I understand what you mean, but I found that it was the foot positioning and technique that was holding me back, so I tried learning to Ollie and took me months and I still never had it, I was doing it all wrong so gave up, this weekend I had another go and I found that you need to have you foot right on the top of the tail, the balls of your foot balance on the tip and your front foot is either behind the bolts at the front or further back up to you. It's all one motion so you bend and as you come up pop and slide. I found that doing it rolling helped and then tried doing it faster and worked. I can kind of do it now I think but I busted up my leg bad and can't even walk but can't wait to get back out XD
I had the rolling out problem until yesterday. After recording myself, I realized the reason the board was flying away/slipping out was because I wasn't popping DIRECTLY down.
Yeah you really got to hit the tail sharp because i think thats a big error with people i also thing most people forget to slide their feet and at the right timembecause they focus too much on the pop
*Sigh* This is how you attempt an Ollie: Both feet on the board (obviously), one on top of the tail and the other slightly behind the front bolts (more towards the middle). Hit the tail down and as soon as you feel it touching the ground, slide your front foot towards the nose of the board. Try and find a certain rhythm towards it, makes it easier.

Ok not gonna lie you learned to kickflip so fucking fast and that is faster than anyone I’ve ever met and faster than any of the pros learned, of u focused u could prolly go pro dude
Are you flicking out? Some people can't get kickflip a because they kick down make sure you are jumping high and making sure not to lean forward! Keep going you got itn
I second everything this guy said. kicking out leads to bigger pop too. if you kick out with your ollies(and always be sure to jump) you'll get higher off. but you need to commit because your back foot will catch it and level it out in the air.
Bro if u dont land is becousenu know u wont land, concentrate on landing on the board not on the spin u will fall but u just have to jump doing the flip and try yo land beliving it.

LeaveJoeyAlone he can Ollie and mob flip now so he can wear that and not be a poser.
LeaveJoeyAlone 😂😂😂😂😂
LeaveJoeyAlone =))))))))))
Now try a kickflip while moving
only makes it easier though
Motorbike Mike you still gotta relearn tho
Motorbike Mike not the way hes flicking that board straight into the ground
Keilan Hickson practise makes perfect, if he won't try it moving, than he will never find out he's doing it wrong ;)
Yeah, almost all tricks are so much easier while moving.
Ok not gonna lie you learned to kickflip so fucking fast and that is faster than anyone I’ve ever met and faster than any of the pros learned, of u focused u could prolly go pro dude
'Borrowed this
'
*throws it behind him'
Not the one that borrowed
I mean, the board is thrown around worse when actually in use..
Lmfao
funny how everyone talks shit but at least this guy comitited this shit
keep talking Jaybie Dayy
Idk your the one who commented back lol
Jaybie Dayy do you even skate lol?
Jaybie Dayy There you go just STFU there's a reason you stopped
juan Shady woah dude your face scared tf out of me 😂💩💀🔫
"I'm gonna learn kickflips"
*Actually learns late flips like a boss*
Troy Records Jr. umm soo that’s definitely not a late flip but sure..
@@eptus7226 it is watch it at 0.25 speed he pops then pushes down then flicks
NOPE it’s just steez
@@4henn155 its 100% a late flip, still pretty steezy for someone that doesnf skate though
@@eptus7226 Its a front foot late flip
4:00 hmm i remember this sound from a special orange and black site
same
i was looking for someone to point that out
Damn yo mind be dirty as hell I had to listen to the clip 8 times before i realized you were making some stupid ass porn joke
I have trained kickflip for 1 month and i can make it spin but i never land it
Are you flicking out? Some people can't get kickflip a because they kick down make sure you are jumping high and making sure not to lean forward! Keep going you got itn
AntonzzH also when you pop and flick try to bring your knees up higher like your trying to hit your chestn it helps with landing alot
I second everything this guy said. kicking out leads to bigger pop too. if you kick out with your ollies(and always be sure to jump) you'll get higher off. but you need to commit because your back foot will catch it and level it out in the air.
AntonzzH I make it spin but my back foot touches the ground
Bro if u dont land is becousenu know u wont land, concentrate on landing on the board not on the spin u will fall but u just have to jump doing the flip and try yo land beliving it.
Mike: 9 min to learn ollie.
Me: Soon a year to learn ollie.
Edit: I can now do ollie... if im not moving
keep trying! you’ll eventually get it
Well done
You can learn it (ollie)in a couple of hour, just do ollie over and over and nothing else. That is what this guy did.
YoshiMasters you probably just aren’t practicing hard enough. You can learn it in a few hours or even minutes if you practice hard enough.
I can’t switch ollie without moving but I learned them in like 2 minutes. Ollies are 20x more easy if you are rolling
2:06 i bet he’s gonna tell all his friends he ate shit
Garren Lake d
Garren Lake ck
haha yeah ikr
Getting smacked in the shin like that is way worse than eating shit
Garren Lake omfg GARRREEEEN
Every time his cat was in frame i really hoped he wouldn't pull an Alinity
You know whats funny about this video is the fact he got popsicled, chinned, priomo, and got his toe squished basically all the main worst things that happen on flat ground and hurt alot😂 yet he still did a kickflip😎👌
2:05 hurts him self badly
wife: nothing
2:35 skateboard comes close to his wife's favorite toy
wife: OMG! are you ok ?!
😭😭
This comment Loki had me dying
@@samliley1419 "Loki" lmao
Favorite toy 😂
Inappropriate
how the Frick did he do an ollie in 10 mins it took me like 2-3 days lol
It took me 6 months lol😐
@@selin5168 im sure you only skate once a week, If you wanna be good you gotta be consistent
@@subscriptoressinsubirvid-cq9kj I skated almost every day and got my ollie yesterday. It took me 6 months as well.
It took me a week...however it will take me about 2 months more to land an ollie good enough for a kickflip
Humble flex. I like
OMG... That cat..!! Hilarious. I also totally Laughed Out Loud at 5:00 when you landed on your ass on the pavers. I shouldn't have, because it looked like it hurt, but I couldn't help it..! LOVE this.
2:38 that my friend is what we skaters call a credit card
b8ked you’re not a true skater until you’ve been credit carded at least once
My penis is extremely small but , and that’s a fact
@@sojiez5786 thank you
I call it popsicled lol
s8ns b8ked I thought a credit card is when it goes in your ass? I could be wrong but I thought there was another word for when it hits your balls
Now he has to learn it while riding XD
CTI totally different game too. it's like learning how to skate all over again.
CTI Imo if you learn how to properly ride a board first, that's easier
I remember when I did my first good ollie , I was so happy , but then i tried to do it while riding and it was so much harder ahaha
.
Muscle memory. If he gets the trick down it's not as hard to do it moving
Wal-Mart skateboard + running shoes + ollie in 10 minutes = respect
Learning ollie in 9 minutes?! You're awesome!
You are already better than lance
Nobody's better than Lance the #skategod
Respect the #skategod
No disrespect to the #skategod
#skategod
But, lance is the #SKATEgod
learns ollie on a walmart board in 10 min ...ollie took me half a year wtf
DIzE same like how the fuck
DIzE commitment i guess
DIzE , not a walmart board… this is the UK… it's a sports direct board
for real

Continue Skating
Dude by the time you got to 46 minutes your kickflip progress has exceeded mine, and I've been working on it for awhile. Good freaking job.
I've been practicing kickflips for like 2 months now and I still cant get them
+fiji.12o7 Try this video th-cam.com/video/pvglCapVEog/w-d-xo.html
Get yourself some shin pads and a helmet to give you a confidence boost and don't give up! You'll get it soon, I promise! Tweet me your progress and good luck!
Took me 6 years to land 1... Took my buddy a few hours to land 1
+jordanp.00 i've been doing it for 5 years man
+jordanp.00 keep it on just go to skateparks and ask for support and tips
same
That was an Ollie late Flip. Definetly harder than a normal flip
Gustavo Bruno hahahah but hey the tittle says he landed a kick flip I guess it did somehow magically count as a kick flip 😜but glad I wasn‘t the only one that though it was a late one ^^
Am a be honest that was the first way I learn kick flips and it took me like a week to re learn them
It was regular kickflip but slower
No that was a kickflip. Wasn’t late enough to really be counted as a late flip
TheAnimeNerd27 Listen up kid, if you look in the video you see he’s pushing down with his toes to flip the board, he isn’t fuckin flipping the shit like he’s supposed to.
that pure happiness when he finally landed it that's what skateboarding is about
It's really amazing that you land a kick flip for the first time and then you just keep landed them immediately
Ive been skating for years...
I learned how to do a casper flip
a heel flip
a tre flip
a varial...
still cant kick flip
Just Your Shadow I garentee that trick tips fucked up your kickflips more than anything. Kickflip trick tips suck because they show you how to get the most perfect one ever. Take all of that shit and get rid of it and then stand over your board and think "Okay, how canI flick this in a way that will keep it right under my feet." Swer to God, I got it third try after that. They are still rocketed though. I just started.
Just Your Shadow isnt a tre flip super hard
Stephen Struble appreciate this! yes trick tips are all convoluted
Evan Kristoffer Say it to my face you little shit:)
Evan Kristoffer btw, im way better than you at skating. I couldn't even watch your videos they are so terrible. I dont even need to kickflip to be better than your garbage ass no style having barely kiss the rail ass hahahahaha trash kid
Wheres the thrasher hoodie?
This guy would be awesome if he kept at it. He commits 100%
Thirteen Banger not really
Hands down, this is the most entertaining (best video ever) TH-cam video I have ever seem. I respect your metaphor/analogy, don't quit skateboarding. I love it and will skate with you any day.
Thank god you got a better board, I saw you got one of the shitty shrink wrapped ones and I was like oh no...
that looked like he did a late flip
Breakaway 70 what makes it a late flip? (Sorry bad eng)
ViolentSofa that he doesn’t flick immediately and instead waits until the last moment
ViolentSofa its when you do a ollie but while your in the air you flip the board like a normal kickfli
Breakaway 70 iiiii
Breakaway 70 well technically it was sorry if im not typing correct im from germany
Fake or not, this shows that if you're willing to put your full time and effort into it, anybody can do it.
Jonathan Pitchford it's not fake, this guy's just a monster
true
Jonathan Pitchford I
Jonathan Pitchford well, if it’s fake it doesn’t show that anybody can do it. Cause it would be fake. Full disclosure, I don’t think this is fake. Approx 6 hours seems like a short time but it really isn’t.
I want to fly without suits or machines!
I just can't believe he ollied in 8 mins and kickfliped in 5 hours that's insane ! At this rate he could become a sponsored pro in a week!
2:05 literally could have done it in 12 mins
Awesome commitment Mike
+Dare Obidi thank you!
@@MikeBoyd + can you give your cycle to me for freee i like your cycle
Obviously, the only way you were able to learn this trick so quickly is because the cat was always there for motivational support.
dude learned how to ollie in 10 minutes...
IT TOOK ME 2 YEARS WTF
no way dude please tell me your joking
that’s impressive it took you that long
