    I love the video and it’s good quality! The only thing I would improve is the mic it’s a little stuffy

    Why didn't you use metal grip then weld in pure ptex afterwards? Parafin ptex will not bond to the fiber glass and is much softer therefore will wear out quickly. Also why didn't you use a base cleaner first?

      I talk about base cleaner in th-cam.com/video/g4cJHUrGeJc/w-d-xo.html video. I only use it if I'm in dirty snow or my base is dirty. I use a clean rag. Just keep the content new so it's not repeated. I don't like putting extra chemicals on my base unless needed. The p-tex steps in this video are for basic repairs. If you want to get it done more professionally there are many more techniques, tools and steps. Base welds are sometimes needed on really bad core shots. It's snowing & deep pow today but still hit a few things off piste at PC, Utah. Hope you're shredding!
