Hey thanks! Yes, these bars are much lower than stock, if anything they could be shortened up, but they seem to be fine as is. The way I have them mounted essentially gives a drag bar type position.
The left side handle bar control will make contact with the tank, which isn't my favorite, but so far it hasn't been any kind of issue. During riding and even during low speed maneuvering it's not been a problem. I may end up raising the bar just enough to try to get a full lock. Have you run into this?
@@thegilamonsterrides not yet but I have some similar bars coming this week, I find the standard fit ones a little too high. Thanks for your reply, I will try to post a video once I have fitted mine 🙂
@@thegilamonsterridesnot very well. They had far too much sweep so whilst they were a little lower, they brought your hands back towards you which was not my intention. Unfortunately I had to drill them in order to fit the controls so I can't return them. I replaced with the originals a few days later. Still looking for something else!
@@l0ner1der oh no, I'm sorry to hear that. I hope you find what fits you soon. I did 180+ miles this past weekend and I have to say, the leaned over position of the MBars started to feel a bit much towards the 150 mile mark.
@@gregdannucci2658 The handlebar came from Classic British Spares, you could probably get the, from Baxter cycles too, be warned though, you may not get full lockout. The windshield came from an eBay seller out of Staten Island.
Very interesting bike build this one. Waving the hand from Australia 👍🤠🇦🇺
Thanks 👍 Keep and eye on it ..it'll be seeing some rather surprising changes soon 😁
Great looking bike!
Thanks my friend!
Great video!! Look forward to the next one buddy 👍
Likewise! I'm excited for your new bike too!
The bike looks great! I love the handlebars. Were the cables long enough to reach with the new bars fitted?

Excellent video! Can’t wait to see the mods!
Thanks!! I can't wait to get them all on there, and get her painted too.
Sharp!
Thanks buddy!
Love the bars, do they hit the tank on full lock?

How did they work out?

How is the wind in your face/helmet with that windshield?
It's not too bad, I do notice a little at the top of my helmet but at the speeds the Classic is limited to, it never gets rough.
Beautiful bike. Can you tell me where you sourced the handlebar and the windscreen.
