  • in this jolly escapade, I re vamp the ball turret, and chuck some paint at the fuselage.

    Good spray work,heavy the paint rubbed off ball turret

      I've been able to clean it off fully and have another go at it, so its just a minor nuisance rather than a major catastrophe!

      its getting there! haven't had a chance to do too much with it this last week, I'm hoping to have a session on it tomorrow.

    I built and painted this when i was about nine nice unfortunately all my models from that time have gone paint military figures now

      same here, i do have bits and bobs surviving from my 70's building days, a lot of which are the HO-OO figures.

    Problem you've got paint job ball turret AIRBRUSH paint use enamels hand paint doesn't rub off with handling very old school tip 😆

      the paint I used didn't take to the clear part, it happens, the ball turret is now finished in enamel paint similar to the ones I started using in1974, and as I've been a painter by trade since 1982 I do appreciate people giving me "old school tips!"
