Although some of the voice acting isn't great (mostly Lie's), I liked Ihadurca's. Lani Minella did quite well. Also, I love some of her 2P lines. Ie, instead of "You'd better DIE!", she'll say "DIS-MISSED!" and stuff like "Die, NOW!"

+Xehanort10 Well technically she's Lea "dark half" as Karin (Setsuna's magical spirit guide) is Lea's "light half" although this is kind of debatable given that : 1). Ihadulca shows her own sense humanity in her story mode monologues showing she isn't just "all evil." Plus, she's not the one who used Yuri as a medium for creating the Evil Zone barrier. 2.) Karin creates a clone of Setsuna for her to fight for no apparent reason and took possession of Setsuna where she killed/badly injured Al. This shows she isn't "all good" either... In conclusion, perhaps this sort of yin yang or light/dark thing between Ihadulca and Karin is merely a ruse and who they are (now that they are basically separate individuals) is more complicated than being mere halves of someones who is no longer there (Lea) As a side note, I've always imagined Ihadulca's a;alternate playable forms to be the female court magician she possesses, Ihadulca Il Imella (the one you fight in story mode) and Danzaiver's enemy and leader of Cryos, Gillaclva (the third form).

No, Shahal isn't quite one of her forms. Rather, Shahal, according to the Encyclopedia entry is none other than the fallen angel Satan/Lucifer in the form of a sword. In Lie's story mode, the sword eventually steals his soul and takes his body, and then Lie's body vanishes...but in his ending, you can see a young boy take the sword up. Somehow, Ihadurca and Kakurine are aware of Shahal, to the point where Kakurine drops her high pitched voice (she only ever does this when facing Ihadurca). On an interesting note, Ihadurca says "Just as you wished, Orsa" at the end of her story mode. The only explanation for this is given in her Encyclopedia, as a word that means the beginning and ending of everything - but that's it. Perhaps Orsa is some kind of god of the game's universe...
VaatiOfDarkness I think the whole Orsa thing is perhaps the most mysterious things about Evil Zone's story. It's particularly cryptic that it's her final line and Ihadulca is presumably the story one would paly last...Honestly the first time I played through Ihadulca's story, I thought it might've been an affectionate nickname for Kakurine...,Maybe it's a hidden being that had been getting Lea/Ihadulca to do all things she did...Very mysterious indeed.. As a side note, if one were to look at Setsuna/Kairn with less optimistic eyes, what we're seeing with their relationship is how Ihadulca and Kakurine might've started out with Kakurine being a simple "magical girl" and Lea a guiding spirit. Their relationship becomes obsession and Kakurine becomes dark as Ihaducla abandons her once she has no use for her anymore...It's particularly telling that Karin possesses Setsuna in the same way Lea does to other people...Kind of makes you think that Setsuna and Karin will end up (with heartache) the same way as Kakurine and Ihadulca....
I love how imposing this theme is, yet Kakurine is canonically more powerful than Ihadurca, I mean so is Al... But it is heavily implied that Kakurine was the true antagonist of the story.
20 years later, this game still have one of the best ost. So dark, evil and showing no hope at the same time. Masterpiece.
