the funniest thing about this though was that Will even laughed at Chris's joke about Jada. But that soon changed when Jada gave Will the look to do something about it, and then the slap happened. Chris took it like a champ.

In his book he talked about feeling like a coward all his life because he couldn’t help protect his mom. On the breakfast club he said he felt insecure with Tupac because jada loved him so much and will felt like the corny rapper . Jada always talk about how much she loved pac . Even willow wrote a letter asking for pac to come back to make her mom happy again. And not to mention the entanglements and dirty Laundry jada airs. She even talked about their mediocre sex life. Lavern cox mentioned entanglements last week. Who knows the pressure and insecurities this man feels in his personal life. He laughed initially but then seeing jada face he felt the need to protect her and show her his masculinity. That is always in question. He has a lot of money, and fame but he still needs to fix a lot of his insecurities. It is NOT ok to result in violence especially where you aren’t in harm.

UNFORTUNATELY, Will & Jada openly tell ALOT of their own busy; yes, even deeply held feelings & behaviors, they leave little to guess about. And some of the stuff Jada has shared, he must LOVE her LIKE CRAZY & trying to deal with all the stuff going on with his wife, would make any man feel insecure & in some cases overcompensate in hopes of finding validation. And I am in NO WAY ATTEMPTING TO MAKE ACCUSE FOR SMITH'S BEHAVIOR; it was more than shameful & INEXCUSABLE.

Chris' joke was insensitive. But looking at the history of Will and Jada's marriage. It's really toxic. Will may have masked and absorbed all his pain, anger, and disappointments all these years. Chris was making fun of will’s wife with alopecia that is f***ed up because she can’t control her loss of hair. I do slightly agree maybe he went a lil too far, but bro Chris was being very inconsiderate and to be honest he deserved it. Mr Williams is a legendary, living Father regardless of alleged foibles. So much for bringing glory to the movie..... Not the example to set for others who are watching, especially children who look up to Will Smith. There are civilized ways to handle situations such as this (comedian telling a bad joke) without violence. What a disgrace! As an actor, being joked about comes with the job. Grow a pair and handle it was grace not violence!!!! This is a representation of a declining moral compass in our society. I Hope Chris hires an attorney and sues smith for millions!!!!

Beyoncé performance set the tone perfectly for the Oscar’s, the show was actually pretty good and then Will Smith took the topping off the cake! One of the most iconic Oscar’s ceremonies and an iconic pop culture moment for sure!!💯

Chris Rock took it because he had to. You don't joke about people's wife's with sensitive issues and expect them to applaud you, plus he won that joke with the audience and should pay a price for it. Next time, Chris should be more creative about sensitive jokes in ways that would inspire his joke subject as well as the audience.

My mom calls them crocodile tears. Here is what live is…1 Corinthians 13:4-8a (ESV) Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth.

There is such thing as “self-control!” Especially in public! Will owes his co-artists an apology! There is a right moment and time! The award ceremony is not it! Will’s action is disrespectful to the rests of the artists in attendance! He needs to own to his action, and, the organization has to figure out what disciplinary sanction should be taken!

The Academy and The Audience who were in there looks a like They were tolerating the Violence that just happened in front of their eyes by giving the man who did it a standing ovation...Great !! ..You just taught the world then..if someone make a joke on your wife due to her candition..you have right and allow to do the Violence thing to the person to defend your wife..and you will get the Oscar and standing ovation over it...Hope it was just Slapping not Other Violence things such as.. Kicking,Punching,Stabing,Shooting or Bombing ...Violence is a Crime..I can't tolerate any of that.
