metal was used, no bones mentioned. also, in the books and in the TV show (until the reboots we don't talk about), they cannot move with out a Driver and Fireman or Trucks pushing them, in the story "Thomas Comes to Breakfast" a cleaner fiddles with his controls. no self moving.

Especially when you consider that Genie repeatedly tells Aladdin to tell Jasmine the truth which is that he isn't actually a prince but a normal person pretending to be one so that he can be with her. there was a Live Action Thomas Movie, though not quite how we think. "Thomas and the Magic Railroad" was my favorite as a kid. and Yes, the lost engine didn't have a face, yet when Thomas breached the magical barrier, he strangely kept his face, though ported back to this dimension.

1. In one of the books, henry has his smokebox door cleared out, meaning its impossible for them to have human parts inside them. They merely have faces on regular engines.
2. Awdry likely said that so theres a simple explanation for kids as to why engines dont actually have faces.
3. Hiro wanted to be useful. If he was being enslaved he wouldn’t willingly do that.

I like the Aladdin theory, it makes the plot more complicated and something for us to look back on with a new perspective as adults. Jeanie even says "You look like a prince" confirming that the only way to become a prince is to marry Jasmine, another hard rule along with; no resurrecting the dead and no love manipulation.

HOWEVER! this plot hole was then filled with the third film in "aladdin and the king of thieves" which the king of thieves is Aladdin's father in which would make Aladdin a prince

In 1st grade I had to read a book where a horrible murderous kid killed off everyone who came to visit him and his equally murderous big sister. From the home teacher who got poisoned, to a kid who lost his ball and got walled in in the basement. Not only did the book traumatize me, but ever since I get goosebumps whenever someone in fiction gets walled in. I mean you starve to death in there. Just kill me and end my suffering instead!

It surprises me that Cars isn't considered popular. Of course, that could be bias because my kid's security toy is a Lightening McQueen toy and he's nearly as equally obsessed with his Mack truck which has an opening trailer containing a full pit stop setup (gas, tires, car wash sponge, and launcher). They are by far his favorite Disney movies.

The theory about the engines not having faces outside of sodor is ridiculous, in the Railway series, we have seen engines with faces outside of Sodor, despite never going there. Also the fat controller doesn't inslave the trains, they WANT to work, engines don't have free will (like a human), they are man oparated machines, they want to have a fullfilling carrier, serving the railway, think of them like dogs (dogs do not have free will, they just want to be taken care of), but with the intelegence of a human. The fat controller knows this and he wants to save as many as he could, so they would be saved from scrap (which is one way how an engine can pass away), he looks at them as his family, he would never scrap them and he only punishes engines, when they go out of line (like in "no joke for james", where James lied to thomas to get the express). Also I don't want you to take it personally, I just want to give my oppinion about it, if you did I'm sorry about it.
There was an episode of Pinky and the Brain where Pinky strait up gifts Brain world domination, but Brain lost his mind thinking it was all some kind of bad joke. Prety sure it would have to be some kind of Genius to pull that off.
Pinky is a true friend, and yet, Brain takes him for granted.

Also in this movie, one of the major characters, Lady, was a fairly normal train until transporting to Thomas’s world so that theory may hold some evidence about them losing their faces.

My kid. As a 3-6 year old, my kid LOVED cars. He's watch the first movie over and over again. He had toys from it and just genuinely got entranced by it every time he watched. He also LOVED Thomas. He had SO many Thomas toys. He loved building and anything vehicle related. He would lay on the ground, face flat on the floor so he could observe the wheels rolling. Then again, this is coming from a kid who could take apart a chair before he could even walk. We full on had to throw out the chair because no matter how much we tightened it's screws and bolts, his tiny little fingers would get ahold of them, and we would have to take the chair away so it wouldn't crack down on him. I'm not even exaggerating. That chair became a hazard both for him and anyone brave or ignorant enough to sit on it.

Have we not learned from mostamzingtop10 since they made the same mistake and henry was let out, topham is a father figure, magic railroad exists and when thomas leaves sodor in journey beyond sodors he still has a face.
But Magic Railroad isn't canon.
My son was sick at 4:30 this morning, crying and screaming in his bed, so I took him to my bed to watch a movie, rub his belly, and calm down. We ended up watching that DC Super Pets movie (def recommend, btw) and one of the main characters is also a former rodent lab test subject. Interesting that the premise is becoming so common. My kid was fine and went back to his own bed at 6am btw (he was getting a little hyper and hasn't slept anywhere but his own bed in the 3 years since I took him in, otherwise he could've slept in my bed).
My childhood was already ruined. Depression at 11 tends to do that, but then, it was a bad joke i told. I do also have my own theory about the Pokemon universe. They don't get in debt over Pokemon and human healthcare because they live in an alternative version of Europe, where we do have free healthcare, but that's just a theory, a film theory. That's probably copy-righted by MatPat
I lived in Medina NY for about half of my school-aged life and was only a block and a half away from the "railroad museum". When I was in high school they started doing "Day Out With Thomas" and would have a Thomas engine brought in for 2 weekend and attach it to the back of an actual train. Then, every hour on the hour, they'd announce "here comes Thomas boys and girls!" or "say goodbye to Thomas, boys and girls!" and they'd drag it down the track and back (literally drove it one way and then straight back up the track in the other direction). You could get tickets and ride the train (notably NOT in the Thomas part) and it was extortionately expensive. They'd also have tents set up with activities (many free ones in the early years), overpriced merchandise, and overpriced food. It used to be free to enter with you just paying for tickets/merch/food but it's become a money grab. I liked taking my Thomas-obsessed nephew but hated that loudspeaker announcement and train whistle when I was trying to sleep to work second shift. Thomas was not only creepy to me, but annoying af!
The Thomas part is just pure stupidity, like litterally:
They're railway vehicles, the Fat Director never threatened to scrap anybody in the whole series, the scrap engines in the background are only purely for decoration. And there are Railway Series books where there are living railway vehicles outside of the Island of Sodor, and those engines are being scrapped.
Other things is that in a technical sense the engines can run themselves, but the thing was that Rail Vehicular Equipment need human staff to operate, so their self-dependency is probably non-existent, and like real world steam locomotives. Their need their boilers washed, and there was also a book by the creator themselves where the engines leave the Sodor Islands for a railway show.
About the Nurse Joy theory... JOY IS THE SURNAME. Same for Officer Jenny. You dont see A nurse in a hospital with their First name on the tag, its ALWAYS the surname. Such as Nurse Jones, Nurse Peterson, Nurse Greene, etc.
The Nurses in the pokemon world are all from the JOY FAMILY... SIMPLE COMMON SENSE.

When you compare the Darksouls timeline to almost any other timeline, you notice that other timelines get easier to read.
Time flows differently through Lordran/Drangleic/Lothric, allowing the Undead to help (or deceive) on another.
This also helps explain how the Earthen peaks were destroyed in Darksouls 3, when constructed in Darksouls 2, while the fire link shrine was built inside ringed city, which was built in Darksouls 3, while its sitting beneath Blightown, created in Darksouls 1, while containing the entirety of The Firelink Alter, at the edge of the word, right underneath the middle of the world.
This also is how Seigward of Catrina is alive during Darksouls 1, skips time to Darksouls 3. Even though we know some parts of dark souls 1 takes place both before and after Darksouls 2, even though they are canonically in the same region. Also this is how the archdragons supposedly killed bye Gwyn escape to the dragon Airie, even though it hasn’t been tethered to a mansion that has yet to be built for thousands if not hundreds of thousands of years.

Nurse Joy’s name comes from her Japanese name “Jo-i”, which translates to “female doctor”. So this is more of a title than an actual name.
Wynaut is a baby Pokemon and thus doesn’t have a pre-evolution. A more interesting case would be Girafarig. It is heavily implied that its tale is actually in control of the body or at least shares consciousness with the front head.

Fun fact: Sir topham is not evil, he is a nice man. Example: in one of the episodes Henry (The same engine who was bricked up in a tunnel and let out after) had a small firebox causing him to not work properly so Sir topham got welsh coal for Henry to make him feel better and work properly until giving Henry a rebuild after an accident in the episode "The flying kipper"

Regarding Pinky and the Brain, there was once an episode where Brain took a break from his efforts at world domination, and ended up briefly taking over the world. Despite his usual villainous behavior, in that episode he actually proved to be an excellent leader who improved conditions wherever he went. Of course it all fell apart once people realized he was a mouse (which you'd think would be fairly obvious from the start). Although there may be something to the theory that Pinky is the actual genius, Brain might not actually be the threat he is assumed to be if he did succeed at taking over the world--at least in the original series. I can't speak for the reboot/new series, because any number of things about the characters could have been changed.
For the thumbnail, that theory is most likely not true. If Thomas really had a human skeleton, then there’s a 0% chance his driver and fireman had room for themselves let alone the buttons and levers or the firebox. Forcing burning coal into your skeleton without even making a face? Sure…

Thomas is set in the real world, they just happen to have faces 9:53 and I am going to be honest I never liked talking about “how do they have faces” or “how are they alive?” And it’s revealed in some of Wilbert’s books we see mainland engines have faces, 11:02 and in the section where he talks about sir topham hatt he butchers any information that had been ACTUALLY shown in the series, and last of all the episode with hiro was just a poorly written episode.
