It's very sleek but does have such a lifeless look. There's zero personal effects on show and even less art and culture in those massive spaces. Call me old fashioned but I love interiors that feel like they express the inner life of the owner, hoping their interior life is a bit less beige and grey.
Absolutely amazing job, Carly and NW3 always seem to pull it out the bag and get the job done, even the little details . Looks great, love to know where the large format rugs are from!
Regarding the comments about this home feeling 'cold': this is primarily due to the camera settings, not the actual ambiance of the space. The photos were intentionally underexposed to avoid window glare and harsh shadows from lighting equipment. Having spoken with Carly and her team, they confirmed that Farrow & Ball’s Skimming Stone in Dead Flat was used extensively throughout the home. This paint choice creates an inviting and sophisticated atmosphere in real life. However, the photos show rooms with minimal lighting, likely compounded by north-facing windows that limit natural light. Large, elongated rooms like these naturally require more lighting to feel bright and airy. When properly illuminated, the home would look entirely different. I have a similar home and find that lighting plays a critical role in bringing out the full effect of the design. Interior color schemes are designed as a foundation to be complemented by accessories like art, flowers, and cushions, which add warmth and personality. As a space intended to evoke calm and tranquility, the design team has truly succeeded.
It’s a little one note for me considering the brief was something like traditional, modern, old, contemporary, different, same, dark, light or whatever. It’s a handsome building nicely done although a bit safe. Why the fascination with female light designers?
Agree totally and that particular female designed mesh light fixture just after 8 minutes into the video is extremely impractical to unhygienic levels. It will be a great uncleanable dust and debris magnet. I feel like sneezing just looking at it.
Client sounds crazy. Not great use of space or color and lighting does not create warmth. I would have liked to learn more about the flooring choices as well, which seem very well done
Perfection. Exquisite. Delicate but strong. Soothing but evokes strong feelings.
Very beautiful! I appreciate the cohesiveness. The office is a wonderful surprise and I really love the entrance to the dining room
This is so beautiful!
This house is awesome 👌 well done!! Completely stunning 🎉❤❤❤

😂 chromophobia
Cette maison m inspire la paix ,la douceur surtout les couleurs claires et apaisantes. L ambiance est chaleureuse.
Beautifully done❤

But… but where’s the color 🥲
In your house
Ah bon!
What is wrong with some colour in the house. This way it looks plain and boring.
@@wimvanuytrecht1704 I think it looks better without too many colours.
She did say it in the video… it was so as to allow the clients fill the spaces with their own decorative colour preferences as they used the home.
There is some color in the home, but it is subtle. Contrast and texture add interest.
Perfect home for Frau Farbissina
Individually everything is stunning, but curated together the atmosphere is lifeless and at times too corporate.

Boring the black and gray
