@@realzachsmith Not doing anything wrong, just calling for a good representation of his faith. If he preaches certain values and morals, he can't create conflicting content, in this case, centered around materialism and money. It's not authentic.
Richard's best content was when he was coming out of college with his focus, routine and faith-based content.
Give the glory to God in every video! Acknowledge that blessings, financial or other, are not because of your own doing but rather because of what God has given to you!
@@TotallyAwesomeToys So how do you suggest I portray and show nicer materialistic things within my content? There's only so many ways I can show a car, a house, a watch, etc.
And no - there's absolutel nothing wrong with a Christian owning those things. OR - do you suggest even if I do own those things, that I never show them in my videos but rather pretend that I'm super broke?

I may not have communicated my point clearly, that's on me. When we enter into a covenant relationship with Christ through acceptance of Him and His sacrifice, we are INSTANTLY accountable to a certain standard of life taught through Jesus's ministry in the NT. Why? The great commission is to go and make disciples like Jesus did, and He gave us the blueprint for it. We both know that it doesn't involve material things and worldly values, tangible or not.
It's up to you on what kinds of content you produce, but as a Christian, it HAS to be through that lens. Nobody would suggest you portray yourself as broke when you're not, and there is nothing wrong with being wealthy. God uses the wealthy to further his kingdom.
To answer you last question, how I would expect a wealthy Christian to live his life, I'll turn it back to you, how do YOU expect a wealthy Christian to live his life based on NT teachings? You and I don't have the answer, but the Word does.
You have tremendous influence, and it just sucks to see a Christian Influencer pushing his riches on us when we know what the NT teaches us about it.
