Good evening Mr Langley; if may I; the lateral movements at min 3:00 sometimes in the analysis, is viewed like trying to through away a possible back grappling. Also I see that JKA version is slightly different; like the jodan uke; that here is done like a shuto uchi. Thanks
If I'm not mistaken, sensei responds back by saying, " The boringest place have mirrors.", then sensei turns to look at the mirrors as if the person mentioning "he can see better" didn't bother to look into the mirrors for the opposite view.
Actually, I said 'if only this place had mirrors'... It was in response to changing the positions with my partner and someone saying 'ah, now I can see'... It wasn't really important 😂
Nice interpretations on this form! Greatly appreciate it!
It was a fantastic seminar. Thank you Sensei for sharing these elements of Gankaku with us.
Excellent !!

@3:22 what did sensei mention about the mirrors after someone mentioned they can now see after the sensei had switched sides for the demonstration?
Are we able to access the entire Seminar? Was it recorded?
thank you !!! Oss
