1:40 u step forward with right foot and the right hand forward,and 3times same action. but this action is not offence ,but deffence against the stab with stick.
(Sarcasm mode ON) What do I learn from this bunkai? That my potential opponent hopefully only use one attack ... the straight punch (Sarcasm mode OFF). Here we see the typical problem of a competition-oriented athlete who switches to the "traditional" part of his martial art ... but still thinks like a competitor! ...And it could be so easy ... just take the attacks that are forbidden in competition and then look in the kata for the defenses against them!
