@@Olan... DCF is always fairly translucent because the color is only in the glue between the layers. The actual plastic layers are clear. They are working on darker colors but they are not available currently.
What a gorgeous lake in such a beautiful setting! Like a solitary wildcamp virtual tour of the surroundings. Wonderful video and footage; we appreciate you including us.
WHAT !!!! ANDY BEAVERS GONE ULTRALIGHT what ever next Lovely views from that little hill another one for Great views is Black Combe overlooking Millom on the coast 2000ft fantastic views of the scarfell range, harter fell, the old man etc even Isle of Man and the Scottish mountains think you should try it if you haven't already done it(not sure if it's a Wainwright)
I remember that path alongside Ennerdale from walking the Coast to Coast, hell of a slog, and great to see it from high up and a different perspective. That reminds me, must get back up to the Lakes soon....
Hi Andrew, got to say thanks, SIS - saved me, been swimming and sauna bathing 5 to 6 times a week, started getting bad cramps, saw your use of the SIS tablets in your water, started using them and wow, what a difference - great product
Great camp Andy, love Emmerdale, it's got its own charm. Need to get back . When I did my Pillar film I wanted to go back further North near there. awesome evening, and the common morning mist.....always a good reason for another 40 winks 😂
yeah lovely area john that view from there down ennerdale is something else..yeah that morning mist is a sign to zip back up & back to the land of nod for sure..
Lovely looking evening for a camp Andy, with a great pitch and cracking views, the xmid1 dcf looks the business too⛺️👌, super light and easy to pitch, spot on, atb Mick 👍
After watching your Instagram story (the dancing one) over and over and over again,I new this video was going to be EPIC! 😂 it didn't disappoint. Looked an awesome camp 👌
A belter that one Andrew! It reminds me of one I did last year on High Rigg above St johns in the Vale, same weather conditions and absolute stunning views across Thirlmere. If you pitch in just the right spot you also get views all the way up and over Bassenthwaite too.. Give that one a try and I I am confident it will give you the same feeling as this one did. Remember my friend, dance like no-ones watching. 🙂
im glad no one was watching lol 😂 yeah ive been on high rigg & thought to myself what a spot to camp so its in the memory bank for one in future for sure.
Just watched your video, really good stuff. Dont think i have come across your channel before. Im looking to go wildcamping somewhere in the lakes this weekend and this looks perfect. What fell is this please Andy and where did you park... you have a new subscriber
Thanks for the heads up about the car parks Andy, I'm heading up that way this weekend to bag a few and that helps a lot, great vid but don't put the dancing up 😂
Thanks for sharing as always. I’m planning on doing a version of the Tranter’s round in July and am working on getting my kit as light as possible. I was going to take a bivvy bag but mine is open so no protection from the midges. Maybe I’m copying everyone but I’ve bought an X-mid 1p with the mesh inner. I’ve been watching the reviews for ages so I hope I like it. I’m glad you like your pro version, it looks great but it was a bit too pricy for me. My Deuter 32 litre rucksack isn’t the most comfortable so I bought the Notch from a company called Atompacks. You may have heard of them 😀
Awesome view from that pitch. Congratulations on your recent trip to Scotland, i haven't managed to watch ir all yet but that was some going , well done. The Durston Pro looks la great piece of kit and i really like my V2 1P however my only gripe is the colour and personally i would prefer a Darker colour because i sleep much better in Darker tents. I am glad you said that about Tics because i haven't even seen one in the UK so far but i have spent half of my adult life in other countries . I was beginning to think i taste bad to them little buggers but i will take that any day 😉
cheers olan..theres a new v3 out now which is a darker colour green a few have them & it does certainly look darker..im same with ticks thats the first time ive ever had any on me..i did read somewhere theres one blood type theyre not so much bothered with & i was thinking i may have that one..i do have a lot of garlic in my diet too which i was thinking may put them off..just been watching some of youre videos too youve some nice hidden little spots up kinder.
@@AndrewBeavers Cheers for watching my vids , i haven't got a clue what i am doing and cant even figure out how to use the 2 types of microphones i bought thats why i enjoy watching the likes of yourself and some other 👌
Glad you seem to have dropped most of the walking back to film nonsense. A few shots of you in camera framed in a view, or filling up, or whatever... sure. The rest is just wasting everyone's time. Just show us the views and have a natter as your are doing ;)
Beautiful. Glad you're liking the tent.

Any plans to do a Darker version Dan or is there a manufacturing reason why the material is that colour ?
