When I grew sweet corn, I had to install an electric fence to prevent the raccoons from raiding the field and eating all of the corn. However, it would sometimes kill a humming bird that would land on the fence wire to drink the water drops on the metal fence poles.

I was helping a guy who's goats got out and into the road . He had them fenced in with an electric fence , I had a goat in my arms and he told me I could just cross the fence where we were that he cut the fence off when he saw his goats out . His house was about 200 feet upon a hill, about the time I grabbed the wire and got the first leg over apparently his wife turned the fence back on. The goat he and I both getting shocked he was butting me with is head in the face, he quickly got on hi cell phone and called to the house telling his wife to turn the fence off that the goat and I were getting shocked . I heard him ask her did she cut it back on , that he had it turned off for a reason , I couldn't let go of the fence or the goat it had both of us.

6:57 if you look closely the little girl hand touch the fence after the horse flinched. She ran off in pain as well.

No she didn’t she was probably startled by the horse. If you have shoes on you won’t get a shock.

@@greyfoxblade it’s not about what you saw which is false anyway, it’s the fact that you can’t get electrocuted if you have shoes on and you touch the fence. That type of electric fencing anyway. Also why do you think the person filming let the child “right near” the “electric fence”? And she didn’t have a look of pain or start crying either. She was startled by the horse.

The kangaroo at 4.59 was not electrocuted: it was burnt in a bushfire.

Them fences only Carry about 25 votes, but the amperage is low enough to scare the animal or person. I’ve touched a fence and it hurts yes but doesn’t fry you.

That Kangaroo actually died in the 2016 Australian wildfires. It was a tragic picture that went viral. To use it as a thumbnail for views is corny.

The kangaroo died in a wildfire, not due to electricution! Thats not even an electric fence in the pic and you can see all the burnt grass and trees behind it
