That chassis looks like the k989....I have tons of problems with my k989 strips n breaks all gears n axles
It's exactly the same. Yet to bash it so I cant really say how it will hold up yet
@@disciplinerc it's sweet looking but I can't figure out what's wrong with mine I think it's a factory flaw cuz it eats gears axles n drive shaft gears

You have to clean everything up properly first ... U can buy after market parts.. metal ball diffs ..

Haha totally, but in a good way. It's actually old Avenged Sevenfold
Before u do anything including charging the battery you should strip this car down clean up excess plastic with sharp knife file .. get transmission running smoothly .. pull out diffs cut away excess plastic grease if needed make sure front rear spun free .. when u let off throttle the wheels should not lock up and instantly stop the car. The motor and ESC will get far less hot .. the suspension is probably sticky and tight .. take shocks of make sure the arms go up and down smoothly .. Then you can charge the battery and the whole thing will be far better.

everybody calls it a drift car but does it even have a gyro or even more angle than a normal car? cause nobody ever fucking mentions it
Gyro yes, but only at 30%+ throttle. Ackerman is crap. This isn't the 1/28 D5 or YD2 you are looking for...BUT...it's adorable and a ton of fun for the price of admission 🤘

It would be if you didn't have to remove body every time to turn it on and off ... I am cutting a hole in the back turn on and off with a prod.

Just Subscribed today and been doing a bit of binge watching. Got to say I’m really starting to dig the drifting. Since you’re in Canada, how about a video with a drift course in the snow with regular tires.
Not a bad idea. The snow is actually a rare thing here on the west coast, probably gone in a day or so.

Like your Style, and didn't know drift wheels were Aluminum
They make em out of what ever it says they made them out off .. they are not included. Those wheels were aluminum but the tyres hard plastic . Would like find some real hard rubber .. peasants can just put plastic electric tape on wheels if they wanted to try drift before new ones turn up on order

@@disciplinerc I have the truck as well and wltoys did a very good job on it and it deserves a 5star rating from me this is the first good rc car I got also I think it is inspired by the hoon truck because there is also a Ford fiesta
