Hey this is a nice Video, about the quarantine time. The funny thing is, i am in the same Hotel at the Moment. 10th Floor/same Side! Tomorrow is my last day here and i can go further to Yantai. Stay healthy!
We brought snacks with us from the U.S.! Depending on your quarantine hotel, you might be able to order snacks from outside. In our case, we could only order extra waters, no snacks :( But I have some friends who had hotels that did allow snacks!
Hi i’ve just watched your video and it's very helpful. I’m coming soon to China so my question is, is that possible to get a SIM card at the airport when you land? Or change money quickly. Because I've heard that you don't get much time to do all of that, they drive you up straight to the Hotel. Clear me up on that. Thanks ☺️
As far as I can remember, the hotel bus that we were on had a machine where you could buy your SIM card immediately! I did not notice any places in the airport. As for money, I did not see any places in the airport (although I know in normal circumstances you would be able to do this easily). The hotel we were at allowed us to use international cards to pay, and we also set up our international travel cards with the Alipay app just in case. It is true that the entire process of getting through customs/hotels/etc. is pretty fast-paced, so I would definitely be prepared for that!
It technically counts as a "direct" flight! We went from DTW to PVG but had a stop in Seoul. Passengers aren't allowed to leave the flight, and it's simply to just change flight crews.
hello thanks for uploading this video, I just wanna ask, how many days did you stay in the hotel? 7 or 10 days? I thought the +3 days can go home/apartment? and did you take another covid test? is that included in 4500rmb you paid? if it's not included how much is it? and how many times? thank you..
Hello! We stayed in the quarantine hotel for 10 days but you do have the option to stay for 7 days + 3 days elsewhere. We took covid tests in day 1, 2, 3, 5, and 7. Because we stayed another few days, we took one on day 9 as well! There are no extra charges for covid testing :)
Payment depends on your hotel, but the one I was at allowed us to pay in cash (RMB) and they had a card reader. We had international travel cards which was helpful since that didn't require extra transactional fees but I'm pretty sure a Canadian credit card would work! Also, if you are traveling to China, I recommend getting Alipay beforehand and then adding a credit card when you arrive (I had time to do this when we drove to the hotel). Alipay is used all throughout the country and it would be helpful to have in case some places do not want cash!
Quarantine can be a great place to study, pleasant and peaceful, ideal for yoga and meditation!
Cool video, you showed me what I will be doing in about a month time in Shanghai or Guangzhou to go to my Uni! Thanks from Ethiopia!
祝顺利
So good to see a day of your life in quarantine!
Lovely! You have such a nice vibe 💛✨
Hope I'll be in china soon too!
Hope you get to China soon as well! :)

Time has played tricks on us during the quarantine; it feels like ages ago.😂
Can't believe it's almost been a year since I posted this video!!
@@wobwobliuthanks for your sharing. 谢谢🙏

What kind of pay method do they accept? We don’t have weixin pay or AliPay, only Canada credit card and debit card and cash

@@wobwobliu wow, that's a long time!!! This is because you left and returned? Everyone has to do this? Buns look tasty.
@@melisacahnmann-taylor901 Any person who comes into China has to quarantine a total of 10 days! And the buns were tasty :)
Hii, Did you pay the quarantine with a credit card?
Yes, I used an international credit card!

sucks that they keep doing that. How silly is this?
