I wish there was more colour and an charismatic character to the colours palette. In some areas it felt like an hotel or business lounge. Some more playfulness with textures, colour and craftsmanship like in the bathroom or with the wallpapers would make it perfect for a family space that's elegant and personal (intimate).
Wow what an amazing property! I love the flow through the entire home not an easy feat on such a scale. Well done NW3 interiors, it’s beautifully crafted
it looks amazing 100%, but it sadly is the opposite of a sleeping space that gives you rest subconsciously from a feng shui perspective - having the door right behind you + all the electrics in the headboard right next to your brains will have its impact - they’ll probably never quite know why unless the change the layout to see the difference
Beautifully presented, i liked the way how she plays with the staircase handle and reassures how comfortable that is been designed. Other than that too much space wasted at kitchen, which looks so empty and there is a flaw i have noticed within 3 mins of this video, a toilet without a window is such a misery! espically when it is placed next to the kitchen itself is a bad idea!
NW3 interiors what a amazing home interior you've create, absolutely beautiful! I have watched this 3 times already, so much beautiful detail, Carly Madhvani has a sublime eye for sheer beauty, fresh & exciting interior 💕
The kitchen sink seems so oddly placed and/or the layout of that marble slab. Why would someone want to stare at a wall when doing dishes when they could be looking out the window? Maybe there's a reason but I would have put a big window in front of the sink.
The windows needed to be as per the original home due to conservation consent. The client wanted a large sink from dishes from their fave meal which is a roast. We were therefore left without an option than to centralise the sink (it looked so squished over one side). Very fair comment though and it was absolutely considered, we just couldn't have the outcome we all wanted. Thanks for commenting :)
The sink is perfect where it is - great symmetry with the windows on either side. Plus, avoiding having a tap breaking the view. For the same reason I like that the sink isn't on the island too - having the hob there instead is "less in your face"
Oh I thought you are supposed to me looking at the dishes when washing dishes , I didn't think you could look outside and do dishes at the same time..how do your even see if they are properly washed or not.
@@nw3interiorsltd253 I only realised at the end with the exterior shots and when I saw the garden. I was very puzzled watching again how it seemed so much bigger (until I read the description). The rear exterior shot shows how sympathetically done the outside design is. A fantastic job and a blast from the past!
Es una casa muy hermosa. Buen gusto, buenos materiales, elegante sin ostentación de " nuevos ricos" pero excesivamente formal para representar el gusto de ser vivida realmente.
Interesting to see how different projects end up being based on the clients taste, for example lack of pattern and rich colours on the ground floor compared to other NW3 projects
Interesting that all the wall sockets are in black which is a high contrast compared to the wall colour. It stands out or should I say sticks out. I feel that the wall sockets in the same colour as the wall would have disguised it instead instead of highlighting it. It shouldn’t be a feature.
Beautiful home. .modern but classic , which is hard to achieve . Only thing I would change is the bed positioning in the principal bedroom as I like to face the entrance 👏👏
Gorgeous. That entry needs a beautiful rug. The only room I don’t like is the kitchen. I really dislike ‘stepped’ islands. Also the fact that the kitchen cupboards don’t go all the way to the ceiling…..cheapens the look. The home looks very calm and relaxing.
I always wonder why people insist on drawing attention to the GENDER of someone involved, when it happens to be a 'female' 3:50 & 10:30 .....Why?? I imagine far more than 100 MEN were involved in the design & build of this property! Why do you NOT feel the need to credit each one of those, as you walk around??? I'm only mentioning it because this is NOT the first time I've seen this happen! Females are regularly singled out and praised for their work, while literally hundreds and hundreds of men are completely overlooked!! Sorry, it just bugs me every time it happens!
Thank you so much for this valued comment. You are so right! There were many men who worked tirelessly on this project in many aeras too. It wasn't my intention to only mention the female designers and from now on I am going to be more aware and inclusive to the all brilliant teams. Thank you so much for bringing this to my attention. Best wishes, Carly
@@nw3interiorsltd253 or you just don't care about that kind of "inclusive" comment, whether it is for male or female is not relevant (at least to me). I didn't even notice before reading the comment.
Music was a bit loud today. Interesting similarities in design between this and another designer you have featured. Most of it was fine and well done just unsure about the main bedroom as disagree with placement of the bed. I think the owners will figure this out for themselves once they have lived in it for a while. I didn't mind the bath even with the wood and didn't understand the sound for the dressing room is that it was in case one partner was up earlier than the other? I never even with a wall would put my head towards a door but that's a personal thing. I agree sink should be at a window but that is a personal preference or just how much dishes you do would one need to be distracted not sure. I heard a story recently about a family in regards to atriums and windows and patios and wonder if this is something thought about in design when it comes to young families. A child had a foot burn from slate tile could atrium or velux be tinted to prevent burn spots or furniture from damage due to these roof based windows. I like light as much as anyone but these days sun can be harmful. I would have liked to see the garden anyhow even though it wasn't part of this design surely it was inspired by the interiors. I am sure it was a team effort of designer and the team who built and did the esthetics of the home it's what makes every team what it is and it was done well.
It's remarkable how little soul this has compared to Carly's own home. I've noticed that pattern in general with interior designers, and perhaps it's to be expected. This uninspired cookie-cutter design is almost certainly not worth whatever was paid for it.
Seriously? Two ovens and two hot plates? And then this shitty unsustainable capsule coffee machine? Priorities... I don't remember having seen any of the lux homes with a fancy coffee machine...

💯%. Too bland.
The beautiful detailing of the LED ceiling caught my eye, and the soft colors of the bathroom wall painting give it a classy vibe❤ Simply Stunning✨
That ensuite bathroom is unreal. Best room in the house. Best bathroom I've ever seen!
Hi, yes the silk wallpaper is incredible, that makes it 😍
Havent seen many ensuites then.
love the piano room, office, bedrorom so airy but cozy at the same time. Damnit I love it all, really wonderful design
So nice to read this, thank you 🙏

Everything is spot on. That’s quite rare

👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 The primary was the winner for me, amazingly put together with style and quality of materials
Thank you for your kind words :) Materials matter!
The Primary is easily one of THE BEST I've seen and definitely in TH-cam. Well done Carly and Co. and thank you for your paint colour help yesterday.

So god to see the vanity unit mirror in the right place. So many I see have the light behind 😮💨

Absolutely gorgeous. Very elegant.❤
My favourite features that i would love in my future home are, the colour pallette of the whole house, marble and the tree wallpaper. Simply stunning.

My fave part was the wood paneling in the bathroom. Otherwise, most of the details are common and plain.

The living room looks too casual compared to the rest of the house! It’s like a mullet, cheap in the back and classy in the front.😂😂

What a disappointment, such a lovely exterior and grounds, but the interior lacks so very much. It falls flat!
