This show forces the question, what would operas from the mid-1940s by American composer Gian Carlo Menotti look like in 2020? We explore two of his most famous pieces written in 1945 through the lens of dreadful 2020. In this video, you see Menotti's "The Telephone" sees the lovers Lucy and Ben navigating through a new relationship during a pandemic, when our telephones seem to be all we have.
