That was absolutely beautiful. Very creative. Very actual. Love how you did this video. Thank so much. Gangaku is my 2 Dan Test Kata. But do to very bad right knee. I stopped doing it. But in 2020 I got a knee replacement. So it’s been a year now of getting back in shape. I started doing a Kata a month. Well this is a New Year and month. And Gangaku is the Kata for this month. So glad I saw this. Thank so much Sensei. You guys work very hard putting this together. Just doing the Kata in that way is a awesome workout. I love spending time breaking each technique down. Great job. Happy New Year. Oss.

Beautiful technique, wonderful display of pre arranged fighting . It’s almost impossible to block a punch and I have Never seen a punch left hanging straight out that long, just saying. That said, a very good choreography, bravo!
I've teach this kata to my students. Very challenging indeed. it tooks months and even years to improve their technique. MAIS il manque encore des versions diversifiées, et trop de katas: kanku sho...etc... il faut bosser un peu plus Didier et finir le travail ! on attend la suite, travaille la nuit !

I have been training Shotokan for over 20 years... this is an excellent demonstration of how to apply Gankaku`s technique
