Car needs to be warmed up, and have driven at least 6 miles before activating the first LC. You also can't enable it multiple times in a row. It has a cool-down period before it will let you do it again. I recommend a light ride of a few miles. Rev to whatever you have it set to, controllable with the cruise rocker.. Lower for less wheel spin and a faster take off.. 🏎️🔥

I suggest doing the crank hub matt! I know you did a capture plate but for peace of mind I’d do a 4 pin solid crank hub on these, change the midpipe to AA equal length resonated too and it will change the sound of the car to less raspy and more growly
I've always felt momentum burned quicker in my MPs than shell did, even my Mrs turbo it seems to disappear quicker not massively but I'm sure it got slightly less out it. I much prefer the price of momentum over vpower however😂😂

I’ve had a couple of BMWs and a turbocharged Renault and tuners have been able to push the timing further on all when running Momentum 🌝 so I assume it is slightly better at preventing predetonation. For those who aren’t pushing the tune so far, it’s likely just better for the engine. We get an additional 3-4mpg and about 10% more beans on a stock turbocharged Ford when I run momentum over 95RON… sometimes it feels wasteful though 😂
You should look into how he manufacturers and the magazines do their 0 to 60 runs. They actually do a roll out which gives the cars an advantage we don't give them in our tests. As well they do them on a prepped surface.

Have you done anything with the crank on this yet Matt - I’d have sorted that before doing any tune that removes the removes the cats as that’s a big hike in power above standard - and the crank has been known to let go on the factory tune ..albeit a bit more rare, but still not unheard of.
Drive for 8-10 mins before normally, Sports +, gear stick in sport manual, bury left foot into break and bury right foot into accelerator, will say launch ready and off you go, launches better starting in 2nd gear as well

The Esso 99+ has no ethanol in it, whereas Shell V Power does. Ethanol has a lower calorific content than petrol so in theory for the same amount of fuel there is more energy in a pure petrol than an ethanol blend. It is not always quite that simple but that is the basic premise.

Tuners I’ve used in the past all raved about Tesco Momentum 💁🏻♂️… gotta get that GTS TCU software now Mat - to extract the beans!

It's not all the same.... Esso has no ethanol in it despite saying its got 5%. Its a big thing on the Aston forums.

The Duel clutch gives a 10 minute cool down period before you can launch it again, as it is protecting the gearbox from overheating

Evil gt did exactly the same thing with an m2 comp and put the down pipes back on coz it sounded too loud and very chavvy.
