Such beautiful content and calm vibes despite the deadline. Thanks for sharing the little moments, I remember those final weeks watching the sun rise as an archi student-so challenging! But congrats for getting through it!!
@@JennyKendall glad to hear!! i've been worried about graduating and going out into the real world :') nothing set in stone but probably looking to find work somewhere in Europe for the first year or two before I head back to Australia! I'm guessing you're in the UK? hope all is well!
@@jadelau Sounds like a great plan!! I remember that job hunt well - such an exciting (although also scary) time period! Best of luck with it all. And yes I'm a part 1 in the UK, currently trying to figure out where to apply for Part 2 and starting my own TH-cam journey trying to document it all.
I love your videos! So much thought and effort obviously goes into filming, all while you're stressed and doing a million things at once! Fellow archi student who knows the struggle haha
ty for these videos!! as a soon to be first yr architecture student, they inspire me and make me even more excited (and kinda scared lol) to start my studies 🗿
yess!! looking forward to sharing more content soon (also job applications and making a portfolio etc!) but for now :’) its finals season so sorry for not posting!
I have a question, as a student how do you afford to pay for all the materials for model making ? I’m a second year med student and thinking of moving into architecture but I was quite shocked to learn that you have to buy the materials yourself and that they are not provided by the uni. As I person who loves art I know crafty materials are quite expensive so I’m so confused rn
great question..... yes it is extremely expensive to pay for all these model making materials :') most of us have jobs or savings from working during the holidays to help pay for it but its smart to make do with using leftover materials you can find in workshops or things the students leave behind when they graduate! hope this helps and good luck with the transition if you do so!
Hello i'm currently about to start college in less than 20 days and it's my first year i chose architecture since it was my dream and my dads past job i don't really know much about what's it going to be like so how was first year for you? and any advice for me to actually do well on it and avoid as many problems as possible 🫶🏻🫶🏻
hey! ah your comment is giving me so many flashbacks :) i hope it all goes well for youuu- first year was hard not gonna lie, so much to learn and figure out.. but i guess the only thing i would do differently is not to pull so many all nighters- they don't really pay off, and also to keep working throughout the semester rather than at the end only before a submission!! and get used to the programs fast and get your hands on model making early !!
@@jadelau thank you i did hear that we learn a lot of things in it so i hope i can keep up with it and try to focus on revising and reviewing what i study often i hope you get to live your best life 🫶🏻💜
