The new map is really fun, they really nailed it! Phasmo really needs these kinds of updates a bit more frequently, the gameplay loop is of course fun but after doing it the same way on the same maps is only fun for so many times in my opinion

Yes, but remember that they’re a small team and these kind of detailed maps take time and has to be thoroughly balanced and tested. The also needs to keep the current game updated and bug free.
@@HiznogoodI don’t know how long I can excuse “they’re a small team” they have made millions of dollars off of phasmo. They have thousands of people playing everyday. They really should be hiring more people to service the fans better. Keep in mind this is the first major update we’ve had in ALMOST A YEAR.

What about a map layout that generates a certain number of rooms on one floor? I know they've thought of this before, but do you think an option for a fresh-gen map would help fix the repetition problem, or just draw the problem out more?
I mean is it just me or are the devs listening! We seem to have an addiction to Sunny Meadows receiption bell and lo and behold we get another bell at New Hope. Ahhh, we are merely but simple creatures 😅😆 Thank you Insym and Kinetic Games!

I really really really hope Phasmophobia gets a haunted ship sometime. Not a boat out on the ocean, but something like The Queen Mary or any other numerous museum ships around the world. Perhaps a Battleship? Obviously they’re not gonna add ANOTHER water themed map so soon, but in the future it would be awesome. Imagine ghosts messing with giant bulkhead doors, turning on the red emergency lights, maybe even triggering the abandon ship alarm or something.
Edit: Also honestly it might just be me, but I wish they’d add jumping into the game.
We had so much fun on Point Hope last night. I love the parrot toy so much, I put it down briefly after our investigation, then my boyfriend pointed out I left the parrot in the lighthouse so I went back in and had to survive a hunt to get him back. I almost died for Mr. Shivermetimbres

dash dash dash in morse code is just the letter O (with no spaces) or its 3 t's (with spaces), so I have no clue if there is something i'm missing. Also, in headlights, 1 quick flash means "Check your lights", 1 flash means "Go ahead", 2 flashes means "Hurry up" and 3 flashes means "Danger" so, it could be signalling danger? I don't understand why it would use headlight etiquette though. The ghosts up top are likely a reference to charon, who is the "Ferryman of the Dead" those who couldn't pay to ride the ferry, where doomed to walk the earth eternally as ghosts. So I believe every ghost you see are people who couldn't pay to ride the ferry to the underworld.
How does this have basically zero likes?
Or it doesn't mean anything and it's just a hint to get you to ring the bell 3 times

I agree, having secrets to unlock and discover a secret event in every map, would be neat, and maybe also help to give a lore reason to have these places haunted, much more involving the players as "ghost investigators" spotting the ghost type for the ghost removal team, and better way than " oh yes, family played with the ouija board and oops, ghost appeared". like the player can make their own conclusions.
Convince CJ to integrate Stockfish (Chess AI) so you can play chess with the ghost if it’s in the same room☠️☠️
Doing a fork on the ghost starts a hunt
The glass orb in the rope netting--a fishing float or buoy ball--is not a Japanese thing, although Japan uses a lot of them because they have a big fishing industry.. They're used all over to keep nets and lines afloat. My grandfather in the U.S. kept them decoratively. They're from Norway, originally.
The Glass Ball is an old float/buoy used a long time ago all around the world.
We use them as decore today, because they are a "coastal feeling".
I don't know if anyone seen it yet, but we came across a funny bug with a friend on this map, maybe it will be interesting to someone. I've been hiding in the closet on the first floor (not the one near the exit, the other one), I've been standing behind the door, my friend opened this door and pushed me through textures so I ended up on the street behind the lighthouse and managed to walk around there a little

Literally the worst map of the game.
The sanity dropping like crazy is because most of the floors have two light switches, including the bedrooms, one inside and one in the hallway. If you don't turn both on you still lose sanity

It sucks that people won't let you enjoy figuring this out for yourself; half of the fun of the easter egg is figuring it out for yourself, so people spoiling it are just dicks.
I didn't mind the hint on where to start looking. But people really wanted to just spoil every step of the process rather than letting me figure it out which was a shame.
@Insym I was with you on that. I definitely looked up where to start lol it took me about an hour and a half even with the starting knowledge.

If you go to Otaru during their lantern festivals, they have those glass balls around their famous canal all lit up.
I went to school in a fishing town south of Hokkaido and I remember seeing those things all over town. They especially like hanging those at the entrance of seafood izakayas.

The *Japanese ornament* (the glass bubble contained in rope) is an old fishing-net float, replaced by plastic ones these days, used in trawler type fishing and crab/lobster fishing too, I believe. Once commonly used in the UK for certain but I would be surprised if there were not similar items used around the world, including Japan. No idea where they originated from. I actually own one, no idea why I bought it. It was a whim!

The amount of times people go on and on and on about this Easter egg in public lobby’s is actual insane I can’t even play a normal game without someone saying “have u done the Easter egg” or “do u want to do the Easter egg” it’s like ffs not that I’m complaining it’s the first time they have done this and they should do more gives also new players an opportunity to get a new id card without prestiging

ayooo ive been LOVING your vids for maybe 2-4 weeks now as i just got back into phas, i saw it somewhere but couldnt remember where for the life of me. but the Nvidia beta app filter settings, what were they? (side note i wish you posted more but thats unrealistic and your amazing!)
Missed opportunity to have a new death animation of you floating out with the other ghosts, if you have unlocked the secret on the map.
Big fan of the new map! The only thing I hate is how it takes so long for new maps/content to drop. I wish there were new maps every couple of months or so, switching one in and out of rotation. It would make me want to come back to play more frequently if that was the case!
My first hunt on this map was in the entrance hallway on top of me so I just assumed I was dead but I ran and hit behind the toilet and it turned out to be a spot that I couldn't die in.
Yesterday I had a shade on point hope that did exactly one interaction in 30 minutes. Not all ghosts had an activity buff lol

On the ghosts sometimes being absolutely wild, I had an intermediate game where i walked into the garage to turn on the power, and immediately had an event. And the ghost was being stupidly active, for seemingly no reason. It was an onryo. Idk why sometimes the ghosts are absolutely insane xD
Me and my buddies have had multiple wierd ghosts, had a yurei hunting every 30 seconds and a few matches where it hunted multiple times and killed people without any of us even being able to see it
Anyone has a solution for MIC not working in Phasmo for like the board etc but everyone else can hear me in game?
Think CJ was saying that the top of the Lighthouse is basically right up inside the skybox. So outside the balcony isn't actually mapped, there's just skybox and transparent view to the surroundings.
30:46 The frame stuttering when walking seems to be intentional, walking feels more choppy and whenever you throw an object like a ball you can visibly see it stutter around. I think it's an optimization change?

As a Norwegian person who grew up by the sea, I had to giggle a bit when chat suggested that the "kavl" (no idea what it's called in English - it's the ball with the rope around it) was a Japanese decoration. It's used to keep fish nets etc. afloat in the water.

15:01 I love to see that the CCTV on the monitor still has a mind of its own and they have not fixed that bug! But if i'm being honest it's quite funny more then game breaking or makes the game look cheap or lazy, plus you have has some amazing reactions to the CCTV going bonkers b4!
Don’t know if anyone has said this but if you hide in the tent light house with a parabolic mic, you can see through the tarp. It’s like a wall glitch.

when i tried this secret the lighthouse bulb didnt stay too long purple and it so quick dissapeared and broke the light house light. anyone who had this problem too ? :D xD otherwise i am glad i could enjoy the view from you atleast

I had an idea to make the tiers of Thermo make sense. Rn t2 is useless because T1 is just better, even with the randomized reading, and T3 is slightly better than T1. My idea: Give all the functionality of T3 to T2, then add a passive function to the T3 that broadcasts the temp to the truck, similar to the motion sensors. Might be a bit OP, but you can already get EMF and Orbs from the truck, why not add temp to that list.
I showed this my bf... and i got up and down 3 times with:
1st time down: a sanity of 26 (had to hide in the closet)
1st time up: 26... and had to run to avoid the ghost.
2de time down: a sanity of 1 (had to hide in the closet)
2de time up: most likely already on 0
3de time down: a sanity of 0 (cause i forgot to rang the bell, had to hide in the closet)
3de time up: a sanity of 0 (had to run to avoid the ghost)
4th time down: a sanity of zero (leaving) we made it out alive and that time the ghost didn't bother us
It was an... i think it was a Banshee or an Obake (all i remember was seeing the B)

I spent an hour trying to figure out how to start the secret door, only to find out through this video you need to do a specific order of the colors. I'm colorblind, I ended up needing to watch the video and pay attention to which balls he picked up to match the color :'(

Glass Japanese fishing thing, you can see where you dropped you’re fishing net.
You can lose equipment by throwing it down inside the locked gear cabinet lol it clips through the door and unless you unlock it, you can't pick it back up
I think I got a ghost that threw something and it clipped through the ground. I went crazy trying to find it with the EMF so I could take a picture.

You think the tier III is good now? It still has a deviation of up to + 2 °C instead of up to + 3°C. They basically replaced the very accurate alcohol (not mercury, it is red, but alcohol is equally accurate IRL and common for liquid thermos nowadays). Tier II became just a bit faster in measuring (no idea why the patch notes say it is for tier III, the tier II had a measurement time of 3 seconds AFAIK).
Like come on, modern day thermos are so accurate, even the alarm clock ones have a deviation of less than 1 °C. It takes so long to realize that the ghost just roamed outside the room since the thermos all give you insanely inaccurate readings all the time.
the noises that the parrot toy makes when you throw it/throw things at it are very accurate to real macaw sounds, funny enough

hi!! we tried taking a dots photo the other day and it just showed up as a 3 star ghost photo instead. Is this a bug or is dots no longer counted as dots? We were scared of trying to get a real ghost photo considering it might not be counted because of this..

This map is so fun, i played it in custom to have a lil run around to see around the map. The ghost room was the bedroom which was HELL as the amount of events was insane red room/light like 3 times 💀

You can see that Dev's finally fixed the capture photo of ghost as the camera is showing last image of parrot and not ghost even though he clicked the image.
Previously it used to show the last taken image different if you try to photo after journal is full.
