I actually really like the Evo. It works really well with my iPhone 14 pro. It sounds decent. No connection issues. The touch is finicky though. I picked it up from Aliexpress for $65 last week, so it's a much better value proposition that the iFi Go Pods.

I used quite a lot of wireless devices the sound is all ok. To me it’s about the practicality of design. I do think the ifi go pods are real expensive and only worth if you are using insensitive iem. I have other complaints about it too. The Evo device itself other then being faulty on my set, I think they are fine, just a little low on the power department. But the case and orientation of storage just really don’t consider how customers will want to use it.

How does it compare to ifi go pod on SQ? Thanks

Ifi can go way louder with less distortion

@@ZPProductions thanks for replying. There is no other difference between these two on SQ beside ifi can go louder? I have a monarch mkiii, still hesitating if I should go with moondrop evo or ifi go pod.

@@John-jn9bg Get the Go Pod with your Monarch Mark 3 dude. The SQ difference is off the charts, it can go way louder and has wayyyy better battery life. The Evo sucks in comparison by every measure.

Go Pod is the obvious pick as we're all aware of Moondrop hot-garbage QC and everything. But man, its soooo hard to justify 400$. Egh, i don't use 1000$ IEM's either so yeah.

Excuse me, can I ask you something? I think the Moondrop Evo have an app to change DSP settings right? (I think Little white have em)
Does the app provide meaningful change? Also does it able to change the L/R sound balance of the iem, I'm thinking if buying these kind of tws adapter to "fix" the inbalance issue of my Noble Katana.

I thought so too. But last I checked moondrop add can’t be used with the Evo

That is the case that comes with the moondrop blessing 3 a $320 iem... It works well...

The difference is as a iem case, I can choose not to use it which is usually the case for me. But as a wireless hook, I have to use it since it’s needed for charge and transport.

Have been using this for commuting within Singapore since my utws5 (version 2) has charging issues/random connecting to my phone inside the box and utws15 is not out
(rumored to be in sep with wireless charging for the hooks which solves the pin issue).
    Pro of evo
    1. the charging pin is outside. So far, no issue with charging or not connecting to the pins for charging
    2. My iem (xenns top) is not hard to drive but it does a reasonable job
    3. Lightweight but it's also a con cos battery life.
    4. no connection issue yet
    Con
    1. Really bulky box which I cannot put in my OTG bag. Very lazy and unacceptable - they just took blessing 3 storage box design
    2. Coming from UTWS5, the battery life is meh or undesirable. About 3 hours/ Max 3.5 hours with aptx adaptive
    3. Kinda a guinea pig product that is promising if there is moondrop evo 2
    4. No software support
If you can get EVO at half or 75% off, I think it's the correct value. Am considering reviving my utws5 and putting foam on top to hold the hooks in place

What you say kinda also sums what I think at times haha. Except I have connection issues. I do hope moondrop comes out with something better. They are kinda the bridge between real cheap trn to whatever that’s above with a decent spec. Hopefully a V2 and a smaller box will arrive haha
