@faithfulfarmadventures It's great that you are considering keeping your chevy. We are considering buying a 1990s chevy crew cab 350 4x4 auto. Easier to maintain. If perhaps the transmission goes out, it's not hard to replace because it's a basic truck. Finding another transmission might be a question though - hopefully we won't have to worry about that anytime soon after buying it. From what I remember, the intake on the chevy we are considering, a fella could put a carburetor on it with a manual choke. and a manual fuel pump as long as they didn't cast over that part of the motor. Changing the fuel injection is nothing I'd consider doing as I am fully disabled do to physical disabilities, cancer, and other conditions. Hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving. good deal on square body for sure. ship that escort to Maine? lol. dream talking you lol. shipping would be a killer price. now.... before taking the gas tank out.....or cutting a hole under the back seat..... open the hatchback and on the left side of the trunk on the inner wheel well there's a fuel pump cut-out switch... press the rest button if that fixes it.... in 2001 5 fuel pumps were $69 x 5 = $345, 2 test lights, fuses, relays, ........ damn emergency cut-off switch.... $12... or bypass it like lawnmower switches. oh.... and fuel filter change? tooless! 2 nylon clips and chand by hand as easy as putting a leash on a dog.

Around here most of the auction companies are still old school and put fliers in most every gas station in the area, also you can go to HiBid.com and search your area for auctions you can also google auction companies in your area and go to there websites.
