I had mine done… the pain was like any other dental procedure except this was a positive transformation pain. A happy pain. It only lasted a couple days but i stood in front of a mirror with my beautiful new smile the next day. What a great experience!

i have had my Dental Implants for over 45 years now yes they did have Dental Implants going all the way back to 1977 no the do not hurt any more then anything else you have done by the dentist and if the are done by a dentist that knows what he is doing and really knows how to put them in and not just syaing he does with out the real knowledge on how to do it. for me my Dental Implants even before i got out of the chair they felt just like my real teeth they did not even hurt at all like i said they just felt just like my other teeth do. even to this day they still do not hurt at all. 1/23/2023

I've already had my consultation as of 3/16/23. I am a candidate for implants. I will have my smile design appointment on Monday, 3/20/23 ...and then, I will be scheduled for the surgery. I'm excited!!!

I got sedated when I got mine. I don't remember any of it. I was in pain for a few days after, but it's so worth it. 😁

How many implants did you have done and did you get any extractions done at the same time as the implants?
hw does the pain feel like was it like glass rubbing against ur jaws or like normal tooth pain
I did it under local anesthetic only. Absolutely painless. All teeth removed and 10 implants put in. All I had was the usual discomfort that you would get with a tooth removal.

Do you have a high pain tolerance? I have a very low pain tolerance unfortunately. I’ve had all but 8 of my teeth removed and the remaining ones have to come out as well. I want implants but I’m so scared. I had horrific pain with my extractions.
@@cruisematt8585 Probably higher than a lot of people, but have had extractions in Australia in the past and suffered. Zero pain in India. Just a little discomfort afterwards. They give good drugs!
No they don't. I have 4implants put on in 2 sessions. Zero pain, zero force or any harsh move in order to put them on. Very easy procedure, pain free 100%. Don't be afraid, it s more easy than you imagine.
After the anesthesia is gone the pain at the place of procedure is exactly like usual for an removed tooth. And you can easily get rid of the discomfort with a pain killer. In 2-3 days everything feels fine and no pain or discomfort. The pain isn't actually a pain, is Def more as a discomfort... 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

@@cruisematt8585 yes. Tooth have been removed and right after the extraction he put the implants. But just the part that gets into the bone, not the entire implant with the tooth too. The tooth have been put after 4 months
Just had it done. I had local anesthetic. Didn't hurt AT ALL during! : ) Keyword: during. The pain comes later while you're healing, and yeah, it hurts a LOT for that time. But I'm excited for my new tooth!

I just had a little swelling. No pain at all. It was done with novacaine not anesthesia.

It’s not the pain that would hold me back - it would be the claustrophobia of being wedged in one position with a massive clamp on my face, and teeth, and people over me without the freedom to move while the procedure was happening. I think I would need a sedative! 🙂

If you’re a candidate for dental implants, hearing the term “bone graft” might cause some anxiety, but it’s actually a common procedure.
Bone grafting is a surgical procedure that replaces missing bone with material from either a patient′s own body or a substitute. The human body is an incredible thing, and bone tissue can regenerate if it’s provided the space in which to grow. As natural bone grows, it generally replaces the graft material resulting in a fully integrated area of new bone! Incredible I know!
This procedure is widely used to enable people who otherwise would not be able to receive dental implants the chance at a new smile! A dental done graft is not a complex procedure and is quite safe.

How long does it take to get implants? I have one root canaled tooth that I pulled out when flossing four yrs ago. I have a fake tooth that was cemented to the surrounding teeth. I'm thinking to replace it with an implant. It would be nice to get it done and done quickly.

We actually provide full arch permanent dental implants and do not do single tooth implants.

@@jessikat6692 Jessi, that's an excellent question! Our process is great for those who want to start eating real food as soon as possible after surgery. In fact, we do place implants on both the upper and lower arch during the same surgery. Once the surgery is complete, the patient leaves with all their teeth extracted and implants in place. After sleeping off the anesthesia, they return in just 24 HOURS to receive their permanent teeth! Once the new teeth are in place, the patient is free to eat soft foods (anything that can be cut with a plastic fork). After around 3-4 months, the bone in their jaw fully integrates with the implants, and they can eat anything they desire! That includes nuts, steak, apple, and even corn on the cob. There is no liquid diet required with our process.
But I heard implants will take at least 3 months or maybe 6 months to do all the procedure. First remove the tooth then let it set the bone for 3 months after that all the rest of the procedure .

Hi there! After the full healing/recovery process with our full-arch dental implants. You should be able to eat all your favorite foods! Unless your lactose is tolerant, If so I would proceed with caution! 😁
I see a lot of statements here that are fairly positive about the amount of pain. I went to a dentist for an evaluation and was told it would be very painful .
