      Wow, thanks! I truly appreciate that, it means a lot. My new video is another addition to the vs soothe2 category: the new Waves plugin!

    Jeremy - which is your favorite (vs Soothe 2)? I get the sense that it may be DSEQ3, which is what I have settled on.

    • @palebluedotstudios
      @palebluedotstudios  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hey John! You've got that right: if you've got the cash, DSEQ is, to me, the comprehensive solution. But! It is very pro-level; requires more careful tuning and adjusting, as I'm sure you know. For budgetm quick solutions, I really like M-Clarity and Deres. I'm currently checking out Phil Speiser's THE_SMOOTHER, but I find it lacks much control over the signal, but you can get decent results. Thanks so much for watching and commenting! Cheers.

    Gullfoss, DSEQ3 and Acustica Audio Dove is my choice.

    • @palebluedotstudios
      @palebluedotstudios  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Great choices. I make no bones about liking DSEQ more than soothe 2, it's just so advanced. I need to try out Acustica Dove. I hear good things, although I've never been much of an Acustica guy. I'll add it to my "soothe 2 vs" list! Cheers.

      @@palebluedotstudios The Problem with acústica audio es: You maybe can‘t stop buying. Since I have them, I can’t use algorithmic plugins.
      It do not wunders, but the stacking of algorithmic plugins make sounds all 2D.
      That not happens with AA.
      Soothe is great. But to expansiv. Dove is diferent but great too

    I miss some serious contenders here.
    1) the one that i find better than Soothe 2= Arbiter by TDR plugins. and 2) Voxengo GlissEQ. This one a bit more complicated to operate but can do wonders

    • @palebluedotstudios
      @palebluedotstudios  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Thanks for the suggestions! This video is only meant to be the definitive supercut of my previous soothe/spectral-correction videos. More to come! Arbiter is high up on the list, probably will do next. And Voxengo also has TEOTE, which I need to do a comprehensive review on. Perhaps I can do GlissEQ at the same time (haven’t used that in YEARS! Wow. ) thanks so much for watching and commenting. Cheers!

      You answered about "Writings From the Surface of the Sun" in another video. I get it... working on my bands newest and I want it to be right (it's why I'm checking out all these resonance plugins), but when a song is this good, a less than perfect mix won't keep it from being amazing... and this is one of those. Can't wait to hear the whole thing.
