    Great job, with the zippers both going the same way it would make it extremely bulky where the 2 zipper pulls sit on top of one another... personally I think it will sit flatter with them going in opposite directions...

    Your "mistake" with the zip will be helpful to those making the bag who would probably do the same thing...when zippers are on the inside they are tricky as to which way they will end up. I've done it :) You always do a great job!

    Well dang! I was just about to sew another pattern when this one popped up in my notifications. I normally prefer the height to be taller than the width but the Clarendon is tempting me for sure. Given that the other pattern doesn’t have a physical pattern to follow (only a rushed TH-cam that I’d have to rewatch multiple times) I’m going to get the Clarendon! Thanks for this tutorial . Hi Kassiah, I need your help with the Clarendon Crossbody bag. First I cut out every pattern piece and now I’m stuck. My problem is with pattern piece B1, B2, C1 and C2. This is my problem: How do I cut them out? How do I line up the pieces to cut in one piece. Should I match the stitching lines and than cut as one or just put butt cut edge together than cut as one. My first try was to cut each separately but something is so wrong. Why are you cutting out B1 B2 and C1 C2 as one than cutting it apart? I have a lot of fabric in my seams. Sorry for the long cry for help. Thank you for any help with this. So confused 🤔.

    • @SiahSwag
      @SiahSwag  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I cut them all out separately and then tape tote together the pieces that are labeled all with B, then all the C and so on. Does that make sense?

  • @melissa8908

    I got an industrial sewing machine not too long ago. Whenever I sew things that are just cotton, my stitches don’t look very nice. Do you use a thinner thread like Tex 45 and a smaller needle when you’re doing cottons?

    • @SiahSwag
      @SiahSwag  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I use a smaller needle. But I also have a machine that is made for doing both light and heavy materials. Some industrial machines can’t do the lighter materials.
