The way they just now changed the title for Barbie lmaooo
What was it before?
@@David12schtLittle Women
I was like how's that movie 3 years in the making lmao
Welcome to show business baby!
Where they only care when you are a hot topic
advertising it as Barbie's Greta Gerwig but all the questions are about Little Women lmao
I need to see 73 Questions with Timothée Chalamet
allyy b YESSS and I need one with Harry Styles too 🥰🥰🥰
YESSS
YES PLEASE
Yesssss
Timmy will deserve it and also appreciate it!
she does not need to be introduced as 'Barbie's' Greta Gerwig...she has an amazing career and has directed some great films. this is 73 questions with Greta Gerwig.
Also this video was released 3 years ago. I'm pretty sure she wasn't known for Barbie back then either. So they Deliberately changed the title recently to get more views.
exactly
Preeeacccch
Amen!
Exactly!
I mumble, stutter, and take an uncomfortable amount of time to think when answering questions just as Greta does. I often feel unsure of myself because of it, but knowing that a person as sharp and wise as Greta does the same is so comforting! I think it’s because I’m the type that values thoughtfully strung words, which means I’m always trying to find the perfect way to put things. My brain’s constant revising makes for nervous and disjointed conversation, so it’s both a blessing and a curse! Anyone else?
Emily MILDNER yes yes yes!
Yeeeeeeeeeeees
The same here...
I'm with you!
yesss i feel exactly the same way
I know everyone always asks for this but seriously *WE NEED A 73 QUESTIONS WITH THE 73 QUESTIONS GUY*
He's not real. He's just a computer generated voice
His name is Joe Sabia
alixe 😲
WHAT
And then the person who interviews him needs to be interviewed as the guy who interviewed the 73 questions guy and then an interview with the guy who interviewed the guy who interviewed the 73 questions guy and I am tired now.
73 QUESTIONS WITH FLORENCE PUGH

I ❤ her and again in black widow, please she deserves it with 73Q, please!! And so as Timmy
YES
@@udasgupta601 I mean it!
How do you snap out of procrastination? “It’s when the fear of not doing something gets bigger than the fear of doing it... and then I do it.”
Anna Sharon that statement resonates with me deeply
It’s a bukowski quote !!
Robina Stacy gotta love bukowski ~
Wow such a good quote
As a 16 year old girl who aspires to be a filmmaker, she is a huge inspiration to me❤️
Same tho, I have always dreamed of being a filmmaker and Greta always inspires me
Same here as a 14 year old girl aspiring to be a filmmaker, shes amazing and a big inspiration as well :D
Same❤️ and also, Sofia Coppola
I'm a fourteen year old boy and I hope to be also.
Olivia Pavlova-Döerr can’t wait to see your films in the future! 💕
Dont kill me!!!! but this is the most natural unrehearsed interview .... i love all your interviews i enjoy watching them. But this one seem so natural, like she was literally thinking of her answers.... the other people seem to know the answer right away which looks so staged.
EDIT: WOAHHHHH!!!! MY VERY FIRST 1K IN 5 HOURS THANKS GUYS❤❤❤❤.
I agree!!💛
you read my mind, glad I'm not alone in this
agree + roger federer
@@gerganaandonova4897 agree + roger federer + blake lively
i hate the ones the sound super rehearsed! this one is my favorite so far
If Greta Gerwig did her version of Joan of Arc, it would be the greatest film of any decade.
Luu Sapphire how can we make Greta see this ? Haha
Saoirse Ronan would fit so good as Joan of arc
OH MY GOD YES PLEASE
Yes!!
@@BrettAllbritton It is! Do whatever it takes to have her see it. Tag her, tweet her and all actresses and actors she worked with.
Ms Gerwig seems like she still has the personality of a young, ambitious girl who someday hopes to make it. She hasn't been hardened by success. So charming.
"We come into this world looking for patterns." Wow. Truly. She's got an amazing eye for the human experience. That she can articulate it so well is such a gift for her audience.
Chazertron Fivethou-Sand omg !!!! You put my thoughts to writing !!! She is truly a deep ruminator !!
Well she is a writer....
Even Greta is kinda Saoirse n Timothee ship.
He's currently dating Lily Deep- Rose
Well she created it
She is currently dating Jack Lowden
i feel like they’ll eventually get married
don't we all
SOMEONE GET THIS WOMAN AN OSCAR
So as Florence Pugh for best supporting actress
Oscars are blind otherwise she would have got like 3-4 Oscars
PLEASE
Obsessed fangirl I'm almost positive that she'll get the Oscar for Best Adapted Screenplay!
Oscars are so sexist. Only 5 female directors have EVER been nominated for an Oscar, and only one has won. EVER!!
I love how she stutters thinking about her answers . This is one of my fave 73 questions interviews ever because you can tell it’s so genuine.
Wendyl0v3 you took the words out of my mouth. Real humans are awkward, real humans take their time, take pause, stumble, stutter when trying to carefully articulate their words, especially when asked a thoughtful question because real life is off script. I found her awkwardness to be absolutely endearing and genuine
It seems this is the only one that is natural and it's great for it. The others seem very staged.
@@cameronleehorace I think everyone gets sent the questions ahead of time so they can formulate their answers. I'm sure they did this for Greta too but she forgot her answers
@@carolinekim6648 i thought maybe she genuinely has a stutter?
The fact that she didn't portray Amy as evil in Little Women unlike others made me love her even more after watching it.
She seems like the type of person who would rather have an engaging conversation than answer a series of questions on camera.
the fact that he didin't ask a single question as she's the "wife of", such a great decision
Because asking about her husband is wrong.
because she didn't need to
I don't think they're married
la mnr I was impressed with that too. It’s so lazy to ask about the successful husband/partner, but so many interviewers just do it because it’s easy.
la mnr she’s not married 😐
Greta Gerwig is truly an auteur. She's still so underrated! Female filmmakers deserve more exposure.
She's still young. She has pretty of time to win an Oscar.
Underrated? More exposure? Are you kidding...
polar bond I agree she isn’t underrated in the slightest. Especially amongst those pretentious indie film school students
She’s gonna get another Best Director nod for Barbie, watch.
73 QUESTIONS WITH TIMOTHÉE CHALAMET PLEASE WE ARE ALL BEGGING
For him, coming soon is The French Dispatch, Going Electric and Dune:
Im still waiting 4 73Q with my man; he deserves it all!!!😫
*"This is a one take interview Greta"*
I LOVE HOW HE HAS TO REMIND HER BECAUSE SHE KEEPS GETTING DISTRACTED 🤣
"i cry while directing almost every single day" i'm so happy we get to publicly see new ways of doing things that have been done for centuries its very exciting!!!!
Weird thing to say but ok.
barbiquearea who asked
@@e50e1 I don't think the interviewer was expecting this answer. He asked does she cry while directing, for her to say almost everyday is just super weird.
Film’s been around for a hundred years, but, I agree.
Boba Fett you guys just love to leave unnecessary comments in replies huh
"Who wouldn't want them to date? They're so good-looking."
Now here's a woman who speaks my mind.
"You Will Be Bored Of Him In Two Years And We Will Be Interesting Forever." This is also my favorite line!!!
Greta should have gotten the Oscar nomination as Lana Del Rey should have gotten her grammy, can't believe that award shows nowadays don't recognize true art
and you decide what is true art and what‘s not? I loved Lanas album and I would have loved for it to win a Grammy but Billie deserved it as well.
But I do agree, Greta should have been nominated. But hopefully there‘s many more wonderful projects of hers to come for which she will finally get nominated and win.
@@padipadi8293 billie don't deserve it. Ariana or Lana should win it.
Imagine thinking releasing the same album for the 5th time is "art". Billie deserved it.
James Keeling imagine thinking that honeymoon, btd, uv and nfr are the same album...
She should cast Lana in her movie
The fact that she is close to wes anderson makes me so warm and happy inside. My two faves!
and has a kid with Noah Baumbach
@@annette2532 exactly
@@wonderland.5 good song i love it
i feel sorry for noah baumbach , she mentions him with his whole name , that tells there are issues!
Kenil Monpara maybe she just wants people to know who she is talking about
Greta Gerwig is the most natural guest on 73Q. The atmosphere feels different. She develops her answers. Not Hollywood one-liner in a rush.
Nah, that award goes to Cardi B.
Vogue changing the title of the video 3 years later to attract more viewers thinking we wouldn’t notice
Greta Gerwig: mumbles and stutters
Me: i love her
She reminds me of Wes Anderson.
i cant wait to be eighty and drag my granddaughters to the latest greta gerwig/sairose ronan film about life and womanhood and relate each aspect to my specific life experience at that moment
this is so sweet,, I'm actually going to watch little women tomorrow with my grandma :)
@@mart8691
Marta Almeida that is so sweet. I wish I had grandmas still around to watch it with.
keemia soltani zhang I second this deeply !
3 years later, Barbie is all anyone can talk about. Congrats to this woman!! Greta is iconic
I think Greta is who Lena Dunham wants to be
I want her to do a “modern” adaptation for a Jane Austen film.
Real Mexican Food Shouldn't Give You Diarrhea i’m sorry but your username is... special 🤣
She is one of the most talented women of this century.
Yup ❤️
Great actress, great director and great storyteller. You've gotta love her.
Melody A I’m glad she’s finally getting her dues because she was the queen of the indies in the 2000s and early 2010s (Frances Ha prime example)
Jules no
@@jc_3679 🤡🤡🤡🤡
LEGEND!!! Frances Ha, Lady bird and little women are cinema of the highest quality.
MM 127 20th century women too
& Isle of Dogs
Mistress America is still my favourite thing she’s written.
The way the title changed 💀
i think this is the most awkward and delightful 73 questions interview
This woman is adorable
Yass!😍
Right I can tell why Timmy and Saoirse love her
feeling blessed someone as wholesome as Greta Gerwig exists in this world at the same time as me.
I love how she unapologetically references things in her life that she loves or loved as a kid, cereal, Mac and cheese, her favorite dress because it was the color of California poppies…. So many time people try to say things that they think are cool or will make them seem more sophisticated. The things she references are so real and so sweet and true. Also shout out to the fab 40s! Loved this interview
I am so intrigued by her mind, I feel like there's so much going on in there. She seems like such a genuine, intelligent person
"I have so much power! And you can tell by the breadth of my shoulders." greta is such an angel!!!
the academy's are clowns for not giving her a director nomination
@Rubi Tas uncut gems will be in the 2020 nominations doe
this is the best 73 questions i’ve ever seen, hands down. she’s so captivating. i owe this woman a lot because lady bird was truly a game changer for me.
Did they edit the title to add Barbie???
I need to see the face of the interviewer, he's a legend to me
Fabiana Pozzobon
sure ❤️❤️
His name is Joe sabia
th-cam.com/video/QheFsaVLhzk/w-d-xo.html
His name is Joe Sabia you can see him on google
@@me-rrrr i watched it, joe is so nice!
Same!!😂
they totally edited the title to get more views and... I'm not mad.
This is the most relaxed and unrehearsed interview I've seen. I love how she doesn't rush to answer she takes time to think. Even though she mumbles a bit it's just so relaxing and it truly feels like you got to know her a little bit.
GG is kind of like blowing my mind. Humble, intensely thoughtful, not Hollyweird typical. My daughter & I are seeing Barbie tonight, excited to see this gentle soul play w ideals & ideas of a Barbie 🌎.
I love how Greta is herself in the interview and they just let her be herself even though these interviews will never not be awkwardly formatted it seems
My automatic response to seeing this on my feed: “OH MY GOD, YES!”
I’ve wanted her to do this for what feels like forever.
This is the only time they’ve ever asked serious questions instead of airhead ones.
No one:
Literally no one at all:
Greta: "just a tiny hat..."
”I love Saoirse” dude same
She's so awkward. Protect her at all costs!
Is it me or she's not awkward at all?
No
I love how she takes her time before replying and each response feels so genuine and authentic.
NOT VOGUE CHANGING THE TITLE !
her saying she’s binging love island makes me love her even more
Little Women was AMAZING! I love it as much as I love Lady Bird. And this is just my opinion, but to have her actresses nominated, costumes, screenplay and score nominated, along with BEST PICTURE, but not having a Best Director nomination herself...that a slap in the face. Greta made that classic piece of literature modern and relatable, but still stayed true to the book.
Wawaawqqqwwwwwqq
She probably has the most thought out questions yet compared to the rest of the interviews
8:12 "a tiny hat... wouldn't you be intrigued sexually" haha what a moment
Gretas voice when she speaks about sacred text as well as her voice when she trips over her words is music to me. I feel that energy.
Words cannot express how happy it made me when she mentioned Arrival omg like, yes!
This woman exudes so much intelligence and imagination. I can tell that she lives in her head; always thinking, always imagining. It's beautiful to watch, really
This is the most calming 73 Questions episode. The way she speaks is more casual and natural than the others
we all need to see this interviewer he’s keeping it going.
There's something so special about Greta. Strikes me as a very intelligent, articulate and kind human. Not to mention incredibly talented!
Such a great interview! Her unscripted, natural style makes us feel privy to being included in a more personal conversation.
And the questions here by Mr. 73 on the craft behind the scenes make it more colorful than the standard Fanterview
she’s so beautiful and unfiltered, there are not many people in Hollywood like her. I love her so much
She should be in the category for BEST DIRECTOR!
No we don’t need other men thanks
Yes!!
If Barbie is any good then she probably might next year.
@@barbiquearea So far she's just writing the script for the Barbie movie. I don't think they've signed a director onto it yet tho
@@thetramp123 I'm pretty certain she is going to direct it.
She reminds me of my aunt who is a journalist. Anyway Frances Ha is really good. Go Frances.
she is so natural and seems very down to earth. it makes sense why her movies have so much heart.
This was by far my favourite 73 questions!!! I love Greta Gerwig and her movies and I am glad the questions were so original and elaborate.
The way she says "The Bible."
hcaulfield37 or Man-hattan!
Passive Agressive ugh. So good.
The buy - ble 😂 noticed that too
I feel like this is the year where we'll finally get a 73 questions with the Guy Who Asks 73 questions
Bulletproof Doodles but what would we ask him? I think we just want to see what he looks like, haha.
God, she's so just poetic in her existence. I love her.
This is my favorite 73 questions so far. The questions and answers were great and I loved the interaction!
I was having a bad day, but then I saw this and my soul feels so hopeful and joyful right now. Greta Gerwig is a gift to us all!
I love the awkward pauses she makes trying to explain herself. Somehow makes her so adorable and relatable.
Imagine nominating Todd Phillips for best director over Greta Gerwig
Chris Amico Funny thing about this is Greta Gerwig loved Joker. What are the odds she voted for Todd Phillips for Best Director? Pretty reasonable I’d wager.
I’m gonna he totally honest and say I think she did a better job than even Scorsese and Tarantino with Little Women. Not having seen 1917 yet I’d think she deserved a nomination more than every other director nominated except Bong Joon Ho.
pjgs I agree she’s good but you can’t say she’s better than someone you haven’t seen the movie for. 1917 was incredible & was so well executed and directed.
@@shonaalannah Yeah. I meant to exclude 1917 in that when I said I hadn't seen 1917 but wasn't that clear about it.
@@pjgs4933 I totally agree with you and I'm glad somebody else thinks the same!
These are far better questions than most interviews, and love how thoughtful Greta is!
its been wonderful to see her blossom creatively and artistically! she was one of my favorite indie actresses and now one of my favorite directors of the decade. She"s so sweet adorable and humble as always. Love her
The Fabulous 40’s is an amazing neighborhood in Sac. I love that she referenced that!!!
I just love the kind of awkward way she talks! So adorable and charming!
I like how she genuinely thinks before answering questions. I love all the other interviews but they always have answers on the ready
she always says the most profound things and doesn't care if the context calls for it or what the reaction will be
strange, whenever Greta Gerwig talks it always sounds like she's about to burst into tears or something...
like gigi hadid
I’m still waiting for 73 questions with Timothée Chalamet
Me 2!
imagine being that confident in your side profile ugh queen
that timmy/saoirse question was weird
helene i think it’s bc they’re always on/off dating (or hinted at) in both her directed movies, so kinda makes sense imo
we can’t lie we all wanted it to be asked 🤭
@@BeyondBrii They're not dating Timothee is dating Lily-Rose Depp, Johnny Depp's daughter.
@@barbiquearea they date in Greta's movies not in real life, in rl they are both dating with other people (although I've been told that timmy and lily aren't a thing anymore but I'm not sure)
@@raquel7413 but saorsie didn't date anyone now
not her stuttering when she got asked what's the sexiest thing a woman can wear....... oui gotyu
she has a husband lolllll
The Snowflake Diaries yes and their name is saoirse ronan ❤️
I noticed that lmao
I love how is a combination of simple nice profile questions and also others that gave her space to have such great moments just reflecting and sharing
Tryna act all slick changing the title to be more relevant lol
NEVER HAVE I CLICKED SO FAST ON THIS VIDEO
I identify with her so much! The way she speaks, like she struggles to get the words out, that's me.
all other interviews like this seem so rehearsed but this one comes across as so genuine
The title LMAO
"A tiny hat and an oversized shirt"
She's a weird one for sure lol
Loved and agreed with her answers. I love a man in a cap, and a woman in a man’s shirt...classic!
"wouldn't you be intrigued... sexually" 😂 I love this woman
I still remember seeing her name in the cast list of How I met your dad. I was kind of upset that show never happened but honestly GOOD CALL!!
I watch this at least once every week ! Such inspiration ~ “You only get to know what you are not doing once, so don’t miss it ”
She's such a boss lady, I love her interviews this is SO not the exception. She's a real inspiration!
