The American or Hollywood princess. She was the most beautiful woman in Hollywood history as far as I'm concerned. Every time I see her move into frame for the first time in Rear Window, I totally gasp. Her face literally takes my breath away.

TeaAtTwo I agree-And I take nothing from that at all. I say this not, I repeat not out of hate. No desire that. I am on this channel because I appreciate old Hollywood style (Not their absolute unrelenting racism), but the style, that those like Lena Horne, Ava Gardner, Audrey Hepburn and some others like Grace Kelly, epitomize the essence of true old Hollywood glamour and “lady”ness in image*. The reality of her getting involved in certain things and the misery that laid behind those castle walls, always makes it an amazing thing to me that even among those who are aware of this, the beauty as the subject almost seems to erase the reality. The beauty is her legacy. Well, the beauty and the style in those clothes oh my oh my. But clothes don’t give you style-and they’re part of it, but style is an overall entity but self that one carries or not. But as for beauty overshadowing all of these very sad, uncommonly sad realities, that I won’t name in effort to avoid what may look like slander or needlessly shading, I really think it is odd how that works.

But Grace Kelly was the most beautiful"

i remember being very sad that were were losing one of my favorite actresses and movie stars to a small country with which I had no emotional attachment. It seemed a folly to me - that she would give up her career that was leading her closer and closer to acting greatness. However, watching this documentary I now see that she was restlessly creative. She always wanted, as someone stated, to be "better" and "more." She wanted challenges, and this was one of those testing moments that defined her ambition to always be rising to the occasion. I think she sensed that, as an international, empowered celebrity, she could be useful to more people with the resources that position would afford her.
Being that royalty is a shared fiction that many people accept to be true, I would argue that Grace Kelly continued her make believe story for the rest of her life.

She definitely got around. Something cold and unlikeable about her
Grace Kelly, a beautiful woman, a class act.....the Hollywood Princess!
I’m truly saddened and touch by this wonderful lady. Such a tragic way to die and the loss of one of the children too. I can’t imagine the sorrow. God bless
The 17 year daughter lived thru car accident.
@@lynneng25 She did but seemed a very disturbed young woman. The accident would have caused great trauma but she was rebellious.
There’s also the rumour that her daughter was driving

Wow! I remember when my Granny and Mum talked to me about her natural beauty (even in her Movies), and when she was Princess always catch attention for this naturalness, gentleness, simplicity and very natural beauty in her ✨👑✨Hollywood star who became Princess with many honours and the World still remember her until now ❤
Natural Beauty that doesn’t happen nowadays
The American or Hollywood princess. She was the most beautiful woman in Hollywood history as far as I'm concerned. Every time I see her move into frame for the first time in Rear Window, I totally gasp. Her face literally takes my breath away.
my favorite old movie, if i had to pick one, is REAR WINDOW grace kelly & james stewart 1954. & i adore thelma ritter in anything. i have the dvd & its always a hit whenever friends come over for an old movie/popcorn night. i live in a high rise, 18th flr, & we're always making up stories about the neighbors we catch glimpses of thru the windows. lol.
Thelma Ritter was great in Pillow Talk with Doris.Day and Rock Hudson.....
@@mia.2857 shes always a riot.

Rear window is the greatest film ever!

We love loving her !!!! A real princess !!!
Class & elegance. Miss it
Gosh, She was Beautiful.
Grace Kelly was a beauty and her father was a handsome man too 3:43
TeaAtTwo she looks like him. She just took her mum’s blue eyes and blond hair.
@@formerlyarandompropernameb9327 So is that true Grace was sleeping around even with married men ?
Fey Rol I think you’re right...
And the mom was probably even more beautiful
A flawless beauty, in every way-I remember exactly where I was when the news broke that she had died. So young, so unspeakably sad.
Wow.. Her parents were a great looking couple.
Janette Davis r you of Irish descent ?

Father irish, Mother german
John B. Kelly , Margaret K. Majer
Damn you weren't kiddin
Yes, it’s s clear where Grace got her beauty from!
11 films in 3 years is insane
My God she was beautiful, both inside and outside!
Nude
Oh yes they are very real believe me.
The fact that she was born 2.5 hours from where I live is so amazing!!
She was born 2.5 hours away from literally millions. You are not important!
@@ingriddubbel8468 Yes she's important - just like you are important! Which doesn't have any thing to do with Grace Kelly.
@@ingriddubbel8468 😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂You are too funny😂I live 2hours 22mins hours from where she was born, but who cares🤣😂🤣😂🤣Lots of people live in Philadelphia, where she was born, so they even closer🤣
Remember the day she died. Her State Funeral when all the casinos closed. The people of Monaco loved her.
cyntha harrell l remember the day she died and the press and the press tried to blame Stephanie, it came out later that Grace had her first Brain Hemorrage
and Stephanie had to grab the wheel from the passenger seat,
that's an awful memory for Stephanie to carry
I love Grace Kelly she was such a great role model. Perfect! And lovely!!!
Grace Kelly a girl from Philadelphia. Then to
Princess of Monaco
It is amazing to see interviews with her family and people who knew her.
The most beautiful royal ever
It is such a shame that classy and elegant American women like Grace Kelly do not exist at all today.
When women were natural beauties ❤️
Actually Cary Grant once said (in one of his Conversations with Cary shows, at the end of his career) that Grace was the most beautiful actress in Hollywood and that she wore virtually No makeup - a young woman in the crowd said she was a very big Ingrid Bergman fan and asked Cary what he thought of Ingrid - and Cary said "Ingrid was marvelous .... But Grace Kelly was the most beautiful"
Grace was beautiful, elegant, & so regal.
Truly a graceful woman
The Hispanic woman said it all!!! She understood Grace Kelly’s acting and determination/ Working ethics.
Beautiful documentary. Thank you.
Real nice film !!
The American dynasties love their stories especially Irish American one
Grace mother had... German roots !! From Prussia !!
There are people who were born tô be special, Grace Kelly was one of them. She was really special. It Will passes many years when we Will hear again about só a wonderful woman.
RIP Grace Kelly
i remember being very sad that were were losing one of my favorite actresses and movie stars to a small country with which I had no emotional attachment.
Princess Grace a true beauty to our world.
Being that royalty is a shared fiction that many people accept to be true, I would argue that Grace Kelly continued her make believe story for the rest of her life.
This! So true.
What a beautiful and classy woman!💝💝
Few women can compare with her beauty.
Tkanki you so very much for this so well done documentary! Worthwhile to such a beauty and personality as it was Grace Kelly - forever Princess!
She was beautiful, I will always love her
