Triple Trouble is one of my favorite games. I'd put Triple Trouble in B tier. Triple Trouble has good music, good levels, and you can play as Sonic or Tails. I do think Sonic Rush Adventure deserves to be higher. It did have a good storyline, the touch screen games were fun, and it does have some good music.

I find it amusing that Boom was not mentioned at all. Maybe if we don't mention it we can forget it exists XD. There were actually quite a few Sonic games omitted, like Sonic R, Sonic 3D Blast, Sonic Spinball, Team Sonic Racing, the Game Gear games, and more.
I've heard that 06 was very buggy, but it did also give us an amazing soundtrack and some of the best individual songs in the franchise, like "His World" and "Dreams of an Absolution". One thing I really admire about the Sonic franchise is that, even after some serious critical setbacks here and there, they never stop trying to innovate and bring a new experience next game.

The classic Sonic games are my gems of nostalgia but modern Sonic games like Sonic Unleashed, Sonic Generations, Sonic Adventure 2, and Sonic Heroes are my main favorites.

I personally did not play a lot of sonic games but as my first sonic game, sonic rush have a special place in my heart.
14:22 THAT is a fun game Sonic Mania, I had blast playing that game and it brings back the classic nostalgia and two new characters Mighty the Armadillo and Ray the Flying Squirrel. Plus the animation for the intro and ending was awesome and the soundtrack was awesome too. Definitely an S rank.

Thank you Sonic and Tails for putting my two favourite Sonic games and favourite games of all time, Sonic Advance 3 and Sonic Rush in decent placements. They are a major part of my childhood and I still love to play them even today and they take me back to the simple early days of the early 2000's when I was born as soon as I hear anything from them like the music or someone talking about it plus mentioning it's name. 🦔👍
Totally understand that. Sonic Advance 3 feels like a Sonic Adventure game on a 2D handheld console. My favorite three canonical Sonic games are Sonic Adventure as my favorite, Sonic Generations as my second favorite and Sonic Adventure 2 as my third favorite. I have a top 10 list of my favorite Sonic games, both canon and non-canon.

Also Sonic 3 and Knuckles it introduce Hyper Sonic which I think it’s a powerful form for the blue blur shame it’s in only one game but it would be more challenging for Sonic and Crew to deal with Metal Sonic who might understand or have some bit of an idea of Hyper Form.
Sonic CD I like the music for Past, Present and future versions and the animation looks so pretty since the windows version up to Origins was made by Toei Animation(correct me)

Fun fact: Blaze's character is inspired by Shantae, an indie game created in 2002 for the Gameboy color.
I noticed that with Sonic Adventure you were Judging the DX version of Sonic Adventure, i kinda think that you should either judge by playing the Original Version, or play with the Dreamcast Conversion Mod on PC
Also Big is kinda easy for me
Big can be a problem for beginners if you don't know how the fishing works. Once you actually know how it works then he actually is really easy. Though his A missions where you have to catch a fish that weighs 2K are not fun.
I hated Amy's levels and her gameplay the most. Zero is annoying and Amy's slow stiff controls do not flow well.

Honestly, I don't play Sonic games because I don't have any with me when I was a kid. I was so young to know everything about Sonic franchise back then until I get to rediscover the franchise in 2019. My favourite Sonic game is Unleashed. I was astounded to see how Sonic become a werehog in the game. Although I know the game back when I was a kid but didn't get to play the entire game, I watched Unleashed cutscenes because I love watching game cutscenes on TH-cam.
I'm sorry to see that you didn't get to play any Sonic games back then. It's a good thing you rediscover the franchise and get to know any Sonic characters. You're lucky that you're still here.

Sonic unleashed is my favourite too
Sonic and the Black Knight was the game that got me into the franchise as a whole even though I was born in the late 90’s. I agree that the amount of freedom and the Wii controls were not, and I’m gonna be honest here, not sensitive, but the story, characters, and most importantly, the soundtrack, was amazing!!! Knight of the Wind, Fight the Knight, Breaking through the Fire, and my personal favorite piece of music, Tails’ Blacksmith theme when you selected the “Blacksmith” section. It sounds like you’re listening to Lord of the Rings music from one of my favorite themes, the Shire! It’s also the last game where the band Crush 40 and the Sonic X cast voiced their characters, especially the King of Games as Knuckles! For that, I thank Sonic and the Black Knight for giving awesome memories! I also have Sonic Mania and it was a great game but I’m waiting for the new Sonic Prime game because it has the first 4 games, just like what the DS got over a decade ago with Sonic Genesis Collection! I can’t wait for that game!

Adventure 2 will always be the ultimate game of the series to me. So much content, replayability, generally good voice acting, amazing sound track, no Big gameplay, not nearly as much hallway rush gameplay. On a scale of 06 to Mania I'd say it actually broke past Mania.
Also the Fandubs.
Weird that Sonic 06 is E tier considering a lot of the fan base have shown the game in a better light over the past few years. I see most people put it in C tier on average when I see tier lists of Sonic games. Also, you are definitely going to make a lot of people mad by putting Unleashed in C tier. Most people give that game an S and a lot of people say it's the best or 2nd best Sonic game.
I don't like Sonic 06 because of Mephiles I don't like what he did to Sonic Also Sonic Unleashed I think it Should be at least it A tier because of the Werehog
@@fotiskantis I actually like Mephiles, so do a lot of people and some even say he's the best villain in the Sonic franchise. Mephiles is so popular that we got a plushie of him not that long ago. Also, I agree with the Unleashed part, it should be atleast A tier.
I hated how they put shadow in D tier, yet FORCES gets to be in C tier.....

Me well I like Sonic O6 only because of silver and I hate it at the same time like how to explain it.... it's a love hate relationship with the dramatic change of the word and game I like that silver is playable and the fact that he has super powerful powers made it interesting to play and the Wii sonic games where my favorite. Dark Knight was and is probably my goto second favorite well as Wherehog was probably my 3ed favorite and I liked the Sonic Heroes game as well now B4 you say */You never played all the games/* oh boy I shure did play them all ;) I just like something else that you don't have a good day people who will hate this comment and have a wonderful day to all who like it:)

My favorite is Generations. despite its bare bones nature it was a great anniversary game with remixes of the best songs from all the sonic games and the best stages in the franchise with.

Me: THANK you Sonic. I want to see more of Team Dimension as a trio, it's been a while since we have seen Marine. I wish Sonic Rush Adventure was higher because I loved the idea of it being in Blaze's dimension but if you're blaming it on Eggman Nega then okay but still.
My favorite is Sonic Colors. I love the cutscenes from it and it has my favorite sonic song (that was produced by Sega) note I only played ultimate but their kinda the same. Also Tails and sonic hi. You two are my favorite duo ever sega really nailed “unbreakable bond” for you two. And also Tails you my favorite.
I agree with this tier list of these awesome Sonic Games, I especially love the Sonic CD one where they introduced Amy Rose and Metal Sonic! All of these games on these tier list are awesome, except for Sonic the Hedgehog 2006 and I feel bad for Sonic.🤩🥺

I might be one of the minors when I say this but Sonic 06 was a personal favorite for me. Despite the glitches and the fairly crappy ending of the storyline, I loved the character development of everyone. Sonic looks older and mature, and Shadow was quite calm and collected. I just didn't like Silver too much. Could've been way better. It may just be the nostalgia for me. Played it a lot as a kid, and even more when I play it the kid in me is still there. I'd say tier C. Also I think Sonic Rush should be an A, and SA2 and Sonic Heroes in S

I love the one called Sonic Adventure 2! I loved the second act of Green Hill! The best part about that is the music for act 2! I loved that game when I was a kid.
I'm sad 06 and Unleashed weren't ranked higher, I think the music, locations and stories showed how amazing sonic games could be.

I kinda wish we will get sonic adventure 3 featuring sonic,silver,shadow, like having a villian who has the ability of all three plus giving tails a bit more confidence knuckles ancestors , amy being less obssed with sonic , eggman being more evil and cruel like a villian , and a true reason for shadows creation, a reintroduction of blaze , silver being a permanent member of team like his future could be fixed yet he wants be with his friends in the past , sonic having a more humble setting and shadow getting over maria's death and learning to accept the past and move on and that would be a SA3

Most people consider Sonic CD the best of the "side scroller" era of Sonic games, but I always personally felt the time traveling element of the game would often cut me off from what I was doing to switch up the level, which I always found annoying if I was heading towards something at the time. I always fail to notice the sparks going off behind Sonic before it happens, so when I DO notice, it's too late. Also, some levels are just confusing to navigate. My favorite was always Sonic 2.

I actually liked Shadow the Hedgehog. Never thought I would hear light swearing in a Sonic game.
The only Sonic game marketed towards older audiences and these boomers take a dump on it for even trying to push the boundaries and they forgot that the game is the very first Sonic game centered around a main character that is not Sonic, it is Shadow and he was a character that fans were begging to get more of at the time especially after SA2 that's why the good/evil mechanic with Doom and Sonic allies were so important...how ironic, let's be perfectly honest. I'm 26 years old, when it came out in 2005 I was only 9 but I loved the game these two have to be at least 30 years old to remember the older Sonic games much more fondly which is the only thing that can explain why they hate it so much compared to the others and I ain't hating I'm just making a valid point

Sonic Mania is definitely my favourite. Forces and Generations could've been better since they were considerably short story wise

bro back when I was a child I remember you used to raise chao’s in sonic adventure 1 or 2, mania is my favorite it brings back so many Memories the business finally took things up a notch, it remastered all of the zones like sonic CD’s stardust speedway, sonic 1’s green hill, and hydroelectric whatever it’s called zone from sonic 3 it took all of those things, the legend himself TYSON HESS came back with that banger mania Trailer he did so much he is the one who understands any sonic character it removed the less screen where in classic games like sonic 1 to 3 you have to predict what’s going on next like you couldn’t react in time now in mania it’s easier to react it brings back so many broken things like super tails you have flickles all over the place you’ve broken the game once you get the super emeralds fun fact Tyson Hess was the director for sonic team racing overdrive, Archie comics, and more that I bother to google up, but most importantly he helped with the terrible designs for sonic movies downfall and actually restoration to masterpiece went from mistake to masterpiece
