@@dadruben4680 The 15Fe is a very nostalgic engine for sure. It has its place in history - Having K&B 18 available to us is great! We have the opportunity to use a brand new engine but, with a vintage look 💯 Thank you for taking the time to write and for watchn’ 🩷

Awesome overview,it’s really interesting as I didn’t know till his point that k&b owns the rights of toki ,in fact this engine looks very similiar with some nice performance goodies as the concept head ,awesome review👌 I only own one k&b ,it’s a .21 marine outboard engine which I rebuild last year, the boat himself is still waiting to get rebuild and repainted ..Sometimes I simply have way to much projects running by 😅 By the way,do you eventually know if somebody in the game has archived the rights of the ASP engines? Thank you a lot for this interesting review!
Hi VOne What are your thoughts on the K&B .21 marine? I am not sure if ASP simply closed their doors or if some owns the rights? Thanks a good question I 100% know the feeling of have a lot of project going on at the same time. All of them just stare back at me and ask, “my turn yet?” LoL The struggle is real 😋 Thank you for watchn’ 🩷 and I’m glad you enjoyed it
@@a2rc my thoughts about it… Well, Till now I didn’t run it,but what I can tell about is what I technical seen during the rebuild. It seems to be a really well processed engine, but it is nothing crazy about the crankshaft ,also the porting seems to me very conservative, but the crankcase is existing from to separate parts, what is something that I never seen before! The outboard compartment is at the same time also the muffler what looks very nice and also make it a very compact unit ! About the carb I can’t tell anything because it wasn’t the stock carb,it’s a tuning carb from the manufacturer „Perry“ Since it’s a ABN sleeve on a marine engine, the Fuel should have in my opinion at least 18% oil .. One of the most interesting conclusions that I made as I opened the engine is how awesome nature can be,Believe it or not,but they were residues of something like moss inside the engine, how could it be that moss can grow on a so toxic environment??Absolute astonishing!! The only facts that I could found about this particular engine,is the fact that it was bought 1987 in a hobbyshop I believe it was located in California and somehow it was later one sold together with the tunelhull boat „Prather LapCat 2 „ to Germany. In Germany it was sitting many years in a cellar till one good day it appears on eBay …From that what I saw the engine hasn’t barely run ,the connecting rod rings and the sleeve seems to be in perfect conditions…Anyway, just a further poor glow nitro engine which tells the common sad story in which many of them ends…At least for this one it was only a very looooong break and it will have for sure a nice second live in a shape which definitely looks better than new (too bad That I couldn’t show a picture of it)
@@voneboy Well, that is an awesome story/history of the engine VOne ‼️I appreciate telling me so much - LoL, yes I think it is a bit nuts that something was growing inside of it 😋 If you ever decided to run it, please let me know.
