No, he didn't. Imperfect in ways and perfect in others. He gave his life to the music in the world and fell in a few traps along the way, but it was a good life from all indications and compared to most. I honor his memory with gratitude. His death was due to a horrible cancer that he must have felt pain from even at the time this was recorded. Respect.
