I always wanted someone in the audience to yell "Drew Carey's agent" when they wanted an unlikely super hero and the crisis would be something like, they want to cancel his show or he can't get a third show or they won't make geppeto 2 also, Drew mentions that to Ryan in this video
And he should have had them, too. Especially considering he is actually a talented comedic actor, while Drew can barely act all... And I'm no hater I like Drew, but act he can not. It's amazing what you can get away with when you have your own show to star in. ^^

You missed a lot: 1. Greg: *pulls string on Drew Carey doll* Mimi and I are the same person 2. Wayne: *bad transitions from bad news* it was a big, big loss. Speaking of big, up next, the Drew Carey show
I'm surprised Diedrich Bader never guest starred or did any improv of his own on Whose line. Would've loved to have seen a Lewis and Oswald moment during one of the games
He made a comment on the Drew Carey Show during one of the live episodes about how Drew was making him do something stupid and humiliating but wouldn't put him on Whose Line.
Its a cryin' shame they only released the first season on DVD. I read somewhere, if I recall correctly, about how the band who did Cleveland Rocks wants a ton of money for the distribution rights and the studios dont think there'd be enough market demand to justify the investment.
Dilly Dally Well, all the NBC sitcoms were pretty much dominating the late 90’s and early 2000’s. They had “Seinfeld”, “Friends”, “Frasier”, “3rd Rock From the Sun”, “Just Shoot Me”, and “Mad About You”. But you’re right, “The Drew Carey Show” was completely underrated and overshadowed. It should’ve received an Emmy nomination or something.
really sad too. It was in a line of a couple shows that were that way. Titus was overshadowed by Seinfeld, Undergrads overshadowed by Simpsons/Family Guy/Futurama, and more recently Grimm being overshadowed by Supernatural and Once Upon A Time.
This is missing a comment. One episode has Ryan go back and pretend to make out with somebody. Drew comments that's what Lewis and Oswald are doing behind the scenes.
What I find funny is that on the new Whose Line, none of the guys make fun of Aisha for having FOUR shows: Whose Line, The Talk, Archer, and Criminal Minds.
Can’t believe you left off the best reference to the Drew Carey show. It was Weird Newscasters and Ryan gets sucked into Hell through the weather map, makes his way through varies hilarious torturws and sees Drew saying “So this is how you got two shows.”
Wasn't Colin's "The beer was flat, so I fired everyone who worked for the company" in a playing of party quirks also a reference to the Drew Carey Show?
This video missed one of my favorites. It was a "Scenes from a Hat" segment and the prompt was "Pull the string on the Drew Carey doll and it says...". Greg's contribution was "Mimi and I are the same person." Drew nearly choked on whatever he was drinking, he was laughing so hard.
Where was the scene where Ryan climbs through a wormhole to hell and gets to Drew Carrey and says "so that's how you got a second show" (it was weird newscasters, he find out the portal to hell is behind his weather forecast board. (Or screen or whatever)
I always wonder how much content got cut from television. They cussed fairly regularly and just bleeped it. There was that one time that drew asked for two roommates and someone yelled Bill Cosby and Hitler and immediately you see what I assume was a producer went and talked to drew that they couldn’t make Hitler jokes. Which really pissed off drew and the cast so of course they made constant references for the whole episode
You forgot one. SFAH: “Bad Segues following tragic news stories” Wayne: It was a big, big loss. Speaking of big, right after this, The Drew Carey Show! *buzz*

I dont understand honestly why he was replaced, whose line only taped 3-4 weekends out of the whole year(friday saturday, sunday) and they tape 9-12 episodes a weekend(3-4 a taping day) Drew only worked on price is right 20 hours a week(according to him) he could have easily hosted whose line again. But Aisha is doing better as a host, but Drew will always be my favorite
Watching these just shows how terrible it became when talentless Aisha was hired. Wayne should have taken over as host and gotten a funny woman to be a regular cast member.
That's certainly a good idea, but I think he enjoys being on stage more. I don't think Aisha is talentless; I liked her a lot when she hosted Talk Soup. And remember, she had a tough act to follow when John Henson left the show. She may not have had the same chemistry with the Whose Liners as Drew did, and in fact, it took me a while to get used to her as host, but after she participated in one sketch(playing Uhura after a transporter incident, "Where are my breastesses?!!"), I thought, "Yeah, this could work."🌞
