True, but she is stick thin. Will look good in everything. Cut is much more difficult to achieve for curvier figures. Getting those 12 items right will not be a quick easy task.

During my career, we had to have covered shoulders, it was quite a formal environment. I love how things have relaxed nowadays. I probably wouldn’t wear denim, low-cut, or short shorts/dresses/skirts, but I think those are really the only limits now in most workplaces.

The Uniqlo trousers are SO good! I would recommend going in store to buy them as they have a free tailoring service so you can adjust them to the length you prefer most

AND COFFEE, I just sent sent the jeans I ordered from Everlane back! I was so excited to get them. For me they were an odd fit. Everything fit except for the waist. I would have had to size up, but that is not the only reason. I could not deal with the material. Even with the 2% elastin they were STIFF! I am not sure how many washes it would take to make them soft enough to wear. For reference I bought the mid rise, regular length. The were long on me at 5'7", I would definitely have reordered the short length. I LOVE jeans and I guess I am used to comfy jeans. I like to be able to move comfortably. I sent back and bought a cashmere sweater instead!! Ps. The jeans WERE beautifully made-of course!! Lisa, from Oregon

This might be almost four years old, but everything still looks classic. I don’t like the enormous sleeves on that top, though, they make writing, doing other work, and eating precarious.
That's so interesting. I've had my colours done once before but it didn't really stick (the colours that were "flattering" for me actually looked really bad!). I find as soon as I get a tan my colour undertone completely changes though - you may like to check out some of my recent 15 item work wardrobes as they're much more warm toned xx
you could probably keep the same 'color' but in warmer tones. white to cream, cold grey/black to warm grey/black(red undertone). Buf it is hard to detect which is which if your eyes are not trained/used to seeing it.

Thank you so much! So the first blouse I have from them in the black silk is one of their original shirts, and they've changed the cut and sizing since. Have you seen my latest work wear video? In it I wear the burgundy stripe silk blouse. I am wearing this in a size US 2. It's a loose fit but I feel like it's the perfect level of loose-ness, if you know what I mean. Everlane tends to run large so if you are an AU8 ie. US4, safe to say you're best going down a size with most of their things to a US2. Hope that helps! :)
I am sorry if I am wrong, but does the Everlane sweater pill a lot? It looks like it has a lot of pilling. I have been considering buying them, but now I am hesitant. Although I do have a lint remover so I guess I would be fine...
Mine hasn't pilled much at all. Cashmere naturally does pill (I've had this with both $400+ cashmere pieces and under $100 cashmere) so you do need a comb or depiller, both of which are good to have anyway for knitwear. But I double checked and there is a small amount of pilling but nothing overtly noticeable. It could be because the fabric is slightly marled/flecked that it looked bad on screen? xx
I love your style, and the video was VERY helpful for a fashion-blind person like me. However, I noticed that you have a serious posture problem! Don't take this the wrong way, but I sincerely do hope that you do some back exercises to help you pull your shoulders back and solve your (I'm assuming, but I think you do have them) neck and shoulder aches! Make a conscious effort to sit straight, adopt ergonomic working postures, and over time, it will rectify your protruding neck. Sincerely, a former victim of bad posture.

I've had posture issues since I was about 14 - I suffered a back injury and then years of playing video games hunched over my laptop or scrunched up in bed (due to trying to alleviate discomfort from my back pain) haven't helped. It used to be a lot worse and I've been focusing on improving it but god does it take time! :D

Thank you Lydia, you're so sweet! I sold the white lace one after my closet clear out a few months back but I do still have the black one. I don't wear it as much as it's a little bit for me and I actually need to get it taken in, but it's the perfect piece for the type of weather we have at the moment - bare legs with a cami or something a little more substantial on top :)

How does anyone wear fitted blazer/sweaters over any long sleeve button up shirt? I can't bear how the shirt sleeves bunch up against my skin when it's constricted by a nice, slim blazer/sweater. :( Also does anyone have recommendations for quiet heels?

Loving your videos Jamie! Just was wondering what size are you getting your everlane silk shirts (compared to Australian sizing)? It has American sizes online and the measurements all sound huge! Heard so many good things about everlane but worried about returns
Thank you so much! So the first blouse I have from them in the black silk is one of their original shirts, and they've changed the cut and sizing since. Have you seen my latest work wear video? In it I wear the burgundy stripe silk blouse. I am wearing this in a size US 2. It's a loose fit but I feel like it's the perfect level of loose-ness, if you know what I mean. Everlane tends to run large so if you are an AU8 ie. US4, safe to say you're best going down a size with most of their things to a US2. Hope that helps! :)

I am sorry if I am wrong, but does the Everlane sweater pill a lot? It looks like it has a lot of pilling. I have been considering buying them, but now I am hesitant. Although I do have a lint remover so I guess I would be fine...
Mine hasn't pilled much at all. Cashmere naturally does pill (I've had this with both $400+ cashmere pieces and under $100 cashmere) so you do need a comb or depiller, both of which are good to have anyway for knitwear.
But I double checked and there is a small amount of pilling but nothing overtly noticeable. It could be because the fabric is slightly marled/flecked that it looked bad on screen? xx

I love your style, and the video was VERY helpful for a fashion-blind person like me. However, I noticed that you have a serious posture problem! Don't take this the wrong way, but I sincerely do hope that you do some back exercises to help you pull your shoulders back and solve your (I'm assuming, but I think you do have them) neck and shoulder aches! Make a conscious effort to sit straight, adopt ergonomic working postures, and over time, it will rectify your protruding neck. Sincerely, a former victim of bad posture.

I've had posture issues since I was about 14 - I suffered a back injury and then years of playing video games hunched over my laptop or scrunched up in bed (due to trying to alleviate discomfort from my back pain) haven't helped. It used to be a lot worse and I've been focusing on improving it but god does it take time! :D

Thank you Lydia, you're so sweet! I sold the white lace one after my closet clear out a few months back but I do still have the black one. I don't wear it as much as it's a little bit for me and I actually need to get it taken in, but it's the perfect piece for the type of weather we have at the moment - bare legs with a cami or something a little more substantial on top :)

How do you avoid static cling with your everlane silk shirts and dresses?
I don't tend to have too much issue with static but usually moisturiser helps to reduce static cling! x
