  • Located 22 miles as the crow flies away from the Shard, 6 miles outside of M25, at 97m/317ft above sea level, is one of the best viewpoints of London, with the most epic and unique views of the skyline - Langdon Hill.
In this video I go out and spend the evening shooting the skyline architecture and planes landing and taking off at Heathrow and City Airport. I also show you my timelapses I've shot here on my many previous visits.

Ah, wish I'd been with you on this one (so relaxing :-) ). I'm surprised at how clear the air was, usually those ultra-long locations have all that blurry atmosphere in the way!

Yeah it’s the perfect Timelapse spot, nature yet no one there but weather indeed has to be clear, as the footage I didn’t include is when we were there as didn’t almost see anything due to haze

Top video man. Appreciate the effort and view looks insane. Have u ever tried going to Top of buildings in canary wharf or high rise flats at 02 or Greenwich to get photo from up there. That would be amazing if did a video on that or the thames barrier area got amazing cluster. But that few ideas but as usual keep it up

In some of my previous vids I sometimes included timelapses and photos from skyscrapers in Canary Wharf, and if you mean Royal Wharf by the Thames Barrier then also yes just recently I had a shoot there too

Stunning video, Michal!! I couldn't sleep last night so I watched this. Definitely need to do a visit sometime! It looks even better than the Hainault view!!!

Thanks a lot Phil, glad my video entertained your non-sleep night, Hainault view is good too but the further away the better the compression

Lovely spot, thanks for sharing! Potential Aurora location..? 🤔

You’re welcome, well if it’s as strong as last time I would’ve as it went way above and you only see the skyline with a telephoto and barely with a wide angle so for the next big Aurora I’d go somewhere south but close to the city
