The flags in the kids room are signal flags used to send visual and non verbal messages between ships over long distances. Each letter of the alphabet has a unique flag and they are hung in in order to spell out your message. The ones hanging in the kids room say "GET OUT" 37:13

those glass balls in rope are old fashion fishing floats/buoys for like, crab pots and stuff. Given that this new map takes place in Massachusetts, more likely used for lobster pots or longlines or droplines for finfish. These days it's just nautical decor in a lot of coastal homes.
The majority of lighthouses are and have been lived in by a keeper and his family, consisting of multiple floors with various purposes in mind. A local lighthouse for a small town may consist of a smaller building with only a staircase leading to a workshop and the cupola, but it would at least have a ground floor where the keeper would spend time in as he waited out the night and stored necessary items for basic maintenance, food prep, first aid, and patrolling the grounds. Most old lighthouses have an entrance floor, two to three floors for oil and coal storage, a floor for general storage, a recreation floor which sometimes included a full size kitchen depending on the size of the lighthouse, a bedroom floor, a workshop floor, and finally the cupola where the lantern is housed. You need to keep in mind that keepers would spend the majority of their lives in that space, so it needed accommodations to fit an entire lifestyle as well as any family they may choose to raise.

An abandoned mineshaft map would be sick with underground water pools sorta like the ones you can find in The Forest and Sons of The Forest.

Got an idea for a little game on this map called animal rescue,

And I just played this map for the first time, and near fireplace (the second one) there is a box of matches with a single match left, and you actually can use it. That's neat.
And i love the little detail - on the fridge there is "friend angry" sign. And in childs bedroom, if you look closely, on one drawing you can see four people - mom, dad, me (the child) and angry friend. Probably the kid was the first one to see the ghost.

You can actually see the lighthouse in another map! when your on the dock near the cabin in the Maple Lodge Campsite map and you turn to the left you can see it!

So we can finally play Polter Chess. It's like normal chess, but any piece gets threwn off by the ghost is considered out of the game, except for the king which can be placed on any tile afterwards^^ And obviously, if you die to the ghost, it's an instant loss or a draw, if both manage to die.
I want to play Polter Chess, but I have never played phasmo before all I know about the game is from insym vids lol😂

Apparently there's a bug when you died from a hang man and got revive using High priestess you somehow only can pickup 2 item and a lighter, and also the nightvision tier 3 headcam just not work at all, i hope they will fix this

I remember the april fools patch notes last year talking about the lighthouse map, cant believe its finally a real thing!
Found a cool bug already😅. Being revived by the monkey paw (may work with tarot cards too not sure) and then turning the tier 3 night vision on will give you the increases vision without the distorted fov or colour effects!

What if a single photo of the ghost slightly changes the multiplier a little bit?
Like in 3x runs becomes like 3.25 or 3.30 if you actually get a photo of the ghost. You'll still receive your reward but you're paid extra when you can actually take a photo. To avoid cheesing the game with this, there could be a cap of like 20 or 30 ghost photos per week.
Btw, you can put the D.O.T.S on like every ceiling I believe. Perfect for the smaller small rooms :)

i think there should be an easter egg where if you get the monkey paw you can wish for a chess match with the ghost and if you lose you die, if you win it will reveal an evidence (i know it would be hard to do, but would be sooooooo cool)
The lighthouse reminds me of Sam and Colby. Def creepiest explore ever. Especially that stairs, they caught something underneath the stairs.

The funny ice dispenser made me think it would be HILARIOUS if we had a map that had an ice rink on it that your character would slide on. You could theoretically outrun any ghost if you got up enough speed! I think that would be hilarious to watch from the outside, your friend slipping along the ground with those hilariously janky models while the ghost slowly speeds up behind them hehehe

The only reason I know that you have always been able to pick up the shovels has been my friend. Always finds them no matter the house, and throw the shovel in random places. I feel like the axe is going to be what they do now.
I've wanted to say it yesterday on your patchnotes video, but now for sure, I think they can just "give" you a lighter everytime, cos there is no point going to the house without it. I guess it's just the loadout system doesn't allow this easily, so they kept it as a pickable item.

Imagine a crossover location that is a replica of the hotel of Welcome to The Game 2, and the ghosts are the deceased victims of doll maker and some of the asassins.
Looping the ghost with adrenaline is so fun dude. This map was so worth the wait

7:01 It's an antique japanese float for fishing nets. It's basically a glass baloon. Occasionally such floats torn from the net are still thrown ashore, although it is claimed that the Japanese fishing fleet stopped using them by the 1970s.
They legit have so much market and opportunity for merch. I'd buy that talking Parrot in a heartbeat

One of the coolest things I witnessed on the new map was with a poltergeist. My guy was in bathroom and constantly spamming his ability. When I went looking for a bone one floor below, I heard rambling upstairs and a freaking bathroom tile fell down right in front of me!?!.. I fleed the house faster than a revenant after that 😭

I really enjoy the new map. I did notice if you have a tier 1 or 2 lighter and it is heavy rain it wont light if you are in the entrance. (stonetiger)

First time try Point Hope I got a deogen. The speed it runs up and down the stairs and with the new sounds thumping hard in your headphones; truly scary! Love the new update so far. I hope they update footsteps in a whole. Because it normally sounds like a woman walking on high heels.
Imagine you could see Maple lodge from top of the Point Hope. That would be sick

Shouldn't we actually see the campsite from up the lighthouse? We could see the lighthouse from the other map. 🤔 If they add a story mode in the future, we may really be able to drive around in a van or something between the maps. That would be crazy. Imagine the devs would add recorded messages from the house owners. Maybe also photographs or written protocols from their experience. And sometimes we might find newspapers, which write about our previous successful investigations or deaths (something like "A paranormal investigation has gone wrong yesterday. 2 bodies were found in the house #42 in Edgefield Road. Police reports, the victims names are: Insym, Psycho. Neighbors report the name of the suspect was Barbara" - Names and locations taken from the game info). 😂
Point hope was well worth the wait. Easily one of the most interesting Phasmo maps so far.
6:43 Did you say Tuppleware? Just a point of clarification, its TupperWare. Its a brand name but has become synonymous with any kind of plastic container with a snap on lid like those in the video.

The parrot says "Shiver me Timbers" BUT i can also hear "Ready to go" or "Ready to Move" was so confused the whole time why insym said shiver me timbers when i understood something different

I was playing the update with a friend i got killed and my friend pulled a high priestess tarot card and it bugged so that i was invincible i couldnt die and i was able to pick up equipment so i did the investigation alone and the game thought i was hacking under my name it said hacker detected
