Hi! I’m sure you can get by without needing to cut wood for projects, this one however was assigned by my professors. However as an architecture major, I believe there will be many instances where cutting instruments would be necessary to complete models and projects.
@@Gardina2211 oh.. i don't know if this will make sense. Architecture is not considered a very stable job or career in India. Most of the times the job is just done by Civil engineers. I dreamt of becoming an architect throughout my high school, only to be hit by the reality in the later years of school. It being a very unstable job, my parents don't really support me becoming one ( they don't restrict me or anything, they are just not that satisfied with me choosing such a career). So, at the end I gave in. Decided to move on to something else.....but this will always stay as a dream in my heart ( They did say that they would allow me to study architecture if I get into any key universities here(like NITs)...but i don't really have any confidence in it...)

I'm going into freshman year next year and I'm contemplating I'd like to do architecture and interior design when I'm older. I'm seeing so many videos on TikTok that are talking down on the major. Any information or anything on architecture?
@@ImaniJackson-jl2yo I was scared about coming into architecture as well because of all the comments online. I would say definitely don’t do it unless you’re actually passionate about it. It’s not worth it if you’re not willing to put in the hours and time for it. It gets difficult at times but also very rewarding, especially when you’re surrounded by people who are just as driven. Good luck!
