Hi Rachit, I'm a major car crash survivor and Tata Nexon XZ+ diesel owner. I had a high speed head-on collision with a large 10 wheel truck who was running after crushing 2 bikers (they died). I survived with few broken bones also my wife (with a fracture and my one year old daughter (without a scratch). I have seen truck hanging on A piller(which people consider thick) and part of roof just over my head and it didn't compromise. I'm very thankful to Tata motors for creating safe vehicles. Now I am looking to buy new car as my dear Nexon died( declared totel loss by insurance company) and I can't look beyond Nexon. I was so much happy and satisfied with it (drove approx 30k)
I have all releted photos, documents, copy of FIR, bunch of hospital bills (they cost more then any car of this segment) already fighting a court case against truck driver and the owner
...i completely agree with you Dr. Sahab.. i too own nexon XZ+diesel, it's 1.5 year old now, 33714km done,no issues with it, incredible performance,avg 30+ on highway (eco mode, light foot)and service cost only 3-4000rs.and i just love this lady... complete thanks to TATA.. for safer, reliable, affordable product..

150k Nexons on road and counting, is a great number for Tata. I also own nexon XZA+ 2018. Switched from i20 to Nexon that time. Everyone asked my why tata. u could have chose ecosport or creta E or S model instead. But i think people should stop this and say why not Tata . But finally happy that tata has started seeing success since Tiago's entry to till date.

We own a nexon too,the diesel top model with dual tone,our car too is about to complete 1,50,000kms and we have some minor issues but they are nothing in front of it's pros👍🏽
@@Raj-rb4qk no problems regarding gear shifts,but the drive modes change automatically without any reason,but it was fixed after servicing,also a bit of wear and tear in the interiors like the glove box button doesn't work properly (sometimes)

I noticed Maruti vehicles don't have good refinement after they are driven for 70 to 80,000 kms and engine gets little stressed in petrol models my family owned 2 Maruti Suzuki models, not sure about Diesel models....,and body build quality isn't great compared to other brands like Hyundai, Tata who use more percentage of very high grade steel . Hence I am planning to buy my next one either Tata Nexon or Hyundai diesel model.

same bro went to see nexon 1 year ago and they just didn't pay aaannnnyyyy attention. i was standing alone at the car with my family no one was there to tell us anything and when we were opening boot, a lady at admin shouted that it does not open u can go outside to see test drive cars....... :( ( of corse she didn't come to show us) I ended up buying a venue

Tata diesel cars are beast. But not happy with their petrol engines. It's high time when tata should launch a new 4 cyl or 3 cyl direct injection engine. Their sales will go double
I have driven nexon for 1.2 lac km, I must say it's a beast in term of performance while light on pocket, most expensive service I had was of 12k real life mileage is around 18kmpl
@@Plmsiba no dear i had it sold in july after driving it for 1.48 lac kms. The engine was doing fine no issues however door and plastic parts started making noises here and there which was bearable. Everything else was butter smooth. However I installed ceat tyres before selling else is use yokohama’s and bridgestone which adda comfort and more mileage.
I owned nexon facelift I love each n every thing about nexon...except one thing ...white strip on back side...so I put black tape..now car look good from back side also
@@nayanpatil933 go for it, I have a 2017 model. The current one is much more updated and better. Driving experience is very good you will feel you are driving a bigger car. Build quality is great a tree had fallen on my car and moment that heavy tree was lifted suspension just sprung back and car started on first try and i had driven it on pickup toing van that was sent by tata road assist. Cons: Sometimes you might feel less power in pickup that's because of a smaller engine I have diesel xzo , that might not be the case with updated petrol version Second is engine noise which is slightly higher but it's not a concern Hope this helps!!!
Mileage is great, practically on highways its 20 and city traffic 15 to 16 kmpl. Drive quality is very good, comfort is excellent. On steep uphill you will feel lack of power Noise is expected as it has three cylinder engine, but with amazing music system you won't hear that engine sound 😅
Whatever this guy says is absolutely correct...my dad and I have been driving Tata cars since 1996. Starting with the Tata mobile, estate, sumo, indica, indigo and now planning on nexon or harrier. Tata indica was in 2000 and drove over 150000kms no problem. Currently my indigo bought in 2005 has driven almost 300000 and never had a problem even once. Still gives a mileage of 17-18kms with AC. We are based in Goa and our car has never let us down. Service in Goa is bad so we get it serviced privately.
@motoroctane you should do a logical point to point issues and maintenance challenges of turbo petrols. I think that is missing by mostly all channels and will be very good for customers to understand that naturally aspirated petrols are better than turbo and also turbo diesels are way better than them.
I have so much respect for these doctors. They are first of all very few in numbers and main reason is everybody wants to become an MBBS. Bt a vet is like a god for all the cattle owners. In my village , a strange fungus and fever ,killed 300 buffaloes in one village. And whole district was in panic. And that was the time i witnessed the hardwork and great work of vets. There was this one doctor and he was treating 15-16 hours a day. Farmers were in a panic mode and very few quality vets were available. Bt those very few ,worked day and night and saved the cattles and stopped the fungus. Its a huge blessing becoz if one buffalo dies in a farmers house. He looses 60000-70000 rupees in a shock. The pain is unbearable. And also on top of that the cost of milk that wd hav come from it is also lost. Its a 1 lakh rupee loss overall. And thats why these docs are very precious.
Hirani wanted the doctor to scuff up some negative points abt the car so that people dont call it scripted and review becomes more balanced. But its true i guess. I hav friends who own nexon. And they drive like crazy. And they never complain abt the drive quality and in any kind of road , this car performs well. Nexon is truly #1 compact SUV in india , especially for indian roads. Edit: u gave me a heart on a video thats 1 year old. Wow ,thanks dude.
My Nexon BS6 is 2.5 yrs old and my Odo clocked 1.35lakh kms today... I truly enjoy my dirve day in and day out every single day.... I have never let anyone else drive my nexon❤
@@shubh407 yes it's a petrol XZ + . Yesterday it clocked 175000kms....the only issue I faced with my Nexon is with the battery... I have changed 5 batteries over a span of 3.5 yrs.... For some unknown reasons engine wouldn't start... I had to jumpstart it using another battery.... Mechanics couldn't ascertain the reason... But overall I am happy with the performance
This is what the review is on owner point of perspective. The nexon is driven 150000km. Even i have my Hyundai xcent 5 years old driven 201000km, with no issues the best car which i have experienced. Even i want to share my experience as an owner but i resides in Bangalore
I have seen some other reviews the Mileage is showing around 12km within city and 17km on high way at Speed of 90kmph. Still confused whether to go ahead with Nexon

Hello Sir. I have Nexon Kraz diesel completed 16k km. Generally I'm pro Nexon but but but.. I had some bad issues. 1. There is silencer problem to this car. My silencer fell of which was cut in centre on its own. They got me replaced it but hey it's almost a new car and people r laughing at me for this. Tata has fixed this problem in new facelift. 2. My windshield washer fell of and was leaking. They fixed it in warranty. 3. Huge engine noise. It's ok when u drive it chill but when u rave it, it really sucks! 4. Enjine is not refined and is not smooth at all. It's not enthu basically. It irritates. 5. Cabin noise...body makes noice which is irritating and plastics are of poor quality. 6. Suspension is stiff means good for high speed only and is very bumpy and noisy on low speed. Don't forget it makes crashing lound noice if u apply brake in the speed breaker or bad road. 7. AC plastics wear off! All of above problems in just 15 to 16k km. I don't know what comes next with problems. I think tata really updated all these issues of noice and refinement and quality in EV which is best car period! I suggest Tata should improve quality since competition has smooth cars!
I went for nexon trail drive ... it was fine but engine sound was high inside the cabine , also i found the sunroof switch malfunction...Also the quality of inside plastic is not upto marked no space for mobile..back seat space and build quality absolutely fine...choose this one only for space and build quality...
I own Tata Nexon (Petrol) and the doctor has pretty much covered everything. The only issue I face with Nexon is the 4 thick pillars which cause visual issues while doing U-turn. This is, may be because, to provide 5 star build quality, but I can deal with it and be careful while doing U-turn. The service and maintenance is really very affordable. My car service has never crossed INR 6,000/- till now. The semi-synthetic engine oil can be used for this car which is very affordable compared to synthetic oil which makes a lot of difference in the service cost. Some of the latest cars(Kia, Hyundai) need synthetic engine oil which is more costly. If ever, I feel the need to switch to the new car, I will go for Tata. PS: I feel, TATA cars are the most underrated.

Hi, This is to keep your team posted about my experience with Tata Nexon XZA plus, 50K Kms..of my vehicle. Thank you for all the support to fix the vehicle issue on priority to authorised service vendor and I paid 95k for this However, I would like to understand and share feedback to TATA, why any customer should bear such a huge amount which occurred due to specific product defect/failure? It's just a 5+ year old vehicle that is maintained well and the reason to choose this vehicle is to travel across India in a belief of comfort & economy as I am an avid traveller. Now, this kind of experience has put me in a situation where I may not afford travelling for the next 1-2 years and with the same confidence driving long distances as the issue occurred related to AMT gearbox/engine 😕 where Tata is incapable in owning defective product. I recently bought harrier. The staff was rude. There was no celebration like car cover removal No ribbon cutting No cake cutting. It felt like i was buying a 60 thousand rupees splendor Not a 20 lakh car. Tata is making the best cars but the dealership and service experiences are the worst.

@@Plmsiba no dear i had it sold in july after driving it for 1.48 lac kms. The engine was doing fine no issues however door and plastic parts started making noises here and there which was bearable. Everything else was butter smooth. However I installed ceat tyres before selling else is use yokohama’s and bridgestone which adda comfort and more mileage.
I owned nexon facelift I love each n every thing about nexon...except one thing ...white strip on back side...so I put black tape..now car look good from back side also

Driving experience is very good you will feel you are driving a bigger car.
Build quality is great a tree had fallen on my car and moment that heavy tree was lifted suspension just sprung back and car started on first try and i had driven it on pickup toing van that was sent by tata road assist.
Cons:
Sometimes you might feel less power in pickup that's because of a smaller engine I have diesel xzo , that might not be the case with updated petrol version
Second is engine noise which is slightly higher but it's not a concern

Mileage is great, practically on highways its 20 and city traffic 15 to 16 kmpl.
Drive quality is very good, comfort is excellent.
On steep uphill you will feel lack of power

Whatever this guy says is absolutely correct...my dad and I have been driving Tata cars since 1996. Starting with the Tata mobile, estate, sumo, indica, indigo and now planning on nexon or harrier. Tata indica was in 2000 and drove over 150000kms no problem. Currently my indigo bought in 2005 has driven almost 300000 and never had a problem even once. Still gives a mileage of 17-18kms with AC. We are based in Goa and our car has never let us down. Service in Goa is bad so we get it serviced privately.
Tata cars are like Hyundai driving at a cost of Maruti maintenance 💯

@motoroctane you should do a logical point to point issues and maintenance challenges of turbo petrols. I think that is missing by mostly all channels and will be very good for customers to understand that naturally aspirated petrols are better than turbo and also turbo diesels are way better than them.

I have so much respect for these doctors. They are first of all very few in numbers and main reason is everybody wants to become an MBBS. Bt a vet is like a god for all the cattle owners.
In my village , a strange fungus and fever ,killed 300 buffaloes in one village. And whole district was in panic.
And that was the time i witnessed the hardwork and great work of vets. There was this one doctor and he was treating 15-16 hours a day. Farmers were in a panic mode and very few quality vets were available. Bt those very few ,worked day and night and saved the cattles and stopped the fungus.
Its a huge blessing becoz if one buffalo dies in a farmers house. He looses 60000-70000 rupees in a shock. The pain is unbearable. And also on top of that the cost of milk that wd hav come from it is also lost.
Its a 1 lakh rupee loss overall. And thats why these docs are very precious.

Hirani wanted the doctor to scuff up some negative points abt the car so that people dont call it scripted and review becomes more balanced. But its true i guess. I hav friends who own nexon. And they drive like crazy. And they never complain abt the drive quality and in any kind of road , this car performs well. Nexon is truly #1 compact SUV in india , especially for indian roads.

@@shubh407 yes it's a petrol XZ + . Yesterday it clocked 175000kms....the only issue I faced with my Nexon is with the battery... I have changed 5 batteries over a span of 3.5 yrs.... For some unknown reasons engine wouldn't start... I had to jumpstart it using another battery.... Mechanics couldn't ascertain the reason... But overall I am happy with the performance

This is what the review is on owner point of perspective. The nexon is driven 150000km. Even i have my Hyundai xcent 5 years old driven 201000km, with no issues the best car which i have experienced. Even i want to share my experience as an owner but i resides in Bangalore

I have Nexon Kraz diesel completed 16k km.
Generally I'm pro Nexon but but but..
I had some bad issues.
1. There is silencer problem to this car. My silencer fell of which was cut in centre on its own. They got me replaced it but hey it's almost a new car and people r laughing at me for this. Tata has fixed this problem in new facelift.
2. My windshield washer fell of and was leaking. They fixed it in warranty.
3. Huge engine noise. It's ok when u drive it chill but when u rave it, it really sucks!
4. Enjine is not refined and is not smooth at all. It's not enthu basically. It irritates.
5. Cabin noise...body makes noice which is irritating and plastics are of poor quality.
6. Suspension is stiff means good for high speed only and is very bumpy and noisy on low speed. Don't forget it makes crashing lound noice if u apply brake in the speed breaker or bad road.
7. AC plastics wear off!
All of above problems in just 15 to 16k km.
I don't know what comes next with problems.
I think tata really updated all these issues of noice and refinement and quality in EV which is best car period!
I suggest Tata should improve quality since competition has smooth cars!

I went for nexon trail drive ... it was fine but engine sound was high inside the cabine , also i found the sunroof switch malfunction...Also the quality of inside plastic is not upto marked no space for mobile..back seat space and build quality absolutely fine...choose this one only for space and build quality...

I own Tata Nexon (Petrol) and the doctor has pretty much covered everything.
The only issue I face with Nexon is the 4 thick pillars which cause visual issues while doing U-turn. This is, may be because, to provide 5 star build quality, but I can deal with it and be careful while doing U-turn.
The service and maintenance is really very affordable. My car service has never crossed INR 6,000/- till now.
The semi-synthetic engine oil can be used for this car which is very affordable compared to synthetic oil which makes a lot of difference in the service cost. Some of the latest cars(Kia, Hyundai) need synthetic engine oil which is more costly.
If ever, I feel the need to switch to the new car, I will go for Tata.
PS: I feel, TATA cars are the most underrated.

This is to keep your team posted about my experience with Tata Nexon XZA plus, 50K Kms..of my vehicle. Thank you for all the support to fix the vehicle issue on priority to authorised service vendor and I paid 95k for this
However, I would like to understand and share feedback to TATA, why any customer should bear such a huge amount which occurred due to specific product defect/failure? It's just a 5+ year old vehicle that is maintained well and the reason to choose this vehicle is to travel across India in a belief of comfort & economy as I am an avid traveller. Now, this kind of experience has put me in a situation where I may not afford travelling for the next 1-2 years and with the same confidence driving long distances as the issue occurred related to AMT gearbox/engine 😕 where Tata is incapable in owning defective product.

I recently bought harrier. The staff was rude. There was no celebration like car cover removal No ribbon cutting No cake cutting. It felt like i was buying a 60 thousand rupees splendor Not a 20 lakh car. Tata is making the best cars but the dealership and service experiences are the worst.

But here we are talking about New Tata cars not old one . The new one extremely good and I am also in FB group of Tiago owners as I am owner too. There no one has paint related issues. New Tata cars are really good and worth to buy. Mine is 2018 Tiago and running is good and has done 20000km.
