I got back into skating recently after 10 years of not skating but only being on an electric longboard, and I thank you all for the hype getting everyone into and back into it, On April 7, 2021 (Day 4 of having a new board) I have landed my first ollie, I'll be posting the video soon! I'm so excited to show everyone on the Braille app!! You all are so wonderful, I've missed the skate community, stay wonderful and keep up the great work everyone!

Thankyou for your support Aaron! I have been watching your video since I meant met a friend in Wales 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 uk. I moved here to wales since I was 12 year old and I’m originally from Thailand 🇹🇭. I picked up a board when I saw someone skating and I didn’t know what it was untill I made friends with him and started skating. At the time I didn’t know how to speak any English but since I’d started skating in 2013, my first board was “no fear” yup.. you hear that correct ahah. I had like 10 of them and my mother realised that it’s costing her fortune so she decided to give me some work to do around the house so I can earn some money to get myself “ enuff” skateboard👊🏼. Long sorry short, Since I’ve picked up a board in when I was 14 years of age just the coming to an end of 2013. I’ve followed you all the way through the years untill today. Thankyou for your support Aaron for helping me throughout the past few years of skating.🙏🏻🙌🏼

Another great tip I got from this amazing footage is that front foot although does not do much, its positioning is very important to rotate the board properly fast. Can see from the video that front foot needs to go not only up but a little bit forward. It makes perfect sense as together with the back foot that is moving back in opposite direction it creates perfect force for spin the board fast.
Without focusing on front foot my board always landed upside down because it was only doing half of the kick flip part. Now I sometimes get the full rotation.
Now need to work on landing. This is where keeping shoulders aligned with the board through entire trick comes in place.
It almost feels like upper part of the body is detached from your legs and just needs to stay frozen in the air when you jump, while legs do all the job.

I love it man, I was skeptical going into this video cause my days of street skating every single day with zero physical repercussions are long over because I’m 31 years old now and I have 11 fused vertebrae from scoliosis surgery 6 years ago which is why i had to quit skating but im getting back into it now and I will say when I was younger, the trey flip was by far my favorite and most focused trick cause its so captivating in real time and slow motion just turns me from 6pm to midnight. all jokes aside id I’ve landed hundreds of 360 flips and failed thousands and I never really realized how little effect the front foot has on the board flipping. For me i used to flick it harder than my back foot! so I’m going to try that tip tonight when I ride so thank you! Also I must say the most impressive style of 360 flip by a pro skateboarder in my opinion has to be Nyjah Huston. That front foot has so much style although it looks effortless and lazy lol

If you look closely at 3:00 , mcnugs foot back foot makes it flip, like he scoops and then his toes go under the tail and flip it. His front foot barely even guides it. I feel like if you can get that down treflips would be even easier. and i think that might even stop it from flying behind you when you try and learn them. I just learned them and i use my front foot big time with them, so my problem is that i dont catch the board with my front foot, and i land on it after my board lands.

I love the little subtle differences between each of the guy's tre flips. It just goes to show that there is no "one size fits all" method. The only criteria is that the board rotates 360 on both axes and you land on the board, that is a tre flip!!

Easily the best tre tut in the world. I learned tres by accident when I realized that are very similar to a 360 pressure flip, but with a pop instead of the pressure. At first, I was trying them for a long time as sort of an overdone variable flip, using my front foot way too much.

I found that a slick/smooth surface helped in learning 360 flips. I would have a harder time on rough ground. At first since I didn't have a precise proper scoop, the friction of rough ground I felt slowed down the rotation, so I had to put in more effort to do it. Then I'd go to an indoor park with slick/smooth ground and it took so much less effort. So this could maybe help ppl out there trying to learn tre flips.

I know there's a million kickflip tutorials, but people always talk about the foot and never talk about front leg motion [hip to knee] and the pressures. Super slow from some dif angIes would be awesome, as the front on view you usually see hides much of that bit. Can sorta do it mob but the proper 'kick off front' way just launches the board forward.
