I have had stage 4 prostate cancer for three years, I am 79 and otherwise healthy. Now they say I have liver cancer and must immediately go on chemo. I spoke to the APRN on my case and asked her straight out, "does sugar feed cancer", her response, "no not at all, they did trials thirty years ago and there is no evidence of that." I was stunned, then immediately told her "I ain't going on chemo". I am on the keto diet now and will take it from there. No confidence in the conventional medical people.
YES YES YES ITS TRUE!!! 7 years stage 4 metastatic breast cancer . 2 days ago I found out Im cancer free!!! WOO HOO !!!!!! WHY? 2 YEARS AGO i WENT KETO and I have not been super strict but 95% of the time. I exercise everyday walking swimming strength classes, I practice intermittent fasting as well in the past 6 months. I have also lost 17.6 kgs....... PLEASE listen to these guys. I also had letrozole and kisqali and denonusab injections as well from Oncologist
So appreciated this video and especially you three doctors! I had a lumpectomy 3 weeks ago and was told there was a 6mm cancer found. They want to do chemo… I am shocked! Not happening!
@@lindamick8031it depends on what type cancer you have. Go online and read about the type you have. Following this advice is great, but adding chemo might help too. I had a breast biopsy earlier this year and learned more than I ever wanted to know.
Liar! You CANNOT cure mestatic breast cancer! Only extend your life. I have it and am in ketosis to stop it spreading to live with it but you are not cured you lier.
It works . Stage 2 in February 2024. Started keto diet trying my best to keep blood sugar below 70. Vit D level was 38. Since then I water fast 3 to 4 days per week. Use 10000 IU of Vit. D per day. As of this writing Sept 19 2024. Vit. D is 62, tumor is 40% smaller with possibility of regular removal via colonoscopy. Also I'm diabetic but now my A1c is 5.2. Drs. Seyfried , Fung, and their associates who research and put forth this vital information deserve medals of honor.
Lost my mother to gallbladder cancer. She had absolutely sober habits, no comorbidities, and very physically fit but loved sugar. She could live on cake and sweets for days! My point is, sugar, and carbs are a killer!
I'm sorry you lost your mum. I lost my dad to prostate cancer. I didn't know then what I know now. Part of me thinks I could've saved his life if I did. But we can't think like that.
It may not have been the sugar. I lost my parents to cancers - 5 bouts between them. Now to my input - Dr. Seyfried discusses how cancer lives on fermentation. Now with diet, we can learn from cooking - when you make bread the yeast uses sugar to start, but it uses flour to thrive. Also, let's think about fermentation in making sauerkraut we use salt and then let it age . So if sugar can be a starter, then how about flour, and vegetable enzymes could be a bigger problems and since these Dr.s probably don't cook or if they do haven't leaped beyond their field . Sorry you lost your mom so painfully.
Anti fungal + anti parasitics can be very helpful don't forget (to stop theft of Iron, and thus Oxygen supply to mitochondria by parasites and restore OxPhos)
Unbelievably important and profound discussion. I have skin cancer, relatives have died from melanoma- I went carnivore to pull down my pre-diabetes and reduce blood sugars. I think this information may save my ( and others) live's to help live decades longer. Thank you for organising this podcast. Have subscribed.❤
This really is a mindblowing podcast, man, I just threw everything I learned in the seventies as a medical student overboard and directly ordered Seyfrieds book to start learning the latest science and I do hope I can help people with it. I realise now I just let them fight with the wrong tools. I just say: Seyfried/his team must get the Nobel-prize for medicine for sure. I hope my grandchildren will be able to profit from this great man's mind. Thanks for providing the opportunities with this amazing podcast and I will try to support your struggle........ Greetings from The Netherlands on a (now even more) sunny Friday morning.
You 3 have no idea of the ripple effect your work and commitment to following the science is making in the world! Thank you, thank you, thank you 🙏🙏🙏🇿🇼🙌
Thank you for this discussion! I found Dr Fung over 4 years ago when trying to find a way to reverse my T2D. I was able to get off both my metformin and glypizide. I found Dr Seyfried and had been following him as well. I had been eating keto/carnivore this while time. Then, this past spring, all of a sudden my blood sugars started climbing. I said to may husband, I wondered if I could have liver or pancreatic cancer. Nope, on my routine mammogram in May, found a small lobular breast cancer. A couple of weeks post surgery, my blood sugars returned to lower limits, even setting off my low limit on my CGM. I am continuing to do a more strict carnivore diet and some days of fasting.
Also, with my high blood sugars before my surgery, my PCP had me go back on metformin. I have coninued to take 1000 mg per day. What are your thoughts on metformin action on cancer cell mitochondria???
God bless you man. Please DO make this your mission, and go full force. Our loved ones are being sabotaged by care teams that insist to them that diet is irrelevant to cancer (and the hospital even serves them up carb and sugar heavy meals). We need the sense to get knocked into the head of DOCTORS. Make it visible to them, make it known, make it so loud they can't miss knowing about it. Make infographics that simplify and summarize what we're talking about so that doctors in a rush can understand it quickly (and it will stick with them long). Whatever it takes.
They are way to brainwashed by med schools which I believe are in the pocket of large pharmaceutical companies. I just avoid Dr's altogether, unless I broke a bone or something like that they will not know I even exist.
There are a number of physicians willing to put in the time & effort to learn. These are three of those engaged in the Sisyphean effort (at least so far) to change the mind set of medical practitioners and begin the healing of folks around the world. Bravo gentlemen, bravo...
Your oncologist is smart he is recommending the right foods you need put in the body no man made all natural organic water healthy herb like turmeric we are what we eat 🇵🇭🇺🇸
@deliaocampo4340 Within a couple of weeks, I felt so much better. More energy, positive attitude. I only regret it took me so long to release it is the answer.
Non-scientist here. Question. What if you consider a cancer cell not a mutation but a normal body function cell. That basically lives together in with the typical body cells. Its purpose at this point is unknown to us. But both types of cells have their function. The normal body cells eat grow die, and replicate keeps our systems going. The cancer cell is in a state of stasis, which it prefers. It gets enough food to keep it in its condition, until something disrupts that. Oxidative stress starts to starve the cancer cell. And like any other organism it fights to survive. So it gorges itself on the excess glucose in the body. And just like eating the Western diet the gains in weight and size. If you starve the body of glucose can it send signals to the liver to produce gluconeogenesis that keeps it thriving? And if it thrives on glucose and it makes lactic acid a fermentation from lactobacillus, and we are all told to eat more fermented foods, could eating these fermented foods be exactly what the cancer cell needs to stay in its happy Form of stasis, where it can continue its function without harming the cells around it?
Sanjay, you finally are sold on the Seyfried genius insight. What will you do radically differently?! Hint: practical clinical paradigmatic inplementation of the Press Pulse Metabolic therapy. I'll be your first patient. I have been implementing Seyfried's protocol as much as a lay person can and as a result my results are " stable."
I love that people are growing more bold in speaking about this. It’s time to shout it out from the rooftops. We don’t want more chemo. We want metabolic therapies.
Great episode, what you all explained makes sense, thank you for shedding light on it and not overcomplicating it. What also makes sense is the cancer industry growing bigger and wealthier while cancer rates are simultaneously growing as well, and without a sign of a cure anytime soon, it goes in line with what dr.Seyfried touched on, 1985 big pharma and cancer research partnership... Btw dr. Rober Lustig would be a great guest too, he's been fighting the sugar industry for decades.
This is a fantastic discussion between two brave clinicians and researcher. Real time translational science to arm patients and providers with actionable solutions for the bedside. Bravo 👏
Very interesting . I was diagnosed with statge2 breast cancer and they found 3 positive lymph nodes in my armpit. I rarely eat bread or pasta, but I did love my cakes. Anyway, I started chemo 2 weeks ago and my body craves bread, pasta, cake and chips. At my oncologist office in the treatment room they offer juice, crackers and cookies which I find odd. This is crazy!! I thank you all for this info- I will be fasting and then eat on a keto diet for the rest of my days. ❤

I remember awhile back someone posting this inhibitor list on a Seyfried video. Are any of these still used in conjunction with the low carbs to potentially stop a cancer: Inhibitor List: V-9302 and SLC1A5 Fenbendazole or is it called (albendazole, mebendazole) DON (6-Diazo-5-oxo-L-norleucine) L-Asparaginase CB-839 Bis-2-(5-phenylacetamido-1,3,4-thiadiazol-2-yl)ethyl sulfide (BPTES) Telaglenastat (CB-839) Glutamine analogs Acivicin Azaserine Methionine sulfoximine (MSO) 6-Diazo-5-oxo-L-norleucine (DON) Quercetin Phloretin Tea polyphenols (e.g. epigallocatechin gallate) Honokiol Berberine Epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG) Carfilzomib L-Glutamic acid γ-(p-nitroanilide) hydrochloride (GPNA) 2-Aminobicyclo-(2,2,1)-heptane-2-carboxylic acid (BCH) Dual GLS/GLUD1 inhibitors: Compounds targeting both glutaminase and glutamate dehydrogenase JHU-083: A prodrug of DON with improved pharmacokinetics and reduced toxicity
Greetings Dr's Please I need help on right diet to take. Diagnosed of invasive breast cancer and been struggling on getting the right treatments. I am 40 years old. Would love to go on a rightful program for the treatment.
Hi, Dr Seyfried says here in the podcast that cancer cannot use fatty acids as it's fuel to make energy as fatty acid is stored in cancer cells as lipid vacuoles. This is quite contrary to what other experts have said that cancer in advance stage uses any and all fuel that is available to it in the body including fatty acids and ketone bodies. I would like to know this in detail so as one knows what is correct answer and why. Thanks
What nonsense. There is more than one way to a goal; especially in medicine. You also need patient compliance too. People want quick results minimal lifestyle change even when facing cancer. Good scientists do honest work and slave away their life to try and DISPROVE their theories. You don’t deserve their efforts
Pablo Kelly died last week. But he did not implement the full Press Pulse protocol of Dr. Seyfried's Metabolic therapy. Did not pulse with the the DON drug. And not sure if he used the HBOT protocol either. Still with the ketogenic lifestyle, he was around for over 10 years!
Thank you Dr.s. I shared with my entire family. I LOVE that Dr. Fung says coinkidink, lol. My fam has been using this term for ages and I found it hilarious. Much love to each of you. I am working on stopping the progression of my leukemia dx after a Jak2 mutation. So far it's going well.
I have been diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma with amyloid deposits. Tremendously interesting to follow these podcasts - Thank you! My question: If Glutamine feeds cancer cells, how does the keto diet - meats, eggs, dairy etc (that provides highest amount of glutamines) help the body go into ketosis and starve cancer cells?
Me too-my brother is 3+ years into MM treatment. His body is being destroyed while his cancer hangs on. When I listen to these Metabolic treatment Drs, I never hear them talk about the blood cancers directly.
With all the discussion about bioenergetics, it would have been really cool to also have Ben Bikman on the podcast since it's his field of study and his contribution to the conversation may help to solve the puzzle that is cancer.
Yay!! So happy to hear these two experts on the same stage!!😃. We are learning! We are spreading the word! We are fasting! Thank you for teaching us how! 🙏👍💪
One day, through these discussions on dietary reasons for cancer, some one will find out that cancer is a result of poisoning through food, water and air.
Dr Jason Fung mentioned in his video an interesting experiment - a group of patients were fat adapted. One person got a certain amount of insulin for lowering his blood sugar. The blood sugar dropped as low as 9 mg/dl !!! With no sings of seizures!!!! Imagine you're a cancer patient in deep clinical ketosis awaiting for your chemotherapy.
I love hanging out in a room with smart people who know what’s up even if I have no idea what they’re saying. 😅 I so look forward to the day when people stop poisoning themselves in order to get well. But not holding my breath. But I love Dr Seyfried bluntness and his optimism.
The relationship between cancer and metabolism isn’t a straightforward cause-and-effect scenario; rather, for cells to become cancerous, they must go through numerous steps and acquire a range of complex characteristics. These include proliferative signaling, evading growth suppressors, resisting cell death, enabling replicative immortality, inducing angiogenesis, and activating invasion and metastasis, as well as reprogramming energy metabolism and evading immune detection. Achieving this intricate array of changes requires multiple genetic, chemical, physical, and electrical alterations, painting a picture of immense complexity. Consequently, while there are many potential targets for treatment, pinpointing the specific few that could disrupt this formidable machinery remains a significant challenge.
How can we force our health ministers to add this metabolic therapy to SOC. Lots of patients unable to afford metabolic treatments. Why the hell is this not being addressed.
I subscribe to channels rather difficultly, because I usually have to be convinced that the respective channel provides good content, and it's not just one good video I've watched - an outlier. However I subscribed to this channel after watching a video from year ago with Dr. Seyfried, and then one from the same time with Dr. Fung. Before watching this video with both of them, I was already subscribed! It's not just the potential - the promise you give to cancer patients - but the way you're describing it - Dr. Fung masterfully explained the origin and development of cancers, in a way I've seen with only very few science communicators! And I'm a layman. And Dr. Seyfried gives so clear practical directions to potential cure, or at least long-period management of cancer ... I'm really mind-blown! Now I have few questions, because I was actually researching the subject, because a close friend is about a month and a half after subtotal gastrectomy (3/4ths of his stomach removed due to tumor in his stomach, the size of a man's fist up to 12cm in its widest dimension). His histology detects metastatic in 3 out of 10 lymph nodes. And so far there are 3 types of cancer cells, one of which is poorly cohesive (which is associated with even worse prognosis, because they spread much easier). So far we've tested DP-L1 & HER2 biomarkers, and only HER2 gave 2+ reaction and only on one of the 3 types of cancer cells (not on the poorly cohesive one). And I'm still confused why doctors (oncologists) don't direct us to test the other biomarkers related to stomach cancer - I've identified about 9 of them (only 2 tested!). I understand that there are reasons (unknown to me) why some of the other markers are pointless to even test, but I would like a logical explanation - not just raise of the shoulders! :/ In any case I was looking at nutritional management for two purposes - helping the patient get stronger (he's currently 45kg at 177cm - ie really skinny), but also to see if there are certain diets that can at least slow down the cancers (while nurturing the patient). I've heard that PET-scans are using this Warburg effect to feed the cancer cells the radioactive contrast with some type of sugar agent, but as I understand some types of cancers don't respond to this, and in general even PET-scan isn't really reliable to show the current picture (not to mention that it's a diagnostic tool, not a treatment). In any case having common/similar metabolic processes among many cancer types is really promising! But I'd like to make sure we choose appropriate treatment and/or diets, and for that I wonder if there are tests that can tell us what types of nutrition these cancer cells like and which they don't? And of course even if I research and understand this theory (which is still in development :/) perfectly, we would still need a real doctor to give us proper treatment plan. And currently we've only heard rougly "it's a bad prognosis. but he's young guy 47 years old, so we'll give him chemo, because it's better than nothing". Well the patient is very reserved against chemo (understandably so), but there's another problem - my mother's closest friend died from stomach cancer last weak, after 2 years, mostly wasted time. They did several rounds of chemo, but only caused her few dangerous thrombosis, which not only blocked further chemo treatments, but also made her accumulate liquids in her lungs and her abdomen. Yes a single case doesn't give full picture, but I'm quite clear what's the most likely outcome! :( Any concrete directions for tests and respective treatment plans based on science is VERY welcome!!! Btw we're in Sofia/Bulgaria, so we're not far from Turkey - I've heard that there are some innovative techs being done there?
Thanks for your message, and we're glad our interviews have been helpful. Regarding treatment options, we're afraid we can't advise. You'll need to consult a nearby doctor who can guide your friend. Each cancer is different, so each case requires a bespoke approach. Don't be afraid to seek a 2nd or 3rd opinion. Best wishes.
I’m a metastatic breast CA patient at Yale/Smilow in New Haven, CT. Love my onc but he is not on board with the metabolic theory or sugar feeding CA. Ketovore since 2018: how do I find an MD who is open to this truth? I’m 58 & very interested in living. Thanks guys.
I was treated successfully by both Dr. Christy Kesslering and Dr. Leonard Kaplan. They were both trained by Dr. Nasha Winters. They are all in agreement with Dr. Thomas Seyfried's scientific findings and protocol. Look them up.
I'm a stage 4 cancer thriver. The metabolic approach that Drs Seyfried and Fung preaches require ketosis. Get a Keto-Mojo glucose ketone blood meter. It's important to achieve therapeutic ketosis where the GKI (glucose ketone index) is 3 and lower. Diabetes type 2 can also be reversed using ketosis. It's best not to DIY your cancer healing journey. A lot of guidance and necessary bloodwork from metabolic approach trained physician. I highly recommend Dr. Christy Kesslering in Chicago and Dr. Leonard Kaplan in Buffalo, NY. Look them up. They both offer telemedicine consultations. My life was saved via their diet recommendations and therapies. I thank Yahweh God for the resources! I wish you well in your healing journey.
Wishing you well❤ Dr Seyfried is at BOSTON College. You are close enough to contact him directly. He may be able to help you directly and/or point you in the right direction.
@@jellybeanvinkler4878my understanding is he doesn’t see patients but he may be able to give referrals. I’m interested in finding a Dr who is versed in Seyfried metabolic theory.
Professor Seyfried is such a star & an angel ! Thank you for this wonderful podcast. Though I didn’t quite get it on the part you asked Seyfried about liposarcoma, what were you trying to lead to in that question? Was it related to the question of cancer cells feeding on fat? Would you mind explaining?
Extremely interesting... does this approach only work when a tumour appears or is it relevant to NH Lymphoma cancer as well... I mean if it's a wait and see approach then logically keto & fasting is worthwhile as one "waits".
my question is ... now after 7 years of stage 4 breast cancer and 2 days ago being cancer free, how to go forward. I am thinking I will continue with keto lifestyle and fasting as well and daily exercise My Oncologise wants me to continue Letrazole and Kisqali ( riblocylib ) . The side effects are horrible but I will listen to him. When should I stop taking the . At what point is enough enough..
I refuse to take aromatase inhibitors I do IF I do eassiac tea , mushroom extract spirulina , DIM but no way am I giving up my estrogen I need it for bone , heart , blood sugar , and being able to exercise lift weights without joint pain … quality of life matters to me as much as how long I have to live
@@lindadubois850 oh yes I agree. I wish I was brave enough to stop them I really do, maybe in the next scan of no cancer. That will be 3 scans so maybe then
Congratulations for your healing!!! If it was me, I wouldn't put toxic drugs in my body if it wasn't absolutely necessary. They interfere with the body's normal functions which causes those horrible side effects. To me it looks like you already showed how powerful and nontoxic a low-carb diet can be by itself. But that's just me, you do you.
The processed food and sugar industry, just like the tobacco industry, just does not want anyone to know their product will slowly kill you, bad for sales numbers! A surgeon general warning label on sugar (and corn syrup) products needs "causes cancer and diabetes".
I’ve been diagnosed with endometrium cancer. They said mine was not genetic. My oncologist doesn’t think sugar is a problem at all and says that’s just false information on the internet. I’ve stopped my sugars and have significantly changed my diet because I was a huge person. I don’t drink smoke so drugs and I’m not overweight. I eat as much organic as I can but I still eat fruits like berries the most and citrus. Mind you I’ve only found out about this since September 16 2024. I’ve had a full hysterectomy and now I’m in discussions about radiation. I believe in modern medicine but I also believe in in what they are speaking. Along with herbal and spirituality. God bless everyone who’s going through it🙏🏻 I found the read radical remissions written by Kelly Turner is a great read and shares terminal cancer patients and they completely changed their diet along with many other things
There is only one thing driving all cancer research and that is MONEY. There is no money in forcing people to follow a carnivore or strict keto diet. So many illnesses would be non existent. We have the answers but the power of money and carb plus seed oil addiction has never been as strong as now.
My Boyfriend had tried gene therapy for his Cancer. He went into that. I rid their shakes they had him on. Full of sugar. I used high calorie beans and vegetables to make smoothies with a sugar free protein powder to disguise the flavor also peanut butter. It did get his weight back up. I thought even though he couldn't any longer eat. Why shakes full of sugar. It's hard to find one already made. Prayers for all 🙏🙌😇🌄
Lactic acid adsorption Activated charcoal can be used as an adsorbent for lactic acid fermentation, separation, and oligomerization. The adsorption of lactic acid on activated carbon is significantly affected by pH
That's right they put profits number 1, patients number 2, sad so sad😢, I knew this very long time, not only cancer but any other disease, patients life means nothing these days 😢
I would say profits 1 and personal careers 2. Writing articles and pretending to do research, but the research is paid for by the pharmaceutical industry, not guided by the longing to truly find something out.
Soooo where's the cook book/ information on what best to eat for the nutrition to follow eating guideline to all this to best cure ? Seen alot of these videos from Dr Thomas Seyfried but no actual instruction on when what how to eat to live .
Eat real food, ie, real meat and produce, not packaged, factory foods that always have sugar as one of their major ingredients. Avoid all carbs, including sugars, grains, fruits and legumes. Eat quality meats and green, non-starchy vegetables. Investigate intermittant fasting and fasting (Dr Fung is a great start). This is not my advice, just what I have gleaned from listening to the experts on this video and other experts who are on the same page as these guys.
Not sure why my post was censored or not showing up as a response. Let's repost it outside a response: I remember awhile back someone posting this inhibitor list on a Seyfried video. Thank you all of you, but where I can get help, what clinic or doctor I could reach out to get treatment. I have breast cancer stage 4, I'm in Chemo every 21 days, I have been trying to eat as healthy as I can, but the cancer cell numbers don't want to come down. I would appreciate all the help you can provide to me. Thanks.
Diet is a huge contributor to cancer. I'm a stage 4 metastatic breast cancer survivor. My life was saved when I followed the diet instruction of Dr. Christy Kesslering who was trained by Dr. Nasha Winters who is a 30 plus years end stage ovarian cancer survivor. Basically, a cancer patient needs to be on a high protein, high healthy fat and low carbohydrate diet to the point that therapeutic ketosis is achieved with the GKI (glucose ketone index) is at the maximum of 3 and less). That level helped reverse cachexia that I experienced. Because I was at a point where there was so much muscle wasting that i couldn't eat much due to the lack of stomach digestive enzymes and acid, she had me take digestive enzymes that contain betaine HCL. The brand she recommended was Digestzymes. Then I was able to eat the fatty meats without digestive issues. I also tried many other diets but without achieving ketosis, the cancer kept progressing. Achieving ketosis also protected my healthy cells from excessive damage from radiation treatments that I went through. It also helps protect the healthy cells during chemo. I was far too gone for chemo but one of my cousins used ketosis during her chemo sessions and she did not experience the bad side effects of hair loss and nausea. There's a lot of details and the guidance of a metabolically trained physician is needed for success. Dr. Nasha Winter's motto is "Test, Assess, Address, Don't Guess." That means the patient's data such as specific bloodwork, tests for toxic chemicals and pathogens, emotional factors, genetic SNPs and other measurable data is key since the causes and the body's reaction is highly personalized. Dr. Kesslering is great concerning diet guidance which she also practices on herself. She exclusively does online telemedicine and doesn't offer in person therapies. I highly recommend Dr. Leonard Kaplan for both the guidance and Stef treatments. He's located in Buffalo, NY.
@lilyew4905 High proteins, healthy fat means animal protein or what exactly? My husband is diagnosed with stage 4 Nsclc, bone met and we are mainly on plant based diet. As fruits I give him mainly blueberries, pomegranate, sometimes kiwi, apple, peaches, plums...just a small slices. I cannot stop him from not eating fruits but just a few blueberries and a slice of apple I think isn't that really bad. Whst's your advice? May God bless you with health and joyful life 🙏
Another thing that is sooo bad is a person goes in to get chemo for cancer and sits there for an hour or so and then they give the patient cookies or sweets as they leave
this is the 1st time i have found your podcast, fantastic pod, i believe diet and science will cure all diseases of modern life. i live in UK, and will watch other pod casts you have done. thank you and have a great day..

Considering the role of fermentation substrates like lactic acid, could you please share your thoughts, generally, on exercises that increase lactic acid production-like HIIT training, for example. I always hear that it's muscle-sparing and great for reducing visceral adiposity, which should also reduce one's cancer risk...but could the metabolites also potentially fuel cancer growth? Or do the benefits outweigh any risk? Thank you.
Is it possible that on a ketogenic diet the dysbiotic mitochondria are fuelled by ketones thus reducing the need for fermentation and the lowering of insulin switch the cell into fat metabolization and away from glucose. Could the cell then instigate apoptosis?
@@puneetprakash826 I eat lots of fatty fish , Fresh Salmon in butter , sardines , etc. I Also supplement with fermented Cod Liver/ butter oil. I lost about 20 % of my body weight then plateaued. I drink lots of electrolytes daily, lots of salt is very important. I use LMNT brand.
Get a Keto Mojo meter and check your GKI after you water fast for a few days. You will then know what food raises it. Dr. Seyfried discuses this many times in his other interviews.
I watched a video by Ben Bickman this morning ,talking about lactate. He specifically says that the body doesn't produce lactic acid, it produces lactate, which can be recycled back into glucose. I'm wondering if this is a mis-speak, or is one side wrong. Maybe they should compare notes?
This discussion allowed me to see the similarities in the triggering of hyper-progressive disease in the post covid infection & multiple injections context to the immuno suppression resulting promoting inflammation & research on the action of adjuvants like aluminium in many vaccines which all involve disruption to mitochondrial function and cell autophagy & apoptosis disruption, through to the triggering of rogue non classical monocytes. I’m just a retired neuro-occupational therapist who has found self healing through a low carb lifestyle. I firmly believe we will get there. Thank you to the likes of Prof Robert Clancy & Dr Angus Dagleish on John Campbell’s channel, Dr Bruce Patterson of IncellDX, yourselves and the Merogenomics channel.
I'm LISTENING, for year now. Husband died of C, 6 mos ago. He refused to to do your diet protocol and after radiation and immuno therapy he died of starvation at 74. He was a sugar addict.

You must utilise their knowledge and share with your esteemed listeners. All the information you are sharing is very very basic for people who are already aware of this method. And for those who are not aware, there are plenty of information already available everywhere.
@@karenmitchell4561you may listen to plenty of videos and podcasts of same experts with various interviewers. Dr Sanjay Juneja should have taken this opportunity to ask them questions that are not already available in public domain and answered by same experts, not once or twice but several times.
My father was diagnosed with sacoma cancer in his pulmonary artery. They replaced his pulmonary artery. Last week he was told the cancer is back and on his heart.
Cells are supramolecular hierarchical complex systems, in which energy, information and matter circulate in all possible dimensions. Therefore, it is impossible to identify the starting event leading to malignant transformation. I am sure that the genetic model of tumorigenesis that assumes one-directional flow of information from DNA to RNA to some critical proteins, is not correct. However, the mitochondrial model of tumorigenesis seems to be at least incomplete. We know that some viruses, e.g. papilloma virus or herpes virus may induce cancer owing to the incorporation of their DNA into human genome. Furthermore, some oncoproteins enhance glutamine absorption into both cells and mitochondria. Both genetic and macromolecular events work together to drive tumor growth! It is worth to notice that those interactions start already at the quantum level! Complexity of cancer cells is a reason why we should not expect that inhibiting certain metabolic pathway will stop tumor growth. Prostate cancer is an example that show us how smart cancer cells can be if they are deprived of glucose or glutamine. Of course, they search for the other sources of energy. Clinical studies show that prostate cancer patients who eat a lot of animal fat, present, for example, in diary products have 600% higher risk to develop aggressive metastatic cancer than those patients who avoid animal fats. Probably, it is wise to keep in mind that each method including diet possesses its limitations. In particular, what works fine for glioblastoma does not have to work the same way for prostate cancer and vice versa.

So appreciated this video and especially you three doctors! I had a lumpectomy 3 weeks ago and was told there was a 6mm cancer found. They want to do chemo… I am shocked! Not happening!

What are you doing exactly diet wise ?
Drs.

Great episode, what you all explained makes sense, thank you for shedding light on it and not overcomplicating it. What also makes sense is the cancer industry growing bigger and wealthier while cancer rates are simultaneously growing as well, and without a sign of a cure anytime soon, it goes in line with what dr.Seyfried touched on, 1985 big pharma and cancer research partnership...

Thanks

In any case I was looking at nutritional management for two purposes - helping the patient get stronger (he's currently 45kg at 177cm - ie really skinny), but also to see if there are certain diets that can at least slow down the cancers (while nurturing the patient).
Any concrete directions for tests and respective treatment plans based on science is VERY welcome!!!

Dr. Sten Ekberg & Dr. Mandell's videos deal with nutrition and get to the heart of the matter - the root causes of sickness.
❤❤❤
I appreciate this guy. Just saying. I feel challenged listening to him but I’m learning.
Not sure why my post was censored or not showing up as a response. Let's repost it outside a response:
I remember awhile back someone posting this inhibitor list on a Seyfried video. Are any of these still used in conjunction with the low carbs to potentially stop a cancer:

Thank you all of you, but where I can get help, what clinic or doctor I could reach out to get treatment. I have breast cancer stage 4, I'm in Chemo every 21 days, I have been trying to eat as healthy as I can, but the cancer cell numbers don't want to come down. I would appreciate all the help you can provide to me. Thanks.
Can you try prolong water fasting?
@@lilyew4905 Thank you so much. God Bless you!
@@viviannetran1117 I will try. Thank you, God bless you!
May God bless you with health and joyful life 🙏
Wow! What a fabulous panel! Listening now.
How do we limit glutamine?
Plenty of prolonged fasting!
DON.
Vitamin D inhibits glutamine uptake by cancer cells
You can’t effectively reduce glutamine without drugs.
Exercise can reduce it but you can't Exercise all day. Glutamine is also essential for our immune system so we can't eliminate it. It's complicated
Another thing that is sooo bad is a person goes in to get chemo for cancer and sits there for an hour or so and then they give the patient cookies or sweets as they leave
Willful ignorance. The AMA knows about these things. They intentionally turn their backs. We're not even doctors, and we're aware! I mean, really?
Good one !! Do PKD !! 👍🏽👍🏽 “standard ‘care’ “ = corrupt criminal which actually will make u MORE sick !!😡‼️
Thank you. This was a great discussion. Totally enjoyed it!
Our pleasure!
Where can a cancer patient go to receive the type of treatment discussed here? In the US? Is it available outside of the US?
That's what I want to know
Prof Bulent Berkarda at the Chemo Thermia Oncology Centre in Turkey
Best information I've come across so far. THIS is what makes sense !
Thank you for your comment!
Love Thomas Seyfried and I’m betting my health after cancer on Thomas Seyfried!
Why are you not talking about all the Vaccines forced on people ?
this is the 1st time i have found your podcast, fantastic pod, i believe diet and science will cure all diseases of modern life. i live in UK, and will watch other pod casts you have done. thank you and have a great day..
Thanks so much for joining us! We really appreciate it!
Wasn't the dramatic rise in turbo Cancers cased by those "safe and effective" solutions people were forced to get?
Yes the boi weapon
No, I got turbo colon cancer after covid. Not after vaccine.
What about arginine?
It's nothing to do with COVID, it is a tool to push the people in taking the shots, so you did take the shots, and now are you having chemo? @@heathisul
Wow Two specialist physicians MD s, oncologist, nephrologist, and a basic science researcher PhD !🤙🏽🙏🏼👍🏼👍🏼💯
Hope Dr Fung gets his TH-cam channel back soon !!
Did @jasonfung kinda dismantle / undo at 37:00 Seyfried PhD , or the whole #keto #IF theory / solution ?
Considering the role of fermentation substrates like lactic acid, could you please share your thoughts, generally, on exercises that increase lactic acid production-like HIIT training, for example. I always hear that it's muscle-sparing and great for reducing visceral adiposity, which should also reduce one's cancer risk...but could the metabolites also potentially fuel cancer growth? Or do the benefits outweigh any risk? Thank you.
HIIT reduce glucose and glutamine, the acid lactic produce no matter
mate, Sanjay you are anything but humble
Thankyou for your channel. I just subscribed
Thank you!
Is it possible that on a ketogenic diet the dysbiotic mitochondria are fuelled by ketones thus reducing the need for fermentation and the lowering of insulin switch the cell into fat metabolization and away from glucose.
Could the cell then instigate apoptosis?
Please advise what should patients eat to maintain weight, specially when avoiding carbs. The weight naturally goes down in absence of carbs.
Amazing video, your my hero for making it possible.
Sir, this is very generalized discussion. I would like you to dwelve deeper into specific aspects specially when you have such great specialists with you. You must utilise their knowledge and share with your esteemed listeners. All the information you are sharing is very very basic for people who are already aware of this method. And for those who are not aware, there are plenty of information already available everywhere.
Where?
@@karenmitchell4561you may listen to plenty of videos and podcasts of same experts with various interviewers. Dr Sanjay Juneja should have taken this opportunity to ask them questions that are not already available in public domain and answered by same experts, not once or twice but several times.
It's almost like it's done intentionally. There's no way I should know more than what experts are discussing, yet I do.
My mom died of breast cancer in July 2020. I wish I had this knowledge many years ago.😞
