I intend to use the AI for an idea I had! A short game inspired from one of my friends school projects. I'm always loving your content by the way. Keep it up and maybe when dreams gets out of its death bed..I dunno, lot of TH-cam subscribers.

Good work and cool presentation. AI is such a pain in the ass and pathfinding being especially hard in Dreams. I felt Zombies were too boring for enemies so I opted for robots since they might be still believable when behaving stupid ... These are the design decisions you only come to understand once you develop for yourself 😂
I know 😢 Maybe it's the learning curve and time required to master it. It's such a shame because there just isn't anything else on the same level as Dreams at all in the console space. The depth of content and value you get is astonishing and seemingly endless.
I’d like to recreate the video game from the movie “Her” - the one in the cave with the potty mouthed alien? .. It won’t need much real AI, as it’ll mostly be simulating an AI NPC with a very large table of conditional responses.(smoke and mirrors)
you should try to use a nodegraph type of pathfinding. i've seen it work on other non-code engines [like clickteam and gdevelop], and you might be able to make it so the nodes have different functions [like cover nodes and jump nodes].
Sometimes i wonder why i still use dreams instead of literally any other engine, than i realize that im too stupid to learn how to code

coding is easier imo in comparison to dreams visual scripting.
