      What are you waiting for? Go meet him. Pay your respects. Remember his dedication to these arts is great. Don't be surprised when he says, ''Come, let us train.'' He really is a humble man. Humble men are wise. Good luck.
      Overcome the darkness. Return the light.
      Peace.

    Im a 5th degree black belt and the tai chi sword is my all time favorite weapon
    1- it's elegant
    2- it's swift
    3- it's graceful
    4- it's beautiful
    5- it will mess you up in a fight.

    nice one Master Yang! Your long sword occupies the space gracefully. A few understand this weapon and how to advantage
    its weight in all directions. I felt the calm attitude harness the natural elements that a tai chi man loves to play in. continue all your life.!

    • @stefanschleps8758
      @stefanschleps8758 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@timothyfreeman97You are sadly mistaken. It's purpose is to cut through the knots in our own body. It's purpose is to deepen your own kung-fu. Not cut a man down. It is very practical in that it serves it's intended purpose. It is the scholars training tool. Designed for self cultivation. Not destruction. However, how much easier would it be after training with that sword? To sharpen a blade, and making it lighter, and easier to wield. How much more simple then to pierce and cut? Scholars use the sword to cut through their own ignorance. I see you need much more training young man.
      Peace.

      @@stefanschleps8758 errr... No. Tai ji Quan and swords were created with the sole purpose of extinguishing life from another human being. The meditative and spiritual aspects of the art are side effects of this. Because of this thinking the martial prowess of tai ji Quan has been nearly lost replaced with a shell of its former glory. I'm not saying go out and hurt people but that tai ji Quan is first and foremost a martial art and to derive its real benifits it must be practiced as one.

    He's also going very fast. It's more about medicinal properties with the art. And incomplete without the two tassels.

  • @walterhartman3275
    @walterhartman3275 ปีที่แล้ว

    Hmm.. where's the tassel? That is the tradition! Your energy comes out of the tip of the sword and also the tips of the two tassels on the end. Which makes it a complete medicinal system. It's incomplete without them.
