    Do you know by chance what the black connector feeds to on the ignition switch?

    Hey bud, i appreciate the video when you installed the ignition switch, and it didn't turn on the first time. What did you do to fix that issue?

    Hey man love the videos. Been getting into off-roading. Trying to decide if i should buy a cheap second vehicle to mod and off-road with. That way if something breaks I can still drive my current car. Or would it be smarter to just mod my current car (Jeep renegade)? Trying to decide. Any advice would be appreciated

      Thanks for reaching out to me! I have been off-roading my truck (daily driver) this whole last year. I think it depends how hardcore your going to wheel. If you want to go heavier and possibly break stuff you may want to get a second vehicle

    Any idea where the black wire with the funky connector that is dangling from the column by your hand goes?

    I’ve been trying to get my steering column to lower for two months. How did you do that?

    What is the switch in the turn signal? The 3 wires coming down the column.

    • @RenegadeHQ
      @RenegadeHQ  ปีที่แล้ว

      I think you were seeing the neutral safety switch. Plugs into the base of the steering column

    On the ignition module there's the clear wire harness on the front and black on the back . On the clear 4 wire harness. What are the 4 wires controlling. 1 constant power , 1 ground, the other 2 kick on with key in on position. What are those two.

    • @RenegadeHQ
      @RenegadeHQ  ปีที่แล้ว

      Honestly I’m not totally sure position of the wires. 1 constant power, starter, distributor, ground i believe

    Im having the same issue where it will start if I have the ignition modgul hanging and pry with a screw driver, but if I install it on the column it will not start.

    Can I recommend a video that may help you, th-cam.com/video/o_pPkQz5YXc/w-d-xo.html. I believe you never had an ignition module because someone removed it, thinking it was bad. Watch this video, and I believe you have a inner linkage problem in the steering wheel. There is a round plastic gear that fits into the lever that pushes that switch rod. Yours is either worn out, or was tampered with and set back in incorrectly.

    i have installed a new ignition module but when driving ithink whatever is holding the key tumbler or pushrod 'slips' intto the off position

    • @RenegadeHQ
      @RenegadeHQ  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hmm I’m not sure what would cause that. But that sounds like a good place to start

  • @sirjohnahayfalcon
    @sirjohnahayfalcon ปีที่แล้ว

    If my control module is faulty will it cause my truck to shut off completley while driving

    • @RenegadeHQ
      @RenegadeHQ  ปีที่แล้ว

      It totally could. Because that’s where the ignition start/off switch is and if that’s faulty it could definitely ground out and turn off the motor

    • @sirjohnahayfalcon
      @sirjohnahayfalcon ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@RenegadeHQ im slightly confused, that 'control module' isnt the same thing as 'ignition control module'?
