Which world do you live in my friend? A fresher architect in today's market earns 15-20k.. there is very little scope of earning well in this profession.. even people with a masters degree earn less than 50k.. Kindly do not share misinformation..

@@Sketchspectra Well if you have worked in any internationally acclaimed reputated architectural offices like Hafeez contractor, B.V. Doshi, Morphogenesis, etc. with good experience then you have a good chance of working abroad. Plus if you have received a degree from any reputed premiere university in India your chances are much higher to be hired abroad.

Why people said that it is a dying profession ?
There are number of factors.
1st - There are very few good colleges in architecture. Mostly private colleges these dyas are just a shit of businesses for money-making except Manipal and Bits Mesra.
2nd - The skills that must be taught during the internship are not up to the mark. Only students who have any construction-related background family have a little edge over others.
3rd - Practically aren't taught enough for a student's good visualization.
4th - Fresher architects are paid lesser than any engineering graduate student and even a labor/mistry i.e., a minimum of 15000 - 20,000/month.
5th - after 12th students aren't guided well by the school teachers, all we heard about science students is that they either go for engineering or medical.
5th - Supreme court ruled out a decision - one doesn't need any degree to design a building space where architects or interior designers are needed. So even a diploma holder can also do the same but he/she can't use the designation Ar. before their name, if they don't have the degree and license.
