How To Reset A Samsung French Door Fridge Filter Light-Tutorial

In this video, I show you how to reset a Samsung french door fridge filter light. The process is extremely simple, and it basically involves holding down two buttons for a few seconds. It is important to make sure that you are actually changing the fridge water filter whenever you are resetting the filter light because the light is an indicator that the filter should be changed.

After swapping out the filter and resetting the filter light for it to make ice on the left light icons I turn off the no ice icon but the snowflake above the left light icon doesn't turn on any clue if it's going to make ice?

I out mine at 37band it goes back to 80 and on the freezer side it shows the numbers but the negative symbol doesn't light up

I recently installed a water line from my kitchen sink, underneath, to the ice making machine water line. It's not making a lot of ice. But after I had reset the filter light, a beep sounded a few minutes later. I wonder what that means?

That filter light will come on after a set number of months, it's not sensing how dirty the filter is, or you wouldn't need to reset it after putting in a new filter.

I have the same question. Another video I just saw said THERE’S NO FILTER IN THIS MODEL. But then why would it have a filter button? Doesn’t the ice in the freezer need to be filtered???

Apparently I saw someone say that this model was made with the ability to add an external filter if you want to. So I'm still looking for answers.
