Double Trouble wasn't the last threat. The game was just a standalone title for the DS and had nothing to do with the console titles. The last threat was going to be in Viewtiful Joe 3, which unfortunately never happened because Capcom dissolved Clover Studios.

This is exactly why you shouldn't sequel bait in games or movies if they're not guaranteed to come out. I did have a fan theory though that the last threat would be Joe's mother. Since in the first game, the main villain was Silvia's father and in the sequel, it was Joe's father. But I guess we will never find out. u_u

Does this game run better on GCN than it does on PS2? I had it on PS2 and it ran awful. Very unsteady frame rate. If it runs better on GCN I might give this game another shot.
