Dear @TeachExcel, I will be really grateful if you do a Part 5 explaining how to add the data from this form to another tab where is located the Database. I would like to know also: after pressing the Submit button, is it possible to clear all the input squares?I need this information, because I'm implementing a database in the company's Production Floor that will collect all the data that the operators will insert in this form and make reports/charts about it.
this content is first-class. i hardly ever subscribe, but i have notifications turned on for this channel. can't wait to watch the first three parts of this series.
Superb set of tutorials. I learnt a couple of tricks from them that now means I want to change some of my Excel documents at work lol. Thanks and keep coming with these tutorials.
Thanks once again for an expertly presented little project. I particularly liked the protection methods you explained. Hopefully you will present more little projects like this as the way you explain things, for me especially, make it so easy to understand.
I'm really glad to be helpful) If you have any thoughts on the next series of tutorials, please let me know! I'm thinking I will make smaller series, maybe no more than 2 tutorials long for a bit and see how that is received.
How about a follow on from this project? Maybe use an "Idiot Proof Form" to add data to a database type sheet using vba. Then, following on with changing the data for the next part and then in the final part, show how to delete specific data from the database sheet. Don't know if it could be done, that's why the suggestion.
That's exactly what I was thinking, and someone else even asked for that the other day; I think that's what I'll do. The data deletion could also be interesting as I don't think I've ever talked much about that.
Fantastic series, thank you. I've protected and de-selected locked cells per your instructions but when I try and navigate cell to cell via my Enter and Arrow keys, my cursor is jumping multiple cells at certain points in the form. Any ideas why this might be happening?
Thank you for this form series! I put some check boxes in my form, and they need to refer to a cell somewhere, so when I protect the sheet, I need to first unprotect these cells. When I do that, the the user can check/uncheck the box, but they can *also* have access to the cell that the checkbox refers to. How may I go about protecting access to that cell? Maybe have to put it in another sheet?
Hi there! Love your tutorials by the way, helped me a bunch. I do have one issue that I keep running into with the "very hidden" sheets. When I go back into VBA and change the "very hidden" to anything else, it pops up and ERROR saying that I cannot change the Workbook Class. Is there a fix to this, or am I not doing something correct? I am using Excel 97-03
LMFAO WTF IS THIS?? where is the data going.. literally nowhere.. you just made the macro pop up a message but not doing anything with the input.. then you have to manually delete each section on the form to enter something new? this was such a waste of time

That's an awesome idea! I really need this input about how to add the data from this form to the Database!

Agreed. How do you submit the data to a worksheet?
What video showed how to get the SUBMIT button to work???
This class is so amazing. But, what happens if I lose that password? how do I retrieve it?
Hi there! I have watched all parts but I think you forgot to show how it’s connected to another sheet.

I'm not clear where the data is going from the form?
